The beautiful mosque is made of sandstone, polished in such a way that it feels as if the mosque is made of wood. The first President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islam Kerimov, is buried on the territory. The mosque offers a magnificent view of the Siab Bazaar and the Bibi Khanum Mosque.

The Hazret-Khizr Mosque is one of the most atmospheric and picturesque places in Samarkand, which combines spirituality, history and incredible views. This is one of the oldest mosques in the city, associated with the name of the Prophet Khizr, a saint revered in the Islamic tradition, symbolizing wisdom and eternal life. Due to this, the place has a special spiritual significance, and not only tourists, but also pilgrims often come here. The mosque's architecture impresses with its elegance: carved columns, painted ceilings, bright patterns and harmonious shapes create a sense of lightness and comfort. Everything is made in a traditional oriental style, but it looks very neat and well-groomed. One of the main advantages is the location. The mosque is located on a hill, offering a wonderful panoramic view of the city, especially of Shahi Zinda and the surrounding area. This makes the place especially attractive for relaxing walks and contemplation. The atmosphere here is very quiet and peaceful. I want to stay longer, enjoy the silence, think about important things and just relax my soul. In general, Hazret-Khizr is a place that leaves warm and bright impressions. It harmoniously combines beauty, history and spirituality, making it a must-visit destination in Samarkand.

An interesting architectural ensemble of the mosque stands on a hillock, behind which stretches the fenced territory of the cemetery. The passage around the mosque is uneven, there are narrow paths, stairs, you have to go up and down to go around the perimeter, canopies with benches for visitors to relax in the interior, and there is a panoramic elevator for people with disabilities to climb to the upper landing, because the stairs are quite long and steep. The structure itself has no ancient historical value, so it does not cause any special interest, except that in the courtyard there is a grave in which the first president of Uzbekistan, Karimov I.A., is buried. The place and buildings are in good condition, lawns and trees are well maintained, there is a small park area, in general everything is pleasant the eye. The most interesting thing here is the view of the large historical Bibi Khanum Mosque, which can be seen in the distance behind the Siab Bazaar. And in the opposite direction there is a wide highway between cemeteries to the mausoleum of the prophet Daniel, considered a saint of three religions.

The mosque is distinguished by its unusual architecture, bright colors and decoration of the facade and minarets. The beautiful balcony with carved wooden columns offers a great view of the surrounding attractions: the Bibi Khanum Mosque and the Shahi Zinda complex.

It's a cool place, on the way to all the historical sites, it looks extraordinary, from the outside, there are very steep columns and in general I've never seen anything like it, they tried to get there twice, but it didn't work, but it was enough, a lot of local schoolchildren were brought there, they ran up and asked to speak to them in Russian, because they have an exam coming up, it was all very unusual, it's worth visiting, especially since you definitely won't miss, there's a Shikhov tower nearby, and a fortress across the street

The history of the mosque began in 712 and was briefly suspended in 1220, when the mosque was destroyed during the Mongol conquest by Genghis Khan's army. It was built again after six and a half centuries. In 1854. The mosque complex received its current appearance in 2018, when the mausoleum of the first president of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, was built on its territory. The complex looks very impressive. There is an observation deck on the east side, which offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Old Town...

The place is located at a height as an observation deck. The locals, as in a demonstration, recite prayer among a crowd of tourists, which is very annoying for tourists and does not allow them to see the mosque properly from the inside.

The Hazret Khizr Mosque in Samarkand is one of the most revered and oldest monuments of the city. Built in the 8th century, it has become a symbol of the spiritual heritage of the region. The name of the mosque is associated with the prophet Khizr, who, according to legends, is the patron saint of travelers and those who seek wisdom. We organize individual and group tours so that you can not only see the beauty of the city, but also understand their significance. The Prophet Khizr is considered the patron saint of travelers, so tourists like to visit this mosque. For locals, the grave of the first president of Uzbekistan Karimov is located on the territory of the mosque. Until the 8th century, a Zoroastrian temple was located on this site, then the first mosque appeared. The modern building was built in the 19th century on an old foundation. The mosque is located on a hill, so it offers a beautiful view from above of the Bibi Khanum Mosque, the eastern Siab bazaar and the surrounding area. The area around the mosque is very pleasant for walking, there are many beautiful wooden carved gazebos. It is noticeable that this place is well looked after, there are a lot of guards on the territory.

The Khazarta Khizr Mosque is a classic representative of the architecture of Samarkand. Since the mosque is built on a hill, the view from the ivan is simply gorgeous. The Bibikhanum Mausoleum and the Zhuma mosque are visible in the palm of your hand, so I'm sure there will be a lot of photos. The minaret and facade are decorated with mahogany and brickwork. The mosque is decorated with colorful paintings and carved ganch. The tomb of I. Karimov is located nearby.
