An interesting historical place, one of the few attractions of Fujairah. A must-visit if you like history. Stock up on water, a hat is required - there is almost nowhere to hide from the scorching sun.

Level 16 Local Expert

Fort of the 16th century. We walked from the beach. It looks very pretty at sunset, as it is located on a small hill, offering beautiful views of the city. It is interesting for children to climb the multi-level steps and narrow passages.

Everything is quite interesting and authentic. But it was not possible to get inside, as some kind of festive concert was being held on the territory. I had to settle for a walk outside and around the neighborhood. Plus, we watched a military band rehearsal and preparations for the concert.
