It's okay in rainy day to spent some hours. Nice old books and carpets. Quite halls and interesting notations

We decided to visit this museum on a rainy morning. What can nomadic peoples imagine who cannot be portrayed as humans? Carpets, weapons and books, the exhibition is located in the building that belonged to Ibrahim Pasha, there is also a balcony on which he played the violin. I liked the museum as a whole, I was surprised by the size of the korans, the elegance of the calligraphy, the silver shoes and the details of the map of Istanbul presented on the carpet, and I learned something new for myself. By the way, there is a special room where the Muslim shrine of hair from the beard of the Prophet Muhammad is kept.

I liked the museum. Admission is 17 euros on May 2, 2026. The audio guide is not included in the price. There were no queues. It was comfortable to walk around it and be impressed by the antique carpets and calligraphy. The information was Googled independently.
