The Clichy-Batignolles-Martin Luther King Park (Parc Clichy–Batignolles - Martin Luther King) covers an area of 10 hectares (25 acres) and is the largest park in this district and the eighth largest in the city. It was created as part of the éco-quartier Clichy-Batignolles Ecological Quarter project, which transformed 54 hectares of former railway tracks and marshalling yards of the French railway company SNCF, and was opened in stages from 2007 to 2021. The park's name combines references to the historic Porte de Clichy gate, the former Batignolles station, and a tribute to the legacy of civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. The park was designed by landscape architect Jacqueline Osty with the participation of urbanist François Grether and the engineering company OGI, with a key concept based on sustainable development and environmental principles, including the use of plants, rainwater harvesting, solar panels and wind turbines to generate energy, as well as the use of recycled materials for tracks . The park's infrastructure includes a variety of recreational and sports facilities: a skatepark, basketball courts, children's play areas (including swings, sandboxes and modern play complexes), table tennis tables, outdoor lawns for picnics and recreation, as well as a biotope pond that serves as habitat for ducks, ducklings and other representatives of the local fauna. The architectural elements of the park are harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape and include facilities such as a modern belvedere for viewing the territory, pedestrian bridges and installations, as well as buildings, such as the new headquarters of the Paris Department of Public Works. The park is also known for its contribution to biodiversity: various types of trees and plants have been planted here, reed paths and seasonal landscapes have been created, and cherry blossom trees form a picturesque alley in spring. The park is accessible to visitors all year round, and the metro stations Pont Cardinet (line 14) and Porte de Clichy (line 13) are located nearby. It is a popular place among locals and tourists for walks, jogging, picnics and cultural events. Nearby there is a famous student residence and apartment, designer, multi-storey buildings.

I really like him! This is a great park! You can sunbathe there and it's also interesting to walk there! He's the best in the world!

The park is good, but not yet completed, in the process of work. There are many playgrounds, paths for bicycles and scooters. There are ponds.
