A cool, beautiful architectural building, where there are still moments of the Soviet era, many tourists stay there, the price of a room per night is much lower than the average. It's cozy and far to see.

A big plus is the location of the hotel. There are also very nice guys at the reception. The rooms are old. Everything needs to be repaired. The lobby of the hotel looks much better than the rooms. I didn't like the buffet breakfast at all. The choice is small. But the most unpleasant thing is the dirty tablecloths at the opening at 7 a.m. That is, they are not changed at all. You can stay for one or two nights without comfort. But to come to Tashkent to walk, relax and enjoy traveling is definitely not in this hotel

Good location
Nice big rooms
Good service
Delicious breakfast
Of the cons:
Incomprehensible three-pin sockets in the room (not every Euroville comes in)
No shoe spoons
There are few seats for breakfast

One star only for the location. Well, the cost may be relatively low. In mid-November, 2 nights cost 9,000 rubles.
If you find something comparable in price, if you like service and cleanliness, then the other option is definitely better.
That's what you need to be prepared for:
1. Lack of service. It's like in the 4 stars of Egypt: when they nod at you, but they don't do it. Checked into the room. The sink is smeared with some kind of goo. And one of the shampoo bottles is half empty (there is one in the photo). I went downstairs and asked to clean up (I went down because the phone in the room does not work).
Then he asked to clean up the next day, but no one cleaned or replaced it. Although the CLEANER CAME in in my absence and changed the towels.
2. Here's what hasn't worked yet or worked poorly: hot water comes after you've already washed. Remote control, phone. Wi-fi catches only at the reception.
3. Breakfasts: sad monotonous buffet. Dirty tables. There is a constant shortage of dishes.
The huge hotel has few seats. That is, you will walk around looking for a place.
I can only recommend omelette, cherry yogurt and kazinaki.
A separate quest is to pour yourself a coffee from the coffee machine. Wangyu: she will defeat you. And you will be the person who will pour boiling milk. Because the coffee machine is from the distant past, and intuition fails everyone.
An important advantage of the breakfast staff is the frequent absence of a person at the entrance who fixes the room number.
So you can safely take those in need with you :)
CONCLUSION: this hotel is in at least caring hands...

When I stayed at this hotel in 2019 and 2020, it was great! Almost gorgeous.
But now... for that kind of money, it's practically a bedbug with a very poor breakfast, disgusting service, etc.
The rooms are large, but clueless. The furniture is all in terrible condition. There is no outlet by the bed - you charge the phone almost in the hallway. There are no toothbrushes.
In general, I do not recommend it

Two stars just for the fact that this hotel is of architectural interest! But like all hotels of this type, it is absolutely outdated! The old worn carpet, the rooms smell, some rooms and floors are rented out and people smoke in them and everything is carried around the floor, the beds are a separate horror! Just two mattresses on top of each other! The bathroom smells, due to the lack of hydraulic locks in the drainage system (siphons, simply put), the smell is right in the room! In general, to be honest, it's not even very good to spend the night separately…

A good hotel, quite up to its standard. Normal breakfasts, with a slight oriental flavor.
The view of the city from the hotel, of course, is beyond praise. But the view for the better is greatly limited by the decorative design of the facade.
There are several attractions nearby, the Tashkent chimes, for example. By the way, the chimes are striking one more beat than the time.

The main advantage of the hotel is its central location near the Amir Temur metro station. The building has an exchange office, a cafe, a restaurant, and an assembly hall. I had a room on the 12th floor with a good renovation and new furniture. The disadvantage is that only 3-petal sockets are used according to the English standard. The Euroville can be put in there with great difficulty, but I did not succeed. Did the British build the hotel??? Before that, he lived in other hotels in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara - everywhere there were standard Euro sockets accepted in Russia.

I suffered for a long time, 3 or 4 to put, but objectively 3 *. The old tired hotel has been without repair and major cleaning for a long time.
The breakfast is normal, good pastries. The carpets in the corridors are dirty, the rooms are cleaned in a hurry, there is garbage and dust in the corners. The appliances are old, the air conditioner is very noisy and useless, you can't plug into the sockets, singing plumbing, etc. But the main thing is the iron mattresses, we managed to find normal ones in the 5th room. As the locals say, there is no owner there. The staff is nice, helpful and helpful, but they maintain the condition.

The hotel is from Soviet times, the furniture and plumbing are tired. The antediluvian air conditioner hums and blows warm air. The staff is polite, the breakfast is not bad, but some dishes, such as sausages, were cold. There is not enough space for breakfast, tables for 8 people, you have to sit side by side with strangers. It is located in the center, convenient. If you do not find fault with the little things, then the norms!

Who knows what the cosmos hotel in Moscow is, he will understand) it is very similar. But a little better)) as it is, the rooms are modest, old in some places, the air conditioning is shared, so keep in mind when you go in the heat. You won't always get hot water. Not this morning. But! The breakfasts are good. We ate very tasty. However, there are few places where you can find coffee machines. They just made black coffee there. No cream, no milk. The hotel is located in a beautiful location, opposite the park. At the entrance to the hotel there are "doormen" who are ready to answer any questions from tourists. There is a vase with flowers in the center of the hall. Externally, everything is beautiful, but the facade of the hotel itself is gray, nondescript and repulsive to visit, because it seems that the hotel is closed for renovation. In the hotel itself, despite the bouquets of flowers, the impression of unkemptness, remnants from the Soviet era, stagnation, and the need for cosmetic repairs is created. I once read that "if you want to have an idea about the well-groomed facilities, visit the toilets ..."
This is exactly the impression that speaks about the unkemptness of the institution and the lack of proper control...

The furniture is all Soviet still, the repair man is lame. The service is good, the guests are welcome. The bedding is fresh, the washbasins are too. There was a single-use razor, but there were no brushes. From the other, the whole set is standard: TV, hairdryer, safe, refrigerator, kettle, water (2 liters per day).
The location is trump. The price is not the lowest, but it is good for the city center. We took a room for 3 days - 3 nights with breakfast included. The breakfasts are not bad - there is a choice.
There is a gym, a bar, a barbershop, a restaurant on the last 17th floor - the view is awesome from it. Also, right inside on the 1st there is an exchanger, like Haoyot Bank - a good exchange rate is a dollar in a bag.
Well, Tashkent itself is when reality exceeds expectations!

I do not recommend visiting this hotel. The rooms here are bad from Soviet times. If there is no heating in the city, you will freeze at night. The hotel staff will not be able to help you with the room, except to offer a 2nd blanket.
4 stars are highly inflated, at most 3 stars.
The bar is cheating with prices. There are also bad people at the reception every other time. The exchange rate is very bad, I do not advise changing money here.

I rarely write reviews with a minus sign, but unfortunately this is the case here! A very old hotel, very "tired" furniture! All rooms require renovation! Furniture generally needs to be replaced! There is an old dirty tile in the bathroom and a toilet bowl that is scary to use! The watering can in the shower directs water in all directions, because it leaks!
The only advantage of the hotel is its proximity to the center!

It's very dirty everywhere. The towels were torn, stained, smelled bad, there was no soap, shampoo, toothbrush and other things in the bathroom. The carpets are dirty in the room, in the hair, crumbs, sand, the floor is dirty too, all the furniture is dusty, I was ready to forgive that. But a day before our departure, they decided to paint something with nuclear paint near our rooms! We didn't feel the paint at first, because they painted it early in the morning, and we were sleeping, at 8 my sons felt sick, I didn't understand why from the dawn, and when I sniffed I realized that it smelled wildly of paint and this was the reason for my children's poor health. I think they shouldn't have painted on the floor where someone lives. The reception did not know at all that any repairs were being carried out. After I told them, we were moved to other rooms. And before that, there was no hot water at all from July 1 to 3! I am outraged as much as possible! I hope that the administration and the managing persons will want to contact me!

Of the cons:
1) In the room in which I live, there is only 1 Russian-type outlet, and that is located on the counter above the refrigerator, and that's all, all the rest of the sockets are three-phase, and then there is not one near the bed (for me it is the most important, since the right ear almost does not hear, and there is a constant ringing to drown it out at night, I turn on the "white noise", which is catostrophically important for me, because I can't fall asleep without it)
2)Around the perimeter of the room, the parquet began to flake and stick out
3) The old skirting board, nailed into the wall, also began to move away from the wall, so that a cockroach or something like that could easily get through there
4)All the windows are dirty, at night, when the lighting is turned on on the facade of the building, all the spots, splashes, etc. are clearly visible
5) Plumbing. Sometimes you have to let the water out for 20 minutes so that all the rust goes away, they couldn't explain to me what this is about.
6) The general condition of the electrics is alarming, the protruding wires tied with blue duct tape have never been trusted by me personally (there were no incidents during my stay, but no one can be 100% sure)
7) Breakfast also leaves much to be desired (porridge, tomatoes, cucumbers, tea), for the same money, I went every day in the morning to the nearest cafe where I took an English breakfast (weight 500g / price + -650 rubles)
From the pros:
1) Stable Internet connection. During the entire stay, it did not turn off, the speed was stable, and it worked everywhere except for the elevator.
2) The staff. Everything that was said above about the condition of the room has nothing to do with the staff. Very friendly and attentive. Someone may say that this is how it should be, but it's worth noting.
3) Location. The hotel is located right in the center, next to the metro.
Result:
Unfortunately, the Uzbekistan Hotel got into this situation because of the abundance of private hotels, where everything is also available, only also the sockets are normal. In my opinion, the best days of this hotel were in the 90s when my father came here.
Whether to stay here or not is up to you, I have attached a photo to confirm.

If you dream of going back to the Soviet Union, then ask for rooms on the upper floors. In addition to the polished furniture, there will be problems with hot water and heating.
