Visiting the Sharjah Maritime Museum was a real discovery for our family. The museum's exposition tells in detail the history of the development of the United Arab Emirates, starting from ancient times, when the locals were engaged in fishing and a nomadic lifestyle, and ending with the modern period of prosperity and progress. Of particular interest were exhibits demonstrating traditional methods of pearl fishing and marine fishing, as well as models of antique ships and tools. The museum allows you to plunge into the atmosphere of the past and better understand the cultural roots of the modern state. Anyone interested in the history and culture of the region is definitely recommended to visit the Maritime Museum.

The museum looks very modern from the outside, but inside it looks like you're going back several centuries. the inscriptions are in Arabic and English. We really liked it, we recommend you to visit, because tickets to the aquarium nearby allow you to visit this museum for free. The museum has a toilet, air conditioning

Admission to the museum is by ticket to the aquarium. The story of fishermen and pearl fishermen. Lots of different inventory. A small museum, interesting. It seems to me that the children will not get tired of this and the parents will be interested.

We came here after the Sharjah Aquarium. The museum is small, but interesting. You can subtract a lot of internals if, of course, you speak English. Beautiful models of old ships and ships.

I put 4 stars, in general, the place is rather boring for those who are not interested, but since it is included in the visit to the aquarium (one shared ticket), you can go in, you can find something to see) something will even interest you) Since the hall is small, it will take about half an hour on average to visit

The museum is small, inside there are models of boats, small ships, the history of fishing, pearls. There is a life-size ship. I wouldn't go to the museum purely because of this. But there is a single ticket to the museum and the Aquarium. The aquarium is small but interesting.

One ticket to the aquarium and the Museum of History. Everything goes slowly together in 40 minutes, small buildings and pools. It's beautifully done, and it's worth visiting with children if you have time. The entry is 25 dirhams, which corresponds to

The Museum of History is next to the aquarium. Beautiful and interesting. The museum presents ships, nets, the history of pearl mining, the history of how people lived and what they used to do. The museum is small. I advise you to visit.

Interesting. There is a Wi-Fi connection, so everything is clear with the translator. It's small in size. The ticket price is $7.

A good educational place to visit with children. A huge plus is that there is a single ticket with the Sharjah aquarium, which stands opposite, the money is very small, unlike the same institution in Dubai, only much quieter and near a good beach, I recommend it!

We really liked the sea too. View the development of shipbuilding. The sea itself is generally beautiful, the sharks are impressive

It's a wonderful chamber museum. A big plus is that the ticket price also includes passage to the aquarium. If you don't know English, then Yandex Translator will help you. I enjoyed reading about various types of boats and small vessels, as well as the history of pearl mining.

This museum consists of exhibits related to pearl mining and fishing. There are models and parts of ships, tools for creating boats, descriptions and exhibits on the extraction and sale of pearls. We passed it in 20 minutes, because we were in a hurry, but you can linger, especially if you read the signs) All information is in English, the ticket is the same as the neighboring aquarium, so you do not have to buy it again.

A small but interesting museum. The ticket here was simply taken along with the ticket to the Sharjah Aquarium - and now it has fully justified itself (for example, compared to Dubai). There is also a great playground next to the museum.

Small, but very colorful. It will be interesting for both children and adults. There are many objects dedicated to pearl mining. It's cool, the ticket is inexpensive. The only way to get there, in my opinion, is by taxi

The museum is not big, but it makes an impression. There are basically all the interesting marine life, arranged in the form of aquariums with hiking in different places, i.e. you can see a certain point from different places. Do you want to see stingrays, sharks, crabs (they are beautiful) Then here you go. By the way, an interesting addition is that passage there is free for pensioners and one accompanying person. Go if you're in Sharjah, you won't regret it.

The museum is about ships, cool, but not everyone will come in, there are few boats and ships. It takes literally 35-45 minutes (if you watch each exhibit for 5 minutes)

spacious and cool. Smaller than a similar museum in Istanbul. It hardly deserves a separate visit, but coupled with a visit to the aquarium, it was nice to walk and look at the ships and history.

Most of the exhibits are wooden boats, replicas of ships on which they sailed and fished, and carried bidouine goods. It's amazing where the wood for building ships goes in the desert.
