There was not much to see, many things are not restored, just pictures put there of how the mosaics might have looked like. Also it was very much overpriced for foreigners

It's just an incredible place. I walked alone and I don't regret it a bit, you can walk at your own pace and think about your own, calmly admire the palace and make beautiful shots for memory. There is an opportunity to walk with a guide. Dress easily and comfortably, it's too hard in the hot season), stock up on water). The stones breathe such warmth, history and memory that you don't want to leave. And the courtyard next to the hammam is so well-groomed by a beautiful woman, a pistachio is blooming there, it's beautiful, and it's also planted with different flowers by the fountain. An unrealistic connection between the new city of Baku and a historical monument. There are several souvenir shops right inside the museum. I'd like to take another walk)

A place where history lives. Magnificent views of the Old Town. A beautiful little garden with a fountain. I don't want to rush here. I want to sit on a bench in the garden, listen to the fountain whisper, walk tirelessly under the arches of the mausoleum, shoot a million frames with Flaming Towers in the background. The palace itself is centuries-old, built at the highest point of the city. The culture is oriental, inviting, wise. Inside the palace, the situation is clear in a couple of halls, the rest are simple rooms with exhibits. There are halls with finds, books, decorations, and a project to recreate the throne of the Shah. To be honest, I wasn't very impressed with the interior, maybe I should have taken a guide, but overall, the emotions from the palace are great.

A very interesting, well-preserved historical monument and tourist site. Everything is interesting inside the complex: architecture, Arabic script, objects on display at the palace. I advise you to take a guide. We were very lucky to have a super professional guide.

One of the main attractions of the old town. The construction of the palace dates back to the 13th and 16th centuries. Now there is a museum located on 3 sites. The cost of a visit for foreigners is 15 manats, a separate fee for viewing the treasury is 10 manats.

The beautiful castle complex is no worse than in Europe, and somewhere even better. Small in size, you can inspect it without straining and even with small children. I really liked the safety, cleanliness and traditional Azerbaijani hospitality.

I really liked the place! Firstly, the exterior is beautiful, and secondly, there is a collection of historical cultural and everyday objects. We walked all over the territory, went down to the prayer service. We bought a single ticket to three museums, went in and had fun!

To be in Baku and not touch the history... I really wanted to come here, but I had enough impressions, and it's probably more correct to say that I didn't have enough. Maybe it's only worth visiting here for the first and last time. I advise you to visit with a guide, because the exposition is modest and it is difficult to understand and imagine the former power and authority.

Walking around the old town, I wanted to visit the sights, but when I saw the ticket prices for foreign tourists, I felt that it was unjustifiably expensive. There are no such prices on the website, but there is a price list at the ticket office, where for foreigners a visit to one palace costs 24 manats (almost 1100 rubles). For comparison, locals can visit the palace for 5 manats. And so on to all the sights in the old town area. We were also satisfied with the walk through the old part of the city.

It's worth seeing as a historical landmark, but don't count on much. The interior has not been preserved, although it is possible to get an impression of life in those centuries.

Alas, this place is not striking in its wealth. If the shah was modest, then everything was stolen many years ago. Rooms The guide mumbles about the great history of the country But there are very few traces of this story. The price of 20 manats per adult for half-empty halls and a new model is a so-so pleasure. But I repeat, for the first visit to Baku, you can go. To my taste, it is restored from the outside better than it is filled with content inside. According to the exhibits, any Suzdal museum turns around once every 10 years. But the guides tell excellent fairy tales. Children have a place to climb. As they say, these stones breathe history.

The place is of course possibly iconic, there is nothing to see, the price is insane!!! Why they charge so much money for admission to the restored ruins is not clear! If the price was 5 manats, it would still be understandable, but 25 is certainly not worth the money or the time spent!!

There's nothing special. There are no decorations inside. I advise you to just go in and take a picture outside rather than buy a ticket for 15 manats for adult tourists.

The historical structure is the most important historical structure of the region, but after visiting many historical sites in Turkey, of course, this place remains weak in content. There are 3 mausoleums inside, except 1 of the mausoleums is hollow, information about the shirvanshah state and some products are displayed in the main building, there is a large model of the inner city, there are ruins of mosques and old baths, the stone embroideries of the door entrances are nice. There is a shop selling souvenirs in the main building and there is a studio taking souvenir photos at the top of the stairs on the landing in the lower courtyard. It is not necessary to keep expectations high, the entrance fee is 15 manats- I think it is high, navigable

The museum is small, just a fortress. There are almost no exhibits. But this is due to the fact that there have been many conquerors all the time. It's very dark, there are almost no windows. And it's cold.

A beautiful ancient city with narrow streets of the film "The Diamond Hand". The palace itself has been restored, and the main valuables have been taken to England. There are many interesting shops in the old city, their prices are 25-80% more expensive than in the new city and 100-200% more expensive than in remote areas of Baku. Entrance to the old town by car is paid

It's interesting to wander around the rooms, which also have a museum. You can explore the city of Baku in miniature. If you're interested, you can just relax in the courtyard on a bench.

A very beautiful place in the center of the old town. In good weather, it's nice to take a walk, enjoy the views and get acquainted with the history of this city and place. It will not be very convenient with children, because you need to go down a steep staircase to see the entire territory. I definitely recommend you to visit.

Perhaps I just expected more or did not feel the triumph of the moment, or I associate palaces with more luxurious architectural forms)) But the Shirvanshahs apparently did not take up decorating, they thought more about security in the 15th century. But we were friends with geometry: everything is clear and even. It's more of a fortress than a dwelling. Although, again, this is from the point of view of the pampered inhabitant of the metropolis of the 21st century. Once you can check it out, but another time you won't want to. The museum, located in narrow, semi-dark halls and passages, also did not impress with either the exposition or the presentation.

An interesting technique of turns (I heard a piece as the guide told me), the hall where traditional music plays, touched me right to the depths of my soul. A trunk covered with a carpet is very cozy, I wanted to go home so much. The rest is just stones, everything has been stolen there for a long time. All the wealth. If you spend a lot of time in Baku, then of course you can go, but if you don't get there, it's not critical.I went on my own without a guide. It is important to know that there are 3! the yard.

it is a very beautiful atmospheric place, you can freely walk around the palace, enter the mosque and mausoleums - no one is watching beautiful locations in the photo, a wonderful view, and we also accidentally got to the rehearsal of the choir 1000/10 the exposition itself is small, but informative. a ticket for foreigners is expensive, 15 manats, but in general it justifies the price

The views are beautiful from the outside, it looks like Bukhara. I did not go inside, the entrance of 15 manats is too expensive, when there are still bare walls inside, after Uzbekistan and that beauty, there is no desire to come here for such a price, unfortunately.

An interesting place in the heart of old Baku! I am glad that the entrance is free — you can safely enter and enjoy the atmosphere of antiquity. However, be prepared for the high steps at the entrance to the palace, but it's worth it: stone carvings, ancient walls and a quiet courtyard make an impression. It is a good opportunity to touch the history while walking along Icheri Sheher.

A very beautiful museum, many exhibits, beautiful places, etc., yet it is ancient, there is even a courtyard behind the palace where someone died.. skeletons are also present, the great mosque for Shirvanshahs surprised me very much, but it did not rise to the top, I bet 5/5

Building inside the old town. You can enter the city itself for free at any time. The palace is open on schedule from 10-20 seven days a week. The ticket is 15 manat per adult, all other museums and buildings are included. In fact, an hour is enough for your eyes if you are not an expert, but just to take a look. There are souvenir shops, there are no cafes inside.

Well, it's nothing special at all. There are very few exhibits. A couple of carpets, a couple of jewelry, a couple of paintings. Almost all of them are from the 19th and 20th centuries. The palace itself is quite small. The entrance price of 15 manats is greatly overstated

It was a disappointment: the exposition was very sparse, there were no rooms with comfortable living conditions, only a few carpets, a showcase with coins, and empty walls. Just so you know, I didn't even make a single video, because there's just nothing to shoot! And most importantly, the lower rooms, which are shown on all maps, are actually closed to the public. And all this for 20 manats! It's not worth the money! I do not recommend it!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Shirvanshahs' Palace, located in the old city. This place turned out to be not just a beautiful museum, but also a real historical monument that is worth seeing with your own eyes. The first thing to note is the cost of the visit. 15 manats for admission. The palace building itself is a real masterpiece of architecture. Its history goes back to the distant past, and even a small review of its history can take a long time. That is why I would recommend visiting the palace with a guide. This way you can learn more interesting and informative information that will make your visit even more exciting. In general, the Shirvanshahs Palace is a great place for those who are interested in history and architecture. If you ever find yourself in Baku, be sure to visit this museum and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the past! :) Sincerely, Apartments Crown39 Luxury apartments for rent in Kaliningrad

Impressive, cats are greeted at the entrance. In Baku, cats walk freely around the city, slowly going about their business, not paying attention to people and cars. People buy food and feed them. Friendly attitude.
