Stylish tuff buildings make up the architectural ensemble of Republic Square. There is also a museum of the history of Armenia and an art gallery (also well worth the space).
And the undoubted pearl of the square is the singing fountains - one of the most beautiful that I have seen (and I have seen both in Dubai and in Winperle - there is something to compare it with) - a variety of music - both classical, popular, and folk - and performances go on in a row (and not once an hour as in Dubai) - you can enjoy the performance for half an hour for sure.
I definitely recommend visiting - especially in the evening, when singing fountains are launched.

The city center, where several main highways of the city intersect. There are government buildings on the square and next to it, and in the center there is a museum worth visiting. The square is clean, there are shops around a lot of cafes. In the evenings, the fountain turns into a musical one. By the way, all buildings are made of tuff and according to the drawings of Tamonyan, the general architect of Yerevan. (I do not pretend to be historical, this is all from the tour) now there are a lot of trucks and cars selling tours and excursions on the square about them. But I would not advise taking them here (I screwed up, like a brother, as a guest was taken to three roads) mb I was so unlucky, but in travel agencies it is much more civilized and the guides not only turn the steering wheel but really tell

A gorgeous atmospheric place in the city center. Singing fountains gather around them a huge number of people of different nationalities, gender and age. Where and when else would you listen to the classics accompanied by jets of water and light. The fountains are surrounded by colorful monumental buildings. A great place to spend time in the hot evening, as there is a slight coolness from the fountains.
