Visiting the Sharjah Maritime Museum was a real discovery for our family. The museum's exposition tells in detail the history of the development of the United Arab Emirates, starting from ancient times, when the locals were engaged in fishing and a nomadic lifestyle, and ending with the modern period of prosperity and progress. Of particular interest were exhibits demonstrating traditional methods of pearl fishing and marine fishing, as well as models of antique ships and tools. The museum allows you to plunge into the atmosphere of the past and better understand the cultural roots of the modern state. Anyone interested in the history and culture of the region is definitely recommended to visit the Maritime Museum.

We came here after the Sharjah Aquarium. The museum is small, but interesting. You can subtract a lot of internals if, of course, you speak English. Beautiful models of old ships and ships.
