We stayed at this hotel in February 2026. It's a lovely hotel. Yes, it's on a palm tree and its location allows you not to see the buildings, the skyscrapers are too close. Well-trained staff. Good service. Large rooms are equipped with everything you need. We arrived a little earlier, we were checked in, and breakfast was offered. The beach is well organized. The guys are helping to find deck chairs. They bring water. The sand and the entrance to the water are perfectly cleaned. Children can safely do it. And in general, the hotel is very well organized for those with children. There is an animation. The game area. A very good choice of food for children. Excellent restaurants with a very diverse cuisine. There is a separate quiet area for those who don't like children's screams. A bleached-out pool, sun beds on the beach, a beach restaurant. We had a rest from August 24 to September 2, and came for a birthday party. We arrived at the hotel at 10 a.m., we were checked in almost immediately, they didn't ask anything about the deposit, it's optional here. There are few Russians, as they don't know much about this hotel, mostly Europeans. 3 people from the staff know Russian. The room was clean, there was cleaning twice a day, there was a welcome plate, they brought a compliment in the form of a birthday cake, and they also brought a small set of sweets in honor of the departure. The service level is excellent, towels will be laid out on the beach, ice water will be brought, cold towels are distributed and sunglasses are cleaned. In terms of food — we took breakfasts and dinners, dinner can be changed to lunch, the food is varied, there is a different cuisine for dinner every day, they sit at the table, there is no jostling for food, everything is civilized)) There is a shuttle service to the Dubai Mall and the Atlantis Water Park from the hotel, as well as to the Emirates Mall. The towel is changed 2-3 times a day. There is plenty of bottled water in the room. Tea and coffee are replenished every day. The food is delicious in the restaurant, there is no queue. The worst place we've ever stayed in. This hotel is not a 5—star hotel, but a set for a movie about abandoned resorts. All the photos are an outright hoax. In reality, you will find the smell of dampness, dirt, worn-out furniture and the feeling that the hotel is just slowly falling apart while the staff pretends that everything is fine. The room was in a disgusting state: broken air conditioning, empty dispensers, dust, dirty surfaces, carpets with ancient stains and a shower with crumbling plaster. It was just unpleasant to be there. But the real shock is the restaurant. cockroaches. Real live cockroaches running out near the tables during dinner. After that, it's impossible to look at the food anymore. Dirty dishes, the smell of old wet rags, the cheapest and most unappetizing food — the level of a roadside canteen, not a hotel that is trying to sell itself as luxury. The beach looks like it hasn't been cleaned for months: cigarette butts, trash, ants, old dead sun beds. Everything is dirty, tired and neglected. The cleaning was done a couple of times in 5 days. The staff reacted to complaints with the faces of people who absolutely didn't care. Any request turned into an argument and a waste of time. And the payment situation deserves special attention. We have repeatedly received invoices with other people's positions and amounts 2-3 times higher than the real ones. It seemed that the calculation was based on the fact that the guests would not carefully check the documents and would simply sign everything they were given. It's just a shame for a hotel of this level. The most frightening thing is the feeling of complete degradation of the place. It's like the hotel died a long time ago, but it continues to exist solely due to beautiful photos and tourists who haven't had time to read real reviews yet. If you don't want to spoil your vacation, your mood, and your trip experience, never book this hotel.

According to the pictures, I didn't like the hotel. Not an instagramble. the food is great, the territory is compact and everything is there (I was with 4 children aged 3 to 9 years). One of the disadvantages is that it's too cold in the toilet by the pool, any drinks including water were paid for lunch and dinner at full board (for 6 days with almost no alcohol, 3 adult 4 children paid about 4000 dirhams for drinks). There were inflatable slides on the beach (but admission is only for children like 5 or 7 years old), also paid. The rooms are good, the service is very good. Live piano in the lobby in the afternoon and evening.

A great hotel, very tasty breakfasts, dinners (we didn't get to lunch), a great big warm beach, there were crabs, starfish, small squid swam once :) The cleaning is excellent, we were cleaned 2 times a day. 2 large swimming pools, many cafes and restaurants, a spa, a gym. The staff was very friendly, the child was given a toy made of towels and chocolate. There is a Russian-speaking staff at the reception. Check-out is at 12, but since we had a transfer much later, we could leave our luggage in a special room and go swimming.

Where there was dirty tulle, a carpet that already required dry cleaning, old furniture, a pillowcase with a hole. We were asked to change the room, but we were refused, or to pay extra for an improved one. As a result, at the end of the vacation, they offered to move. I would like the issue to be resolved immediately, or it would not happen at all when you come to such a class of hotel. The food was ordinary, delicious, and there was a small selection, but there was always plenty to choose from, even if nothing was found, you could ask to cook. The staff is friendly, cleaned quickly, the service is 5. I didn't really like the beach on palm, there were a lot of shells. We bought an after-sun cream, we didn't look at the release date. We came to the room, opened the package, applied it to the body and began to study the description and instructions. We were surprised by the release date, 2019. The product is already 6 years old. And this is in a five-star hotel, in one of the most expensive resorts in the world. They asked to exchange for a more recent product, but were categorically refused. They say everything is fine, no one complained. I asked the hotel representatives to help me figure out the situation, to which I received a negative response. It turns out their tenants have nothing to do with them. And they don't care about the hotel's image. In general, I left them the cream as a keepsake and $35 too. So draw your own conclusions. Don't repeat our mistakes.

And now it's a muddy territory with a disgusting toilet smell....and a dead renovation, with disgustingly dirty windows… The food is good, but at dinners, paid drinks are so-so. The staff is trying their best, especially the guys by the pool))) and the waiters and cleaners beg for good reviews, sometimes they write to themselves (the cleaner grabbed my child's phone and wrote a review for himself). In general, I'm disappointed in the end, for this money you can go to a much more decent hotel, modern and new.

The Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah Hotel is located on the crescent moon surrounding Palm Jumeirah Island and is positioned as a luxury hotel, on a par with another top LXR brand in the Hilton line. The cost of a night on my dates in rooms without access to the Pearl Club Lounge was 1,662AED. The cost of club rooms with lounge access for two people cost 570AED more and was 2,232AED on my dates. Our arrival was early and we arrived at the hotel before 10 a.m., but to the credit of the hotel, we, as status members of Hilton Honors, were proactively offered early check-in. Upon check-in, the passports of all residents were asked as standard. The payment was made with the Union Pay card of the Russian Standard bank. The next day, the bank was sanctioned and further payments from this card were no longer made. Our standard room, as a Diamond member, was upgraded to the Pearl Club Suite Sea View one day before arrival. The room was located on the 3rd floor and was a standard suite with separate bedroom and living room. In addition, the room had a main (with a bathtub and a shower) and additional bathrooms, a walk-through dressing room and two separate balconies. The living room had a non-folding sofa with a table, a dining/work table with chairs, a TV, a tea area with a kettle and a capsule coffee machine and a minibar with a standard set. The tea was presented by the premium Avantcha brand. The main bathroom was huge, with a massive bathtub in the middle. Transparent partitions between the bathroom, shower, toilet and bedroom can cause certain inconveniences. Cosmetics, unfortunately, within the framework of the latest trends, have been replaced from individual packages to reusable large bottles. The Salvatore Ferragamo brand has also been replaced by (in my opinion) a more budget-friendly, albeit premium, Aesop brand. Breakfasts are served on the Low Ground Floor in the Mezzerie restaurant from 6:30 to 10:30 and are presented with a fairly wide assortment. There are several live stations, including omelet making and an Asian cuisine corner. Pork in the form of bacon, sausages and sliced meat is also presented on a separate counter. Juices in the restaurant are from a bottle, fresh is offered only in the form of a day specialty - an author's mix is prepared every day. Pearl Club Lounge is open from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. It also offers a more modest breakfast than in the restaurant, which starts at 8 a.m., but ends a little later than the restaurant - at 11:00. One of the features of breakfast in the lounge is the presence of a large number of berries. Otherwise, this is a reduced assortment of the restaurant. In addition, in the lounge, as it usually happens, there is Afternoon Tea from 15:00 to 17:00 with small snacks and snacks and evening Happy Hours (cocktail menu from 17:00, snacks (without hot stations) from 18:00). At the same time, children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the lounge after 17:00. The Low Ground Floor has access to the beach, pools and a kids club. There are two pools in the hotel (shared and adult) + a small children's pool, located in the shade near the communal pool. There are sun beds and boars around the pool, which are free and work according to the principles of first come, first served. Ice buckets of water are also brought by the pool and on the beach. However, ice cream, cold towels or Sunscreen Protection Service, as in other hotels of this level (Conrad, St.Regis) were not provided. The beach also has free sunbeds and several paid cabanas with included service. The 200m long beach cannot boast of perfect sand. The entrance to the sea is gradual, the water is warm. Despite the presence of a net, jellyfish were quite common. One of them stung my daughter's leg very badly. There is also an inflatable complex on the beach and many guests think that this is a service included in the price from the hotel, but it turned out that these are the services of a third-party company engaged in water activities on this beach. The hotel has a SPA with a sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi and relaxation rooms free of charge, as well as a full-fledged fitness center. There is also a fairly large children's room with various entertainment for different ages, where children from 4 to 12 years old are accepted. Younger children should only be in the room with their parents. The hotel has several A La Carte restaurants, while the owner of 3 Michelin stars Heinz Beck no longer oversees the Social restaurant. In addition, the hotel offers several free shuttles to local shopping malls, but we did not use this service. In general, we can say that the hotel is good, but there is not the "wow" effect that you expect from a top brand. In addition, the trend in the hotel is in favor of simplifying, reducing the cost and reducing additional services (cheaper and mass-produced cosmetics, simpler drinks, the loss of the Michelin Chef, the lack of pleasant complimentary services offered by competitors in the same segment). Therefore, I would return to this hotel in case of a really favorable offer for the cost of living.

You come to the beach, a special person greets you, takes the towels for you and puts them on the sunbed, opens the umbrella, and when you leave, you don't need to bring them with you and the room, the staff collects everything themselves. Therefore, there are always free sun beds, there is no panic that there will not be enough. Another plus point is for the special staff on the beach, who distribute frozen face towels to wipe themselves in the heat, spray their feet with cool spray, and wipe their glasses.

A wonderful hotel for families with adult children (British and German contingent). Very tasty and varied food. Be sure to visit the Saturday brunch with oysters and lobsters!!! We booked a two-room room with a view of the sea and the Pearl Club (it's worth it, very good alcoholic drinks are served, and sweets are generally a separate story) my children (10 and 13 years old) and I were delighted. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that all the staff speaks only English, so brunch and the shuttle to Dubai can be skipped, they say, only because of ignorance of the language ☹️

A super hotel. Everything is very high-level. The rooms are huge, the renovation is excellent. The staff is very friendly and do everything for the convenience of the guests. The pool is good, there are always plenty of free sunbeds. The beach is quite decent, but for some reason inside the palm tree. The food is good, even coffee is made from a carob coffee machine. (If you ask). There are always a lot of fruits and cuisines of different countries every day.

The hotel is very pleasant, the territory is small, everything is compact, but everything is well maintained. A private beach with a gentle approach, which is convenient for families with children. The food is very tasty and varied. However, if you don't book three meals a day, be prepared to spend about $150 on one lunch/dinner per person. If you take a taxi and go to lunch in the city, then it's a round trip plus a meal, then that's what it comes out. There are no affordable cafes nearby. The hotel is focused on the "plus" level.

A gorgeous hotel. Quite normal breakfasts, clean private beach, high-level service. Very quiet compared to JBR. Anyone who wants complete relaxation will like it. It was especially nice to see animals made of towels in the room.😁😁
