I came to this optics salon because I needed glasses. We picked up a frame that suited both the price and the quality. I visited an optometrist in order to check my eyesight, to make lenses. Because I was limited in time, I directly asked if they would have time to do it. They replied that they would be in time. As a result, the cheapest lens was supplied, uncoated. Moreover, the refinement does not correspond to the stated one. Although I asked them, if there are overlays and you do not have time to do it properly in 1 day, I will only buy a frame. But no, the dealers decided to "sell" the illiquid.
The last straw was to hear from the manager, "well, we don't know what the lenses on the glasses will look like" - this is the height of unprofessionalism.

I did not expect such a scoop, as in the salon on Independence Ave., 16 in 2024 for my money in the center of Minsk.
I went to make new lenses and check my eyesight at the same time. I've been wearing lenses for 15 years now, I buy them in pharmacies or from ophthalmologists, when I periodically check my eyesight, I've been in this salon once or twice, they calmly checked my eyesight, made lenses and even glasses.
This time, the doctor asked me what lenses I was wearing, I said Bausch and Lomb (although I wore and tried many, but I remember these). And a tirade began for a couple of minutes that this was an outdated model, now they don't produce / sell such models anymore. What bad lenses they are, they've been outdated for 20 years. It's strange, of course, that I started wearing lenses about 15 years ago and ophthalmologists offered them, but they turned out to be outdated for 20 years. But okay, whatever you say, I don't understand, I need new lenses. I asked if it was possible to have lenses for 3 months, and not for 1 month, and the portal to hell opened again, that no one does such things now, they are done for 1 month and again chatter for a couple of minutes. I just couldn't stand it anymore and asked, "I just need to make lenses without this mentoring." I would just get up and leave, but I had already washed my hands, took off and threw away my old lenses, I didn't want to go blindly home or to the pharmacy and ask for lenses there. The doctor did look at my eyesight, but could not resist commenting, saying: "You do not listen to what they tell you on Chinese websites." I may not know much about lenses, but I know for sure that you only need to buy them in pharmacies or from ophthalmologists. Where does the doctor get such a strange projection from, apparently judging by himself, because her professional ethics are clearly Aliexpress. Then I received a batch of aggressive comments about lens fluids, that the ones I use are also outdated (but surprisingly not all of them). And the doctor finalised everything with the phrase that Baush and Lomb would not be sold to me. Actually, I came with a request to check my eyesight and make new lenses. I also told the doctor that I was getting worse at seeing up close and reading small print, although I have myopia. And that they told me something about my eyesight? Did you give recommendations? Did you suggest or recommend an in-depth examination? No, nothing. But they provided an angry tirade about the quality of the lenses, which they did not ask about. I washed my hands for longer than the doctor checked my eyesight. And the cherry on the cake, the Bausch and Lomb lenses are on display next to the ones they sold me.

I agree with the enthusiastic reviews of other users! Professional, attentive, friendly optics staff at Independence, 16! I ordered glasses with progressive glass. Consultant Irina helped with the selection of frames, the doctor perfectly selected such complex lenses! I can say that despite my fears, I got used to these glasses for no more than 2 hours. I've been wearing it for the third month and I'm enjoying it! Today we picked up a frame and lenses for a teenage daughter! She is delighted with the frame. Terrible service. The store staff greets you with a dissatisfied look, the doctor first serves his own, and then casually asks what you need and why. I just had to check my eyesight and prescribe lenses for working at the computer and for driving. The lenses were prescribed, they were convinced that simple ones were better, apparently multifocal ones were not available, but something had to be sold. The result is headaches and I can't work at the computer.

Independence, 16 is a pretentious salon, the staff of which is aimed not at solving the client's problems, but at maximizing the money. It is difficult for me to choose lenses because of the large gap between the eyes, so I really appreciate those that at least do not hurt my head.I asked to put these lenses of mine in a different frame - the staff did not even make an elementary attempt to help pick up something, immediately offering new orders. Everything is clear, the time is like this, I want to make the most of it, but...It's disgusting.It's good that not all salons and staff are like this in this network.I wish them well and good health
