The symbol of the Dubai Mall, and of the city as a whole, is a waterfall with figures of pearl divers. The structure is very impressive, waterfalls permeate the Dubai Mall through all four floors. Their height reaches 24 meters. This is a tribute to the hard and sometimes deadly work of pearl fishermen, because before oil production, it was one of the main occupations of the local population. But there is also a piquant moment: fixing the figures to the waterfall. The rod on which the little men are holding is located just at the level where hmmm is located..... If this is some kind of hidden idea of the architects, I do not know.
