I won't explain these three masterpieces called: Ulug Beg Mmadrasa Sherdor Madrasa Tilla Qori Medrasa One by one. But this square is home to one of the mightiest monument's in the world. Like in giza where famous pyramids are, you feel yourself tiny pice of the universe. All these monument's are must visit attraction and some of the most famous ones in the world. There are visual light shows at nights when the sun sets do not miss it.

Oh my god this was truly the most beautiful place i have ever visited. the buildings are so huge, i could not comprehend that these huge things were built like 700 years ago! its not really crowded which is good. we saw the light show that started at 9:00Pm. amazing show. lasted like 25ish minutes. However i should add that you should maybe do a little bit research about the square before you visit. Unfortunately theres not much information about them inside.

Registan is the place why so many of us foreigners come to Uzbekistan. This is a unique cultural and religious monument. Make sure to get your guide. Right after you purchase and enter the complex, on your right there will be a booth where you can get a guide. A tip would be to test their english. Because some guides speak great english, while others struggle which makes the whole experience unbearable. Also try to visit early in the morning when there are few people. In the evenings the lighting of the complex is majestic and one should certainly get back to see that in the evening. The parking lot is right across the complex.

The historical sites were good to look at. There was nothing else much! Samarkand was a disappointment, all it had was a few madarsah and mausoleums and mosques! I know one should not expect more, but i personally love places where nature at the least is awe inspiring!

The right building is not at the same height as the one on the left (the one on the right is two meters higher). The minarets are leaning, like a copycat of the Pisa tower. C'est mal fait....
