La Mer beach is half an hour on foot. You can't get to the city, you have to call a taxi. The metro is also accessible by taxi, there is simply no pedestrian road. If I were going to Dubai again, I would choose something closer to the subway. But if you need the sea, then La mer seemed to me the most pleasant beach of all.

This hotel is one big minus. I booked a room through Booking, the photos presented are completely different. They provided a room with one SMALL DIRTY window, the tile in the bathroom is broken, the hanger falls off, the faucet is hanging out, the flush barrel is not clear how it works. The room has all the furniture made of budget chipboard, a bed with a high mattress, but it is VERY hard, laminate flooring, not carpet. I got the impression that you are in the office... There is absolutely no home comfort.. There is absolutely no sound insulation, you can hear very, very much what they are talking about in the next room, as if they are in your room. The trick of our room was the door to the next room. Russian Russian channels are not available on TV, as well as no one speaks Russian at the reception... The transfer to the beach is not very convenient. Check out of the hotel at 11 am and picks up from the beach at 15.30 it's like you need to hang out in the heat for 4 hours!!?? There are no other flights to the beach! There is also a transfer to Dubai Mall at 11h, but you get there on your own. I wonder what to do in this mall at 11 am? Everyone goes there only in the evening. The only plus of this hotel is located 20 minutes walk from La Mer beach. This is probably one of the best public beaches in the city. In general, I absolutely do not recommend checking into this hotel!!!
