Очень красивые "поющие" фонтаны вечером с приятным звуковым рядом на любой вкус.
Днём просто просторная и живописная площадь.
Удобно, что есть питьевые фонтанчики на площади.

Поющие фонтаны, много молодежи, люди собираются здесь отдыхать, и любоваться фонтаном, часто играет современная музыка, даже можно потанцевать , вокруг много закусочных, и кофеен, с не очень завышенными ценами, а главная фишка площади, что с нее по задумке архитектора города во все стороны расходятся улицы и проспекты

Здесь всегда что-то происходит, кипит жизнь. Летним вечером приятно посмотреть фонтаны, возле стен всегда играет музыка. А в новогоднее время здесь красивее всего: елка, огни, ощущение праздника. Рекомендую тут погулять

То ли воздух тут такой.. то ли погода, но в Ереване нравится много чего:) И площадь Республики одно из таких мест. По ощущениям она мне напоминает Рим. там тоже круглые деревья, (но более высокие) и старинная архитектура. Но вернемся в Ереван:) На площади утром очень тихо, а днем очень шумно:) собирается целый город, вокруг бегают дети, гул голосов, играет музыка и слышно шум фонтана. Фонтан потрясающий! С музыкой и световыми эффектами. Звучат произведения известных композиторов.. Любимое место ребенка. Каждый раз, когда гуляем по центру, тащит меня туда. Фонтан начинает шоу около 20 часов. Архитектура на площади потрясающая. Здания построены из туфа. Арки, различные орнаменты. Я очень люблю такое.

In the USSR, this square was called Lenin Square. Very beautiful buildings made of pink tuff, richly decorated with stone carvings (Armenians are great masters in this area). The square makes a strong impression and if you go to Yerevan, then this is a must-visit place. There are many excellent boutiques, cafes and restaurants near the square. Будете в Ереване обязательно посетите площадь в тёмное время суток. Когда все светится. А фонтаны подсвечнные разными разными огнями ещё и поют. Прекрасно, очень красиво!!!

Если вы не были на площади Республики, то вы не были в Армении. Рекомендую пойти туда вечером, когда работают поющие фонтаны. Подсветка зданий выполнена прекрасно, все здания на площади образуют единый ансамбль. Ощущение праздника и восхищения присутствует у гуляющих. Да может площадь не велика, здания не монументальны, вон ан не больше батумского на набережной, но все вместе весьма гармонично.
