Nice hotel. They are fed properly. The service is on top! We were pleased with free tickets to the water park with a transfer. Of the minuses: the sea and swimming pools are "closed" early, the mini water park in the children's center did not work ((By the way, the children's center itself works perfectly! The children tried to get there before they had finished their lunch. Special thanks to the team of the children's center: Denis, Karina, Katya, Madina and Nastya.

We have been to the hotel twice (December 2022, February 2023).
The most important thing you need to know about this hotel is that you will not get a luxury vacation, which you expect for such money and with the name Rixos.
The only (and certainly) big plus of the hotel is a children's club.
The rooms are outdated, they are cleaned very poorly (the table near the bed has not been wiped once in a week).
When checking in on the first day, they requested a replacement room, because in the 1st building (where the main reception is) the rooms are even more tired than in the 2nd.
The food is the same every day, there is zero variety. Plus, she's pretty mediocre.
Another small plus in the piggy bank is the staff: female assistants and employees of the bar by the far pool.
Summarizing all of the above, it would be a great hotel if it cost 100k a week, and not as much as it costs now.

There are a lot of reviews about Rixos The Palm Dubai, and it's not easy to add something else to the useful information already available in them. But I really want to share my impressions.
And the impressions came out mixed. We (a family with two children) arrived in Dubai in the afternoon, and got to the hotel only about six o'clock in the evening. And no one greeted us with welcome drinks anymore, which is a shame. The whole check-in process took about an hour, of which we waited in the lobby for almost half an hour until the room was prepared, or something else. Considering that the room was guaranteed to be ready for lunch, it is completely unclear what we were hatching. The children, tired from the road, who were not even given a drink, did not appreciate it. It was also necessary to make a deposit for accommodation, in the amount of 500 dirhams, which, again, took some time. If the hotel operates on the AI system, then, probably, you can not take a deposit. Also, the local tourist tax is paid additionally upon eviction, although it is not at all clear what prevents it from being immediately included in the cost of living, as the vast majority of hotels around the planet do.
We lived in a TWO BEDROOM FAMILY SUITE, in the third building, which, I read somewhere, is also called family. The building is not real, empty, uninhabited. When you enter the building, it feels like you are moving into a new apartment after the first renovation. There is no energy. There is a lot of space, but it is not filled with anything. This also applies to the number. It is big, probably even huge (250 sq.m.). But also empty. It's hard to put into words, you need to feel it. There is no alcohol in the mini bars. It seems to be nothing terrible, but for a hotel that declares to itself that it is "the only one in Dubai operating on the UAI system", it looks somewhat strange. Some kind of not real UAI. If the price were one and a half times lower, I would forgive, but the price is not lower.
The Internet in the room is 19/16 Mbit - not the fastest, but quite sufficient. From Russian channels there are: TNT, Russian music box, Euro news, Cartoon, TVN. In winter, the climate control does not work and it was cool in the evenings. There are no complaints about the cleaning of the room and its equipment (bathrobes, slippers, safe, ironing board with iron, washing accessories, etc.), everything is on the level.
Of the buffets, we liked Turquoise more, located near our building. A La Turca, in the main building, although it even has a small children's playroom, looks simpler. A pair of accent accessories will definitely not hurt him. From a la carte restaurants, we visited the seafood Aqua and the Italian L'Olivo. I liked both of them on the menu. According to the interior, L'Olivo, again, resembled a large dining room. I'm sorry, I can't do anything about my own feelings! If someone does not agree, I ask you to write them off on the subjectivity of perception of the surrounding world. In general, a good interior designer will not hurt the Rixos The Palm Dubai hotel.
In general, the food is at quite a decent level, it is difficult to wish for something else besides what is offered. A large selection of drinks, including alcoholic. I counted 9 types of one beer. Of the paid services, I was surprised by the cost of a hookah: "shisha" at a price from 150 to 350 AED (this is 100 of our American dollars, however). For a world where no one drinks, but everyone smokes, the price tag is not the most humane. A week later, for example, I ordered a hookah in the Maldives for $ 40, with all taxes there, in a very decent hotel.
The children liked the Rixy Club, there are no complaints here. Games, activities – not bad. The children were even taken somewhere to cook real Japanese rolls. I tried it, I liked it. Almost all employees of the club are Russian-speaking.
I also liked the work of personal assistants. We had Victoria and Nazgul. They sent us various useful information via WhatsApp and answered our questions. Also, the girls in shifts, from 7.00 to 23.00, with some absences, were almost always at the workplace at the entrance to the building. We had few questions, mainly about transfers, which we organized through the concierge service of the hotel, but all of them were promptly resolved.
Speaking of transfers. If anyone is interested, then a Lexus ride to Burj Khalifa and back cost us 360 dirhams. The driver was polite, gave us his business card, kept in touch with us and took us back to the hotel at a convenient time for us. We went to the Motiongate amusement park for 620 dirhams, on GMC Yukon. It was possible to go for 570, in the same Lexus. But we chose additional comfort.
The hotel offers a free shuttle service and a visit to the water park at the Atlantis Hotel, which is a five-minute drive away. Rixos doesn't have its own "Land of Legends" in Dubai, but the guys keep the brand, well done. And there is also a free transfer to the Mall of the Emirates, and this may be useful to someone.
In general, I repeat, all my feelings were mixed up in this hotel. I am not ready to recommend it if you are going to Dubai for a real "luxury" persistently, but I will not blaspheme and dislike.

We had a rest in August 2022. The hotel is nice, the beach, the bay is clean. There is no organization for the issuance of beach towels. 20-30 minutes, or even longer, you wait for an employee to come up and ask what is needed, you can not wait. You can't wait for drinks on the beach either. The work of the beach staff is worse than in 3-star hotels. The service is like in Turkey, they won't move without tips, there is no Emirati hospitality.
