The German corner. I didn't know about such a place until they brought me to show it. There's a monument to Kaiser Wilhelm. Something like "the great unifier of Germany." A place at the confluence of two deep-flowing rivers. Symbolic. I was impressed. Scope and monumentality... a memory carved in stone. A wall with an eagle, with a head in the center and wings around the edges. Cool idea.

I was there on 05/11/2025. A great place. Rudesheim is a resort and tourist center. Nice houses. Lots of restaurants. The food is delicious.
