I may have been at some wrong airport... But it feels like this is not Dubai International Airport, but a bus station. We registered and entered the hall... In front of us is a duty-free, on the left is the entrance to the business lounge... Let's go there... They scan our documents, we go in, and there are just stupidly no places, the stuffiness is unbearable... They quarreled and left... We walked around the store, standard duty-free, although in terms of perfumes there is a good choice, including a niche perfume. They left the store... And the hall ended... Mcdachka, KFS, a couple more fast food outlets and the Kremlin at the gates.... We really flew through fly dubai... Maybe Emirates has a different lounge... I don't know...

My experience is from 2022. A very large airport. It's like Heathrow or the new Istanbul airport. I was surprised that I had to get on the train before passport control, but it's even fun. Although there is a similar joke in London too.
The airport is clean and spacious. Not a soulless one! The temperature is comfortable, do not turn on the freezer mode. It's a little hard to navigate for the first time. The metro is nearby, so you can do without a taxi. When you take off from there, a taxi may be needed depending on the terminal. I advise you to check the site because I was there in 2022. 10000% made upgrades.

It is a very large airport, it is difficult to deal with the baggage check-in area. There are long queues at the control, even though it is automated.
I was a little surprised by the lack of security at the entrance (as we have in Sheremetyevo, for example)
After all the control measures, you take the train to your terminal. We had a landing from some kind of basement, we had to go through the heat by bus and stand in line on the ramp under the blazing sun.
We were also unpleasantly surprised by the toilets in the form of a Genoa bowl in the arrival area

We liked flying from this airport for the first time. The airport is not big, so everything is quick and clear.Duty Free is compact, true, but THERE IS ✅ McDonald's is also available , you can eat , the mother and child's room is where you can sit and draw. !For Russian tourists who do not know, there is a last store in the duty free zone (right before going to the planes), there are the lowest prices for EVERYTHING :both for water and dates, even sandwiches are in the refrigerator (prices are almost like in a supermarket, and not 10 times more expensive, as in the entire airport)!! If you want to have a snack or drink cheap, look for this place!!!

Duty free is not rich in assortment, the departure waiting area is quite crowded, but there are several places where you can have a snack. You will be taken to the plane by bus. This trip can take 15 minutes, as the airfield is just huge.
Smart gates are impressive, through which adults can pass without children, which greatly simplifies the procedure of passing customs control. You just attach your passport, wait 30 minutes and the turnstile lets you through. The stamp is not put either on arrival or on departure. According to customs, this option works for everyone who has been to Dubai at least once before. If you arrived for the first time, you will have to go through a standard window with a person.

P. Yu-To ASIA. It is always clean, despite the huge crowd of people, and the first pleasant chips appeared here n.p. racks for charging gadgets, etc. + a huge duty free with the same huge selection. I will also note the disadvantages: if there is little time between flights, there is a chance to be late + a smoking room, it's just tin - hoods can't cope with smoke, people smoke next to the room. If you walk next to it, it's like you've been in a smoky room for a long time. I don't know now, maybe something has changed.

The elevator in the third terminal, after exiting the elevator, goes right and left, it makes no sense to go around in both directions, since the shops are mirrored. It's disgusting! For the first time in many flights around the world, a small child and I were seated in different places, and in different ends. It's just not mental! Disgusting! Terrible people work at the check-in desk. No help at all! Screams! They don't listen! At the airport restaurant, they took money for three Coca-Colas, and brought 2. But the excellent flight attendants of flight FZ 967 found seats for us with the child. The rating is excellent exclusively for these wonderful people and great professionals.

I can't say that I liked the airport. The check-in area is small, a couple of seats sit down and it's time for coffee points. There is a footcourt, of course, but there are only 4 places with food on it, 3 of them fast food and 1 Indian cuisine.
We thought it would be more diverse in the departure area, but no, dutifrey, a couple of sandwich shops and a couple of fast food outlets. Even coffee was hard to find a place to drink.
In general, I didn't even lie next to Sheremetyevo and Pulkovo.

I visited this Luhari shopping center, which doubles as an airport.
Upon arrival, a local airport employee for some reason showed us with his hand so that we would go to the automatic control desks, which work without people. But, as it turned out, they do not work for citizens of the Russian Federation (at least not for everyone). We've lost a lot of time because of this.
Luhari shops look at you from all corners and beckon you to spend honestly exchanged dirhams.
I still did not understand the chips with the division of the airport into 2 parts, between which the train runs. It's fun as an attraction and matches luhari, but it's useless.

There are two opinions about this airport: terminal number 3 is international, it is much better there than in terminal number 2, clean, cozy, spacious, status. But in terminal 2 there are more local flights and the nearest cities are already full of people, the airport is not so clean, especially in the toilet, apparently they just don't have time, there are no empty seats, gates appear on the scoreboard literally before departure, you can't hear the landing announcement, air conditioners are blowing strongly, so you need to dress warmly, although outside the door + 41 heat. All this can be understood, it is not easy to serve such a number of passengers and thank them for their work!!!
