One of the best airports in the world. It is convenient to get from the city, including by public transport and by rented car, close to the old center. Spacious terminals, clean, no crowds, good navigation. Decent staff. Duty Free and cafes are pleased with the prices. The disadvantages are the difficulties of moving from terminal to terminal if you are not yet in a clean zone and the somewhat arrogant behavior of passport control officers, too, "white sheets" for me!

A huge airport, in particular Terminal 3. The airport is a "home" for Emirates. It is very convenient for transit flights. There are hourly hotels inside, but you can comfortably sit on chairs for free and wait out the flight waiting time. There are quite a lot of cafes to eat, from Mac to HardRock. A lot of Duties. Branded stores. You can travel around the terminal on golf carts absolutely free of charge. Traditional sweets can be purchased in the shops. In dutifrey stores, prices are slightly more expensive than, for example, in Antalya or Male. There are quite a lot of toilets at the airport, clean. There are free Maclaren folding strollers for children. The waiting time there is very unnoticeable and comfortable.

Hardly a C grade. And if you transfer to terminal F from, say, B, then 15-20 minutes are waiting for you in a stupid bus. There are terminals in tickets by numbers, in navigation by letters. How to translate into letters if you need a ticket from Terminal 2 to 3, the sheikh knows him. You find your flight on the scoreboard (and you watch their aztsky filmstrip there), the automatic subway between the new terminals is also in half, slow, but for now, many more people are involved in it and will follow the passengers than if they put one driver in it.
Four points still for the fact that the exchange rates are sane, the dytik is relatively decent (I expected more from such a hub), well, the luggage was not crumpled and not pecked at the transfers.
They need to be retrained in Sheremetyevo or wherever else we have.

We rested for 8 nights in May. Great hotel! I liked absolutely everything! Made a free upgrade))) The service is super! We congratulated our son on his 16th birthday (cake, juice, wine for parents))) The room was super! Fully equipped!!! kitchen. Washing machine, ironer, iron. Snow-white bed linen and towels are changed every day, bathrobes, super cosmetics! Convenient location: view, beach, promenade, taxi. When we returned late, a room was prepared for us: everything was cleaned up again, the curtains were drawn, water on the bedside tables. The food in both the main and ala-kart restaurants is excellent, they offer both free and paid menus (a little expensive). Visited two. We will definitely return to this hotel!

A modern excellent airport. Everything is intuitive even without knowledge of the language. There are smart terminals at passport control, that is, if you have a new-style passport (with a chip), then you can pass the control yourself, without an employee of the control service: you put your passport to the terminal, the camera takes pictures of you and that's it, the turnstile passes. It probably took 30 seconds for everything, and without any inquiring questions about the purpose of the trip, etc.
But there is 1 minus if the airport is in transit, and you need to get from Terminal 1 or 3 to Terminal 2 (or vice versa). There is no free shuttle, the bus is also not clear which one, for 1.5 hours I could not leave by bus, I had to take a taxi. And if you take a taxi from bombed at the airport, it turned out to be $ 30 for 10 minutes by car. But the service is on top.
In general, the airport is gorgeous, with knowledge of English it's generally super, but if transit, then you need to think over the movement in advance.

In Dubai for the first time. The airport is huge: an electric train runs between the terminals.
Waiting areas are very conveniently arranged. In our airports there are halls with rows of seats, and here there are tables with chairs. There is an area with a counter and chairs for recharging gadgets, if necessary, you can work, again, free wi-fi is available throughout the airport. A very good dutik.

How to get from luxury to hell.
Until recently, I loved the UAE very much, I have repeatedly visited Dubai and other Emirates. Impressions have always been on the verge of delight: cleanliness, safety, beauty everywhere. This time we got caught in the rain, which was 04/16.24. I understand everything that this is an anamalia for them, the city was flooded, the airport too. Arriving at the airport on 17.04, we saw crowds of people who were sitting and lying on the floor, it was also impossible to approach the cafes, it was better to keep silent about the state of the toilets. All the scoreboards have been extinguished, people are walking back and forth in panic and hoping to get at least some information. The airport staff all disappeared somewhere. From time to time, some airport managers appeared, but they just walked around the hall, stepping over people lying on the floor. No information, I'm not talking about help at all. We arrived at the airport at 11 a.m., closer to 5 p.m. the airport was closed altogether. A raging crowd began to gather on the street. The transfer brings and stupidly leaves people at the entrance, they are not allowed to enter, and it is not clear what to do next. Here I would also like to send greetings to almost all travel agencies, whose main motto was simply to get away from their tourists as quickly as possible and away. I'm glad that at least there was free WiFi. But the situation with charging points was deplorable...half of them are not working, there are queues where there are working outlets (I stood in line for more than an hour). And a few words about the sockets themselves - these are just loose tees from where lightning is constantly flying. We also tried to find hotels (there were a maximum of 2 and they were crowded) or lounges, there is a game here, they are there, but only in the duty free zone. Tell me where the logic is, if a person has checked in for a plane, he has to wait 2-3 hours, why does he need this lounge. Or at least it was possible to make several of them in different zones. The airport staff does not care about people in the truest sense of the word. For a second, most of the people are tourists who brought money to your country. Really, it was impossible to simply release representatives into the hall so that they would give at least some information to people. It was perfectly clear that there were not enough places to charge, is there really no extension cords in such a country? Or bring and distribute drinking water to people, I'm not talking about food at all. You could find chairs somewhere or arrange a transfer to hotels just like that (or at least for money). I would probably have accepted such behavior more calmly from many other countries in the world, but not from Dubai. Rather than build hotels with golden toilets, it would be better to buy pumps and try to arrange the consequences of the rain as soon as possible. Such a "cool city and super airport" turned out to be a dummy. In many countries of the world, it rains, snows and snowstorms, and airports are working at the same time. And here is such a modern Dubai and some kind of unfortunate rain has brought everyone into a stupor. It seemed to me that it was good for many people not to move much and it was very convenient to cover themselves with a force majeure situation. Alas, that such a country was so blown away by the rain. I would like to wish both the UAE and their famous airport less show-offs and more good deeds.

There are not enough places to rest (just sitting) at all, one crowded eatery and a small dutik. A very small waiting room. There is no public transport at the exit, only a taxi. Do not rush out, there is an opportunity to leave on an internal shuttle to terminal three. There's a subway and public transport.

On the last arrival, they even handed over a SIM card of a local telecom operator with 1 GB of mobile Internet for free! Very clean, lots of places where you can wait for your flight. In the absence of a card issued in foreign currency, Russian citizens will have to change cash at an exchange office, because everything is paid in Duty free in dinars. The exchange rate at the airport, alas, is not the best. But I don't see much point in shopping, because everything is much cheaper to be found in numerous shopping malls in Dubai.
