Comfortable rooms. Delicious and varied food. The rooms are well cleaned. No walking areas nearby. The shuttle to the beach is poorly organized. The bay where the shuttle is located is dirty. The hotel is fine for a business trip. I wouldn't recommend it for a beach vacation.

We’ve been staying at the end of April. Clean rooms, good service. I’d give 4* The buffet had a big variety of dishes at any taste. But it’s better to come until 8 pm, otherwise you’ll meet some dishes cold. The bathroom had problems with hot water, we had to wait 5-7 mins till it’s warm/hot.

I really liked everything, the gorgeous view from the window, which has beautiful sunrises in the morning, a cozy and large hall, there are always cold drinks in the lobby that you can drink, as well as a hot drink with dates. The room is bright and cozy, with a large bathroom, daily cleaning, everything is always clean and beautiful, there is always water.I would like to pay special attention to nutrition. There is a very large and varied selection of food for breakfast and dinner, it is not necessary to come early for fear of going without food, food is always reported, which I consider very important. There is a scheduled transfer from the hotel to the beach (you can also take pool towels and a mat to the beach), there are also transfers to other destinations, 10 minutes from the metro is very convenient, there are many supermarkets nearby) The children spent all their free time in the pool, despite the cool wind in the evenings, the water is always heated, and there is a terrace nearby where you can order drinks for a fee. We 've seen so much beauty and there are plans to see more . We would like to say a special thanks to the restaurant employee named Sagar, drinks are not included at dinner, only water, Sagar always went to the meeting and brought the drinks that we asked for, other waiters could refuse. We booked on the official website in August for the new year at the flexible tariff without prepayment, a week before arrival, letters began to arrive demanding prepayment - we had a fight at the Rotana central office, settled in without prepayment. It takes 10-15 minutes on foot from the Internet City metro station, the bus stop to the Emirates Mall is much closer, the bus takes 30 minutes. The hotel has 2 towers, a swimming pool between them, it is mostly in the shade, the sun appears around 11 a.m. on the far side of the pool. Sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi are included, children are not allowed in them, I liked only the sauna. Towels are given out by the pool, given to the beach with you, + they give you a nice big beach mat and an umbrella (an umbrella is heavy, they didn't take it). The breakfasts are great, there are fresh vegetables and salad, watermelon, melon, pancakes and waffles are baked, there is a nutella type sauce, there is no condensed milk, there is hummus, ful, all good cheeses, 2 types of sausages, sausages, fish nuggets. Coffee from the coffee machine and filter, good. There's a lot of smoke in the bar. The room was twin, and it was easy to sleep in each bed together. Magnificent panoramic view of the city with the capture of the Burj Khalifa. There was a shower and a bathroom, everything worked, they gave bathrobes and slippers. We stayed at the hotel from 02.01.2026 to 09.01.2026 The hotel: although not new, everything is functionally excellent! The beds and pillows are cool too. I really liked the friendly attitude of the staff. Due to the late departure, we thought to extend our stay for one day, for an additional fee, we approached the reception with this question (by the way, about 1/3 of the staff speaks Russian) and our check-out was extended free of charge until 15:00, thanks to this we managed to go to the cinema on Avatar 3 in IMAX in the morning (in the Mall of the Emirates). Then we rented a room and came to have lunch at our hotel for an additional fee (we didn't want to spoil the impression of the trip with street food), and they gave us a 20% discount for lunch. Moreover, they offered both the discount and the extension themselves, we did not ask for it. ✅ Food: wonderful! We went to breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is very good, but every day is the same, but dinner is just a fairy tale: there are seven meat dishes alone, and every day there is something new, in general, 5+ meals. Location: very convenient, 12 minutes walk to the metro, and the area is very pleasant (hotels in new modern buildings). Dubai Marina is nearby (we went to the drone show), and the center is also not very far by metro. The sea in January: on the first day we went to the nearest beach at Dubai Marina, but there are a lot of people there, it's scary to leave things unattended, and the water is cloudy. Therefore, the next day we took the subway to Mall of the Emirates, and then by bus to Kite Beach, which is marked on Yandex maps. The breakfasts are great and the dinner is beyond praise and the rolls ( very tasty ) and seafood , cuisines of the peoples of the world , juices , tea , coffee , but this is only for breakfast . Dinner is served with water and a drink by the waiter ( cola, juice ) . Hassan, the chief manager of the accommodation service, thanks a lot for the individual approach. On the day of the tour, he helped with the transfer of meals to another day (usually only during the day). The pool is very pleasant and clean. In general, the staff is sooo trying. Thanks . It 's a 7-minute walk to the metro along a pleasant road . It's just a pity that the windows don't open in the hotel, but it's 90% everywhere in the skyscrapers there.

There are transfers that will take you to the beach and back for free, as well as to Malls ! The service is very good, there is a Russian-speaking staff, polite and always trying to help, room cleaning every day, they also informed us about our flight back ( all information). I also liked the infrastructure around the hotel, everything is beautiful, skyscrapers, easy access to the subway and all the sights in a couple of stops. The rooms were cleaned every day, towels were changed, and 6 bottles of 0.5 liters of water were brought every day. Tea, coffee, cream, and sugar were renewed. We flew to Dubai in September and rented rooms at this hotel. We were checked in before lunch. The room itself is amazing, very comfortable. Our room was serviced every day by a wonderful girl Asmita, it was always clean and smelled nice, as well as supplies of tea, coffee and bottled water, there was always plenty. The Channels Buffet restaurant has a lot of hot dishes, salads and desserts to choose from (very tasty). The package included breakfast and lunch (it could be exchanged for dinner). Eating twice a day was enough for us. The hotel has a terrace with a swimming pool, we went swimming there every evening. The trip fell on my birthday, and it was a nice gift from the hotel. There is a free shuttle service to the Marina beach (an umbrella and towel are provided from the hotel) and to many shopping centers. The metro is located nearby, as well as supermarkets around. We had a rest with my son at the hotel in August 2025. We were greeted very politely from the doorway. True, there was no Russian-speaking staff at the reception on the day of check-in, but I know English well, it was not a problem for me. And the next day, there was a nice Russian-speaking young man on shift. I helped you understand where the currency exchange is. Accordingly, it is within walking distance, as well as a number of shops and pharmacies in the Barsha Heights area, where the Media Rotana Hotel is actually located. We had an all-inclusive system (not to be confused with the all-inclusive Software, there are no alcoholic beverages). But in the UAE it works a little differently, when visiting any restaurant and ala-kart, including the pool bar on the 3rd floor, they ask for the room number and ask to sign the check. This is normal. Hotels have different food systems for all. We got used to it later. The room was on the 21st floor, with a magnificent view of the city, the High-way, Down Tyne and Bursha Khaliv proper were visible on the horizon. Especially a great view in the evening in the lights!! There is a shuttle service to the sea from the hotel, but we got up early and took a taxi there and back around 1200 rubles. It's hot in August. But in the morning the sea was divinely pleasant, warm and generally salty, the Persian Gulf. We really liked the hotel! We stayed for 8 nights in early May, and we liked the standard suite itself, the breakfasts, the pool, the staff, and the location. The room is spacious, two-room, 2 bathrooms, there was enough room for a family of 2 adults and 2 children to comfortably accommodate. You can watch YouTube on a large TV connected to the Internet in each room. There are many foreign TV channels, but no Russian channels. The room has everything you need - an iron, ironing board, safe, refrigerator, toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers. The large bathroom has a bathtub and a shower stall, as well as a bidet. There is a fairly large selection of food at breakfast, the children really liked the freshly baked waffles with nutella, the cook makes delicious omelets with you, a huge selection of different cheeses, turkey bacon, delicious airy croissants of two types, etc. Orange juice is very similar to freshly squeezed. The assortment is the same almost every day, sometimes only small changes. You can eat at two restaurants, Channel and Prego's, we only went to Prego's. The pool is very warm and is open from early morning until 10 pm. Towels in a bag and a beach umbrella are provided for the beach, which is very convenient! There is a free transfer to the JBR beach 3 times a day, a transfer to the Mall of the Emirates and another shopping center. Dubai Internet City Metro Station is a 10-minute walk away. There is also a large Carrefour store nearby, a 7-minute walk away, a McDonald's in 15 minutes, and a Burger King near the subway. Regarding the number: - underwear and swimwear do not dry well (there are no heated towel rails); - there was an old hair dryer in the room that did not heat the air, but I asked to change it and it was changed the second time): - cold water drains for a very long time, just for a few minutes, it's a little annoying, standing and freezing in the shower; - it's a strange system with sockets - there are only 3 European ones in the room, and there is no outlet under the desk in the living room, so my son had to study online on a laptop in our bedroom, I guess we could have asked for an adapter, but we didn't, and the sockets are turned off by switches on the walls, but which ones exactly you have to find out only by tapping (if you leave your phone charging like this, it won't charge if you don't check); - the air conditioning system is very loud, but this is not only a disadvantage, but also a plus, which is that it practically drowns out the disco, which thunders for up to 24 hours by the pool (our windows overlooked the pool). 2. The room service is generally good, they brought a lot of water (1 liter per person), but at first, for some reason, they did not give linen for one child (they asked for it - they brought it quickly). Sometimes they forgot to put earwigs or small towels (but if they called, they would bring everything without question). 3. For some reason, teaspoons were not always on the tables at breakfast at Prego's restaurant, but they are not publicly available. If you ask, they bring it. I traced where they were and began to take them out of the drawer myself. It's the same with napkins. Tables don't always have time to be fully served, cups may not be placed or cloth napkins may not be placed, a dessert fork may be placed instead of the usual one, but in general it wasn't critical for us. 4. At the pool at 7.30 am, all the sun beds are already occupied, as a rule, people begin to settle in the bar area, there are not enough umbrellas by the pool for everyone. It's a similar story with umbrellas for the beach - they start to be disassembled at 7 a.m. and by 9 a.m. they're gone. For a free transfer to the beach, you need to arrive strongly in advance - preferably 20-25 minutes in advance, otherwise there is a risk of not getting there. On the transfer to the beach, the crowds and the carnage! At the same time, if you went to the beach in the morning, you may not get on the bus to the beach in the evening! I didn't really like the JBR beach itself either - there were a lot of people, the shower was paid, and there were crowds in the locker rooms. From this beach, you can return to the hotel by public transport (by tram and metro), also in half an hour. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, we would come to this hotel again!
