I was very lucky to visit the Louvre! Despite the fact that this is the most popular museum in the world, the queue turned out to be a real surprise — I walked from the entrance outside to the halls in just 30 minutes. I was most impressed by the halls of Ancient Egypt and Greece. There are so many amazing antiquities there: sarcophagi, sphinxes, statues of gods and countless vases — the eyes just ran away. It was also interesting to see an unexpected exhibit — the death mask of Napoleon himself, which is kept in the museum's collection. Of course, I couldn't miss the main stars of the collection: the mysterious Mona Lisa and the beautiful Venus de Milo. Seeing them in person is a completely different feeling than in photographs. The Louvre is huge, but even a short acquaintance with it leaves a lot of impressions!

The Louvre is a treasure trove of world art, where each hall preserves echoes of the centuries-old history of mankind. The greatest museum, where you want to return again, each time discovering something unknown. In the Royal Palace, the spirit of the past centuries comes to life in every exhibit, reminding of the continuity of creativity and human desire for beauty. I recommend buying tickets in advance and setting aside at least half a day to visit, as it is simply impossible to cover the entire wealth of the museum at one time. The Louvre at night acquires a special magic. The glass pyramid creates a symbolic bridge between the past and the present. The light of the lanterns on the square turns it into a crystal flickering with highlights, and the historical facades of the Palace are immersed in the mysterious atmosphere of past eras.

I've been dreaming about this trip for a long time! And finally, on a warm spring day, I crossed the threshold of the most famous museum in the world, the Louvre. Spring Paris enveloped me in its unique atmosphere, and the Louvre greeted me with silence and grandeur. Each hall of this majestic palace seemed to hold its own secrets, which I wanted to reveal. Do you know that feeling when your heart freezes? I had it as soon as I saw the Mona Lisa. That's the smile they talk about so much....She's really mesmerizing! And the Venus de Milo is the epitome of eternal beauty and grace. I especially remember the gallery with Egyptian artifacts. Sphinxes, sarcophagi, ancient papyri - all this takes you back thousands of years. And how beautiful were the halls with European paintings! Works by Rembrandt, Vermeer, Rubens - each canvas seems to tell its own story. The museum atmosphere absorbed me so much that time flew by unnoticed. For me, the Louvre has become more than just a museum - it is a place where history comes to life, where art breathes and speaks to you in the language of colors, shapes and lines. Now I know for sure that to really fall in love with art, you need to be here at least once. Advice to all travelers: come early when there are not so many tourists yet. Then you will have the opportunity to enjoy each masterpiece in peace and quiet.

It's a wonderful museum, there are a lot of exhibits, there is even a map of the exhibitions in Russian! (And also French, German, English, Chinese, Spanish). There is a queue at the main entrance of the pyramid for several hours. Admission for non-EU citizens is 22€ per person, and from January 14, 2026, it will be 32€. There are no Russian-speaking guides. The museum is very similar to the Hermitage, only the exhibits can be touched. Huge queue for the Mona Lisa (if you are not disabled and not a child, then you will be able to approach the maximum distance of 5 meters) We didn't wait, but took a picture above the screen.

The Louvre is a cult, media-hyped, cultural and historical art museum. It is possible to evaluate such a "block" only in comparison with something commensurate, for example, with our Hermitage. 1. The Louvre's exposition occupies 72700 sq.m. (a world record), and the Hermitage - 67000 sq.m. (second place) 2. The accessibility of visiting museums is comparable, there are peak seasons, days and hours when it is difficult to buy tickets offline, but you can do it in advance, online. 3. The atmosphere in the Louvre is more relaxed, visitors are talking loudly and laughing, children from local artists are sitting on the floor and drawing their sketches, you can take selfies. In the Hermitage, everything is more academic - if you behave very actively, a "museum grandmother" may come up and make a remark, photography is not allowed everywhere. 4. The filling of masterpieces corresponding to the status and more media-hyped "Mona Lisa" is in no way superior to "Madonna Benoit" by the same Leonard da Vinci, and "Venus de Milo" is as "armless" as "Venus Taurida"))) As a conclusion: the theft in October 2025 showed that in order not to lose your golden (literally and figuratively) cultural fund, you need to observe the golden mean between comfort and safety and follow the golden rule - "It's better to move...better than not...child"))) Although, it was the theft of the Gioconda in 1911 that made this painting world famous and the most recognizable.

The Louvre made a very strong impression: the scale of the museum and the richness of the collection are really amazing, and the atmosphere of the ancient palace makes a walk through the halls special. I remember paintings with world masterpieces from the Mona Lisa to antique statues. On the downside: there are a lot of visitors. Getting around everything in one room is not realistic. the poor menu in the cafe.)

I recommend setting aside a couple of days for a visit to the Louvre - the exposition is large and it is better to get acquainted with the main exhibits at the beginning, accompanied by a guide (we found him on a Tripster). But the second day should be devoted to self-examination. 😉 And there is something to see here! As always, there is a huge queue for the famous Gioconda and it is unlikely that you will be able to get close. In addition, after the unsuccessful attempt, she is "dressed" in a glass shirt and fenced with a railing. The Louvre is definitely the most important art and historical museum in the world. ❤️

A great versatile museum! A huge number of paintings, masterpieces of painting, a beautiful hall representing Sumerian, Akkadian and Persian culture, an excellent exposition of ancient Egyptian objects, richly represented Hellenic ceramics, a small but very interesting hall of idols of Africa and Oceania, sculptural masterpieces of the Greeks, Romans and other cultures, samples of weapons and armor from different countries and eras, an interesting hall-a treasure trove featuring the largest gems, as well as beautifully decorated interiors. I was there in October, but there were sooooo many visitors. It's good that I bought a ticket in advance online and got to the museum quickly enough. For guests with an Internet ticket, the entrance is slightly away from the glass pyramid, and the staff will show you the way to it. Inside, you can get a free map of the Louvre, which shows the location of the main masterpieces and attractions in different buildings and floors. The maps are available in different languages and it helps you navigate quickly and find the right room.

The Louvre is one of the most famous and majestic museums in the world, located in the heart of Paris. This historic palace impresses with its architecture and rich collection of works of art. In the Louvre you can see the legendary "Mona Lisa" by Leonardo da Vinci, the mysterious "Venus de Milo", the majestic "Nika of Samothrace" and many other masterpieces. The museum covers art from different eras and cultures, from Ancient Egypt to the Renaissance. A walk through the halls of the Louvre is a real journey through time and the world of art. This is a place that is definitely worth a visit to anyone who comes to Paris! 🎨🏛️✨

What an atmospheric place the Louvre is. It was impossible to get inside: the queue was huge, but it was enough for my husband and me to admire him from the outside. The scale of the square, the beauty of the buildings, the individual sculptures, and how everything is built with taste are impressive. They left the change on the cylindrical pillar of desires. My husband was lucky, he made a wish. We walked for a long time to see all the beauty of this place. The glass dome sparkled beautifully in the sun, reflecting numerous highlights from its edges. There are a lot of tourists. And that's impressive too. You could see a piece of the Louvre through the glass of the courtyard. Maybe next time....😊

To say that this is one of the best museums in the world is nothing new. The architecture of the building, clear navigation, convenience and comfort for visitors. Which of the tips for the first visit can be given?: - tickets are not checked at the entrance at the time of entry (there are two large queues in front of the glass dome. Entrance by ticket time), check only the inspection of things and bags - then there will be a point: a wardrobe and a place to store bags - everything is clear and convenient with cameras there. Go deeper, there will be a lot of empty cells. - do not stand in a hard toilet in a queue on the first floor. She's moving very slowly, you'll lose time. There are toilets on all floors - if you only need a Gioconda, signs everywhere lead to it. A large and interesting exposition of sculptures and an interesting collection of new world countries. Leonardo is represented not only by Gioconda, there are other magnificent creations of his.

We visited the Louvre in September and were absolutely delighted! To avoid long queues at the entrance, we bought tickets online in advance — we chose the exact time and went inside in just 5 minutes, without waiting. I strongly advise you not to postpone the purchase of tickets until the last moment! Before the visit, we downloaded the mobile guide to the Louvre in advance (available in the App Store) - it even works offline and greatly simplified navigation through the huge museum. Thanks to this, we didn't get lost and looked at everything we wanted: from the Mona Lisa to Egyptian sarcophagi. If you don't take an audio guide on the spot, be sure to download your own — it will be much more interesting than just wandering around. 💡 Life hack: enter through the entrance to the Carrousel du Louvre gallery (from the side of the shopping center) — there are usually fewer people there than at the main pyramid. Tip: plan at least 3-4 hours, the museum is really huge. And be sure to take comfortable shoes — it will be a long walk. The Louvre is a must-visit, but pre-purchased tickets + a guide make the visit 10 times more enjoyable.

I love art, especially painting. And finally, my little dream came true: I saw a masterpiece of world art - the very Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci! Of course, you can also see Venus de Milo, Cupid and Psyche, Nika of Samothrace, etc. But still, nothing compares to the Mona Lisa. There was a long queue for this painting, you can see in the photo, and people stand for almost an hour just to come up to it and admire it. The museum is huge! And if you go there, then take into account the whole day. You won't regret it and it's worth it!!!!! By the way, for the information of lovers of the Louvre. There are 2 Louvres in the world: one in Paris, the second guess where? - That's right, in Abu Dhabi, If someone was there, tell us about your impressions :) I was in Abu Dhabi, but I didn't have enough time for the Louvre😔

Personally, we were impressed by the Louvre even before we crossed the threshold. A street violinist was playing at the gate. And it came at exactly the right moment :) It's classic inside: you have to fight your way through a forest of hands and phones to get to the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo really has no hands (and more than it looks in the photo), and getting out of the museum is more difficult than getting there. We looked at everything that was required, but the strongest impression was not from the canvases, but from the atmosphere. A couple of tips on how to get to the Louvre without queuing: — buy a ticket in advance → louvre.fr — enter not through the pyramid, but through the Carrousel du Louvre entrance — the best time is to open or after 16:00 And the full notes are in the tg channel. t.me/VokrugSvetaZaUikend

**Review of the Louvre Museum** I recently visited one of the most famous museums in the world, the Louvre. It was an unforgettable journey into history and art, which left deep impressions in me. The first thing that struck me was the huge size of the museum. The Louvre occupies several buildings, and it will take a long time to get around all its expositions. I was impressed by the variety of works of art presented here. From ancient Egyptian artifacts to Impressionist masterpieces, the Louvre offers visitors a veritable treasure trove of world art. I especially remember sculptures and paintings dedicated to ancient mythology. They are executed with incredible skill and convey all the beauty and grandeur of the ancient gods and heroes. I was also impressed by the works of Leonardo da Vinci, including his famous Mona Lisa. The Louvre has several permanent exhibitions dedicated to different eras and styles. In addition, temporary exhibitions are regularly held here, which allow you to see new works of art and get acquainted with different cultures. It is worth noting the interiors of the museum itself. They are made in different styles and eras, which gives the Louvre a special atmosphere. Here you can see elements of Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and other styles. Overall, visiting the Louvre is a real cultural experience. Here you can not only enjoy the works of art, but also learn a lot about the history and culture of different countries. I am sure that I will come back here more than once to continue my journey through the world of art.

If you're tired of the vulgar Gioconda, look for Durer's "Ship of Fools" and "Self-Portrait."They are in neighboring halls, without crowds of idle tourists. Both paintings are a good reason to go to the Louvre for nothing. If Durer painted the first self-portrait in history without the purpose of selling, then "Ship.." to this day well conveys the rich inner world of the average tiktok viewer.

One of the best museums in the world! One of the biggest and most popular. The Louvre's collection houses some of the most famous masterpieces of art and historical objects. The Louvre in Paris is an architectural monument and the richest museum, unparalleled in the diversity and completeness of its collections, their artistic and historical value. Originally, the Louvre was a royal palace (1546-19 centuries, architects P. Lesko, Levo, K. Perrault, etc.; sculptural decoration by J.Goujon, interior design Sh.Lebrun et al.), built on the site of the castle. Noble ladies were available to their cavaliers, even if it was the Queen! Opening date: 1793 Date of foundation: 1792

The staff is friendly, there are audio guides in Russian. A must—visit even for those who are not a fan of museums - here you get inspired! 🌟🖼️

I gave 5 stars only for the large collection, and so that no one would think that I was some kind of dimwit. But as a museum it is terribly inconvenient. Just to see the 5 most popular exhibits, you need to spend 2-3 hours. Plus, you'll have to walk for another 2-3 hours without understanding where you are, and then when you finally find what you wanted, it turns out that it's closed. And of course there are queues.

I'll bet 5, but without respect, as Don Carleone said. The entrance through the "Carousel" was still 40 minutes away. There are crowds of people, it's stuffy, there's nothing to breathe. You just can't approach the painting in the Gioconda room. If you ignore the people, you realize that the main thing in the Louvre is French art. There is very little non-French (DaVinci and Venus de Milo). In my opinion, it is a very overrated museum. It creates expectations that it cannot meet.

The Louvre is one of the most famous museums in the world, where you can see a lot of masterpieces and spend several hours enjoying painting and sculpture. I don't always understand the excitement that grows every year around Leonardo da Vinci's portrait of the Mona Lisa. We have two works by Leonardo in the Hermitage: Madonna with a Flower and Madonna Lita, which are in no way inferior to Gioconda (Mona Lisa) and there is no such hype about them. Most likely, this is how the "promotion" of the works of a brilliant master works. The Louvre has universal collections from Western Europe to the Middle East and a huge collection of antiquities.

To our generation, raised on Dumas's novels, the very name of this palace means a lot, even though none of us were there at the time. And that means you've visited. There are no words for how cool it is. Architecture, history, impressions and memories of the adventures of the Aramises and de la Molay, as well as the Schombergs and Livaro.. The royal residence from the time of Charles the Fifth to Louis the Fourteenth, who fled from here to Versailles.. Plus, the largest art museum, which is visited by more than 10 million people annually.

It's very stuffy inside in summer, it's worth stocking up on water and planning a route in advance or seeing what specific attractions you want to see. A visit to the Louvre makes a deep impression. A unique museum, the oldest in the world, with a rich collection of cultural values.  An architectural masterpiece. One visit is not enough, since the Louvre has over 400 halls and a huge number of exhibits are concentrated. The area allocated for them is slightly more than 60 thousand square meters, and the total area is more than 160 thousand square meters. To go through all the halls of the museum and examine the exhibits, it will take a week, so it is better to determine in advance the priorities of visiting the expositions and the route. This will save you time and energy, and will give you the opportunity to enjoy what you see.

The Egyptian gym was not working, as it turned out, it has its own schedule, according to which it is closed a couple of times a month. In general, I realized that it takes several days to go through the entire museum. The only drawback is, of course, the number of people in the halls, but in the zone of Iranian culture it is freer.

The Louvre is charming, impressive and at the same time the way I always imagined it. Thousands of exhibits, from ancient Egyptian sarcophagi to the apartments of Napoleon III, are displayed on a vast territory divided into 5 levels. Before the visit, there were great concerns about the excessive workload of the museum, because everyone had heard about the kilometer-long queues at the entrance and the crowds of people near the Gioconda. But after collecting some information, we figured out how to get to the Louvre and get the most out of it. I'm sharing my recommendations with you.: 1. We buy tickets in advance for any day from Wednesday to Friday: the museum is closed on Tuesday, Versailles is closed on Monday, which is why tourists often choose to visit the Louvre on this day, with Saturday and Sunday, I think everything is clear. The cost of tickets per adult (for citizens of non-EU countries) is 32€. 2. We choose the earliest time slot - we took tickets on the official website and chose the slot for 9.00. I often heard recommendations that on Wednesday and Thursday you can also choose late slots (after 18.00) and also get into a half-empty museum - I don't know, we didn't check. 3. Arrive at least 30 minutes in advance and queue at the entrance to the Pyramid. Thus, 10-15 minutes before the museum opens, there will already be a huge queue behind you. 4. If you are late, then we do not enter from the main entrance, but from the end of the building. 5. We must take a map, it is easier to navigate with it, including maps in Russian. 6. First of all, we go to Hall No. 711 to view Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece from the front row, without making your way through the crowd, 45 minutes after the museum opens, you will not have such an opportunity. 7. After that, we inspect the Denon wing on the first tier - there are mainly paintings by French, Italian and Spanish artists, including Eugene Delacroix, Caravaggio, Francisco de Goya. 8. After that, we inspect the second level, where mainly French sculpture is represented. 9. Then we can safely inspect the ground and basement levels. The zero level is dedicated to ancient civilizations - Greek, Egyptian, and Middle Eastern. The basement level is cool and features medieval gems. There is less workload at these levels. 10. We set aside 2-3 hours of time for a quiet inspection of the exposition. 11. We are looking for a way out (it also turned out to be not quite easy, the pointers are very strange). Thus, we got great pleasure from visiting one of the most famous museums in the world, without fuss and queues.
