Bad service, poor food and drinks, good location, nice pool but no entertainment

A good 4-star hotel. The large grounds and ocean view room were very spacious for two people. The food in the restaurant is not the most refined, but over time you get used to it and start choosing the most suitable food for yourself. I liked the fruits, these are papaya, guava. Very tasty freshly squeezed juices from them, ice cream. It's a bit noisy in the restaurant, and the noise is created by the workers themselves, loudly folding dishes and throwing forks and spoons, you can't sit for a long time. There is a bar near the pool, they make good rum cocktails. Good beer. This is probably the highest quality alcohol I've ever seen in resort countries. The pool was cleaned every morning, but they didn't swim in it, they went to the ocean. Water and sand are just like in a fairy tale. The water is a little cool in March, although the temperature is 25 degrees. There are sailboats on the beach, free rides along the shore. There is a bar (ranch) near the beach, there is draft beer and sandwiches, you do not need to go far. Animation is entertaining in the evening. The hotel is located near the center, we went for a walk every evening. I liked the Beatles rock bar. The location is convenient, which is what impresses in the first place. The hotel has a shop that accepts MIR cards, and prices are not much different from government stores. Only one elevator works, but it was rarely used, and if the power goes out, you can get stuck in it indefinitely. At the hotel, you can sign up 3 times for an a la carte restaurant, it is better to do this in the first days upon arrival, as there is a queue.

Excellent location of the hotel. Well-maintained, beautiful territory. Pleasing to the eye. With food and drinks, as in other Varadero hotels, it gets better, then worse. There is always fresh fruit) The food in July 2023 was a little more varied than in July 2024. The hotel is modest and requires renovation. The dining room needs better air conditioning, and it's hot at dinners. Maybe they don't fully include it, they save money. The staff is generally good. They respond to requests. However, when checking in, make sure that the remote control, all towels, and glasses are in place. I didn't have any glasses. I didn't really notice it until my friend came to me and asked about them. Thanks to her, otherwise they might have demanded them when checking in. Although no one really checked. This hotel is better than the one next door.
