One of the most beautiful architectural monuments!
Now it is the museum of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble. After the restoration, you enter the palace and find yourself in the era of the past: design, interior, architecture.
The museum presents furniture of the last century, dishes, clothes, and what books are in the library - it's just beyond words! I just want to open the closet door and immerse myself in history ...
and I definitely advise you to take a guide. It seems that you know a lot from history, but you will definitely discover many interesting facts and stories from the life of princes.
Be sure to visit the palace, appreciate the flavor of art!!!

A gorgeous palace. Huge rooms, interesting compositions, you can visit all the halls, including the tower with 4 floors. On the 4th floor there is an exhibition of clay products and wood carvings. You will be in Gomel, do not pass by, not necessarily with an excursion, even without walking through the halls is a pleasure. The park area around the palace complex also deserves attention. Churches, adjacent embankment...

Must-visit! It is very beautiful, there are a lot of exhibits, those that we have not even seen, although we often visit museums.
The interior decoration, architecture, everything is very beautiful and rich, the pillared hall has marble columns with a golden frame.
Inside, so far, everyone has walked around and wound 3 km.
I left this place for last, but it so happened that we visited it first and did not regret it, we really liked it, we were pleasantly surprised. We were in December, but we saw a squirrel)

Beautiful and rich architecture, a lot of paintings, statuettes, books. Large halls, a pillared hall, a winter garden. It was very interesting for me to see the greatness of the past! With a single ticket or certificate, you can visit: the palace itself, the observation tower and the winter garden. To get to the tomb, you need to arrange in advance by phone.

The brightest example of architecture of the late 18th century. Located on a hill above the Sozh River, wrapped in a shady park, the palace is the pearl of the city of Gomel. In the numerous halls you will get acquainted not only with the history of the aristocrats who lived in it, but also with the history of Gomel region. A place worth visiting!
Note to the museum: install climate control systems in all halls!

An interesting exposition, friendly caretakers, who, due to the absence of guides, themselves suggest and tell a lot. There is a very beautiful park around. A convenient certificate system, when you can visit all branches of the museum on different days.
But the cash register in the basement is very problematic. It's stuffy there, it's a deep descent. I am disabled, it has become a problem for me. Plus a very loud-talking and annoying employee of the cash register. In general, the cash register is the only drawback.

My visit to the palace took place on 07.09.24. I will immediately say about the park area, since for me it is much more important than all the riches and decorations. The territory is huge, you can make friends with the squirrels who live here. A large number of shops, fantan. The palace itself certainly impresses with its scale and architecture. A lot of exhibits have been collected . I recommend visiting the palace and immerse yourself in the era, it's worth it.

The most beautiful landmark of the city! Wonderful staff, you can book a guide (in advance!) or take an audio guide for 1.5 rubles (many people listen without headphones, which is VERY annoying, but it is also allowed)+ entrance ticket is 8 rubles. A large area of museum rooms, authentic exhibits.
There is a park around the palace where squirrels run, and from above there is a beautiful view of the embankment of the Sozh River. Definitely worth a visit!

It's beautiful, worth a visit, but the interior decoration could have been done much neater. There are rooms where it was possible to restore the ceiling finish from the photo, but for some reason they went the easy way and "restored" very far from the original...Why rush it....there is a beautiful view from the observation Tower, but it is better to come to it in advance and in the morning, it is not so hot and there will be no queue (4-5 people are launched in half an hour)

Gomel Palace is a magnificent historical and architectural monument associated with the names of famous people of the Russian Empire, a wonderful museum in a park on the banks of the Sozh River. We got acquainted with the complex for two days, bought a gift certificate to enter and visit. We examined all the available objects and expositions of the museum with great interest. I really liked the palace library. She made a special impression. The palace is well restored, kept in perfect order, the museum is well organized, the staff is polite, friendly, pleasant to communicate with. We were very pleased with the visit to the palace museum.

A beautiful palace in a beautiful park and on the high bank of the Sozh River, everything is written about it in Wikipedia. Personally, I really enjoyed the walk, with a sequential visit to all the museums, including the palace. Inside the palace there is a modern restoration, there are interesting interiors and exhibits. We took an audio guide, it's convenient. But in my opinion, a careful inspection from the outside is quite enough. Drinking coffee and having a snack in winter did not work anywhere - neither in the palace nor in the park, they did not see kavyaren. The museum has a fairly clean toilet, and there is also a WC in the park. The nearest parking is 300 meters away, the train station is a couple of kilometers away.

The museum will be interesting only with a guided tour. So you'll walk around just to get around everything. Take at least an audio guide, it costs a penny. He will help you to look at the exhibits in more detail and thoughtfully. You can get a certificate for 20 rubles. A visit for two to the museum, a winter garden with plants, and an observation tower. It is valid until the end of the year and if you did not have time to see something, you can use the same ticket another time.
The museum has a storage room for backpacks and bags. A good toilet.

It's really worth a trip there. The guides are very pleasant and explain it in an interesting way. There is a very interesting story behind this palace, which they will tell you there. The arrangement in the courtyard is simply wonderful, but it is a pity that little has been preserved since those times. Before visiting the circus in Gomel, we visited the park and the museum. The tour of the museum was short. Interior. The surroundings are impressive. Antiques, clothes, dishes - everything smacks of antiquity and fascinates. Portraits of figures of that era were to be seen in paintings and illustrations. The guide behaved somewhat chaotically, jumping from one exhibit to another, and then returning back. Someone started a rumor that it was possible to climb the tower. Several old ladies, according to them, cosmonauts, with a pressure of 120 over 240, and with them I took the bait and began to climb the tower. What was our indignation when the entrance to the tower was locked on the upper landing. You can't make fun of old people like that, gentlemen guides! The impression of the tour was blurred by this incident.

It's worth a visit. Especially with an excursion - but you need to fit in in advance, in the summer it takes up to two weeks. The groups are small. There is an audio guide, which is also interesting, but the guide tells more than the other. With the audio guide, then we went again in quiet mode already. And the guide did not take us to the tower, only the lower floors.
There is a conference room, which is used exactly like this now, there is a gallery of portraits of honored natives of this land. Their number and biographies are impressive. Even just for the sake of this hall, it would be worth going. But the palace itself is beautiful (we are residents of St. Petersburg, we have seen a lot, there is something to compare it with). If you are not looking for special artifacts and original things (there are few of them here), it is worth going for the sake of getting to know the history of the families that greatly influenced the local places, and aesthetic pleasure.

You can walk around the palace and park complex all day long!
A lot of interesting locations, unexpected terrain, proximity to a well-maintained embankment, an abundance of cafes and the presence of attractions - will not let you get bored. You can take a great variety of photos! For walks with the whole family, for lovers, for friends, for companies, for work teams and excursions - this place is just great!
The exposition of the palace itself is diverse, the staff is friendly, and the audio guide (for just a ruble) will tell you about each exhibit in full. A live guide is even more interesting!
