My visit to the Great Imam Bukhari Mosque was a truly spiritual experience. The mosque is a beautiful and peaceful place, and the atmosphere is very calming. I was particularly impressed by the size and grandeur of the mosque, as well as the intricate details of the architecture. The mosque is also home to the tomb of Imam Bukhari, a highly respected Islamic scholar. I found it to be a very moving experience to visit his tomb and reflect on his life and work. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to the Great Imam Bukhari Mosque. It is a beautiful and peaceful place that is sure to leave a lasting impression

But thanks for the separate Russian-speaking guide, without him and the previously unknown information about the place, it would be unclear. The tours are rushed, although there is something to see. Very modern and cool. For some reason, bus 100 did not go from the city to the mosque.

I would especially like to note the atmosphere inside the mausoleum — it is filled with respect and spirituality. People come here not only as tourists, but also with sincere feelings to honor the memory of the great scientist and find peace of mind. There are also facilities for visitors, including areas for ablution and prayer, which makes the visit as comfortable as possible. In general, the mausoleum of Imam Al-Bukhari is a place where everyone should come. It combines history, culture and deep spirituality. After the visit, there is a feeling of peace, inspiration and gratitude.

Very cool!For me, the most impressive places in Samarkand are Al-Bukhari and Registan.Al Bukhari is outside the city.You can get there either by public transport bus 100 or by taxi.But it's better to order using Yandex (more budget-friendly)80,000 soums approximately there and 52,000 back.

In my opinion, it is the most beautiful place within Samarkand. It's a long way from the city, but it's worth it. You can walk all over the territory, admission is free. It is very similar to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi. A must-visit.

Imam Al-Bukhari Memorial Complex is located about 20 km from Samarkand. Inside is the mausoleum of the same Al-Bukhari, around which the Uzbek version of the Taj Mahal was built in 2025. It looks at least large-scale. But the museum and fountains are not working yet (04/06/2026)

This makes your stay even more comfortable and respectful of the process itself.

It's the most beautiful mosque I've ever seen. It was opened in March 2026 after reconstruction and admired. But I took a taxi back there, it's a problem to call because he asks for a Yandex card due to the fact that the taxi is coming from far away. There is a delicious pilaf cafe behind the fun market.
