Great hotel! We read a lot of contradictory reviews before the trip, but now we have our own opinion: very good breakfasts,comfortable pool water, towels and bathrobes are provided, the view from the room is gorgeous, everything is in the room, hygiene supplies are updated every day , the staff is very attentive and polite, downstairs in the restaurant it's great to drink coffee with a view of the Kaspiy, if we go to Aktau again, we will definitely choose this hotel

Everything is clean. breakfast, swimming pool, shared sauna are included in the room rate.the pool is 8 by 12. breakfast is buffet style, delicious, the food is fresh. the bed linen is clean, ironed, cleaned every day.the only thing is that neither the spa nor the order of food in the room work, because one does not work, the second cannot be reached.The aquarium is not that big, the aquarium is not impressed underfoot, the glass is terrible.The Caspian Riviera is still a business hotel.I would say that this is the city inside the hotel.

The best hotel in the city with a Caspian entourage. On the cliff. A walking trail in the rocks nearby. You take the elevator down from the reception. Very unusual) the pool is seawater and just very friendly.

I did not like the room service for all the time that we were in the hotel, we once vacuumed the carpet, not to mention washing the floors, the pool is generally uncomfortable without sides, it is inconvenient for children to swim and there is no lifeguard in the pool. For some reason, the sauna and hammam are paid, although the hotel is five stars. Breakfasts are generally a poor choice as in three-star hotels and everywhere is dirty. The aquarium was generally closed for repairs, although there was no repair there, stupidly closed. The floor was being renovated, they didn't even cover it with screens, it was dusty. And how such a hotel was awarded five stars is not clear.

The location, the building itself and the view are very good! The aquarium is interesting. The furniture and bed linen with towels are of normal quality, the only thing is that the bed creaks.
A very responsible girl at the reception, works for the whole hotel.
The breakfast is human, there are a lot of vegetables, there is something to choose from. Anything that is more complicated and requires attention (rolls, fish), I would order at another institution.
Which was not very pleasant, the Internet in the room is very weak, and you can't plug in the cable anywhere. My husband needed to work. We asked to solve the problem, it became better to catch, but still, we worked with our fingers crossed.
A solid four, it seems to me.

I read a lot of reviews before the trip, I thought it would be really bad.
But no, it's okay.
The reception was checked in before the agreed time for 2 hours, they did not take the money.
The breakfasts are good. There are, of course, more abundant buffets, but this one is quite good. The only remark is that please service the coffee machine on time. And sometimes it didn't work because of the lack of water or milk :)
The rooms are spacious. We had a city view without a balcony. This is, of course, a minus. But I originally bought these.
They are cleaned regularly, all the necessary things (shampoo, towels, soap, etc.) are replaced and reported regularly too.
Excellent location - close to the center, exactly two steps to the sea. However, there is not much to do in the center, and the sea is cold and the entrance to it is difficult - but this is not the problem of the hotel. The rest of the comparable facilities (Holiday and Renaissance) are located worse, and Rixos is generally out of town.
We haven't tried the hotel restaurant and the bar upstairs, I can't say anything here.
We lived for 8 nights.

Good staff and, most importantly, the best view of the Caspian Sea. And once you leave the hotel, you can walk along the rocky path. And on the 1st floor there is the largest freshwater aquarium with sturgeon in Kazakhstan.
