I really liked the airport, I had a transfer for 6 hours, flew by unnoticed. Everything is clean, lots of seats, a variety of cafes.

A small, but quite cozy airport. Control, border-everything is fast and compact. Families with children try to spend without waiting in line to separate booths. Of the minuses: a large Duty Free and a food court are located BEFORE the inspection area of personal belongings. If you pass it now, then inside, at the gates, there are only a couple of mini-dutiks on 2 shelves and two coffee shops. All 🤷♀️ Therefore, try to buy / sit before passing the inspection and going to the gates.

I want to write a review on how to navigate around Sharjah airport, and find our flight to Domodedovo (Moscow). It turned out that I was looking for reviews myself, but I didn't find it, I hope my review will be useful to someone. So, I flew to Dubai via Sharjah airport, because I flew there and there were a lot of tourists, I followed everyone like a caravan and everything was clear and not scary)). It was pretty quick: we passed passport control, looked at the pole, checked the retina, then checked the luggage and already at the exit the sign of our tour operator was there and everything was told in Russian on which transfer we should go to Dubai and which driver to go for)). But back... Also, of course, we were brought to the airport by transfer, at 6 am, I was already there with the child, departure at 8-20. But... I was hoping there would be someone else)) but it turned out that there is no one nearby, not a single Russian))) Of course I didn't take a lot of pictures, it's impossible because)))I will tell it like this. When you go to the airport, there is a huge hall and hangs (as we have an infotable) and our flights are written there, I searched as in the ticket (I knew my departure number) for example, it was G9 954 (circled in yellow) As soon as I found my departure on the scoreboard, numbers 7-17 appeared next to it and it glows green, so they started taking passengers. In this huge hall, the post office near the entrance, where it is fenced with red stripes, you just have to start entering there, show your flight and they will show you where to go with their finger))) Well, who is tight with English, I mean))) I don't understand it badly, but I'm still not an ace)). In general, I went to the window, so let's say number 7, they weighed my suitcase there (by the way, by weight, I had one large suitcase for two, 24 kg weighed and 160 cm, they allow 20 kg per person in luggage, and if one, then up to 32 kg) and I will immediately say that in UAE alcohol is difficult to buy where and expensive, so I was taking vinishko there, they allow up to 4 liters per person))) Seats cannot be booked immediately on Arab airlines. And I was given these tickets and my son and I were in different places ..., I stressed where the rooms are)). I probably should have asked separately to sit next to me, but I'm always scared at the airport, so I didn't think of it)))And my son is 14-not small). I was also given a scan code, our favorite state services popped up there, and I had to fill out a questionnaire for entering the country, everything is about coronavirus there... well, I filled it out, but no one checked on arrival)). Well, they told me in English 25... And that's it, I'm off... Which is 25... And then it came))) look at the ticket- Gate25!!! Then you need to look at the top of the numbers hanging everywhere with arrows, and mine is 25))) I went to the room, there was also a check of hand luggage and in general the whole trunk))they threw out the water, and followed the signs to the 25th exit and found it))) We sat down next to each other and waited for the flight)) as soon as the employees took their seats, we came up with tickets and passports, and we were launched into the bus and then into the plane). To the toilets)) the women's did not work, only in Gate 22))) by the way, you can drink water for free there, there is a cooler, just next to the toilets, there are cups there, and, most importantly, you need to put a glass under the tap, and so that the water flows, bring your hand under the tap, and the water will flow from the sensors, not it is necessary to press or unscrew something like we have))) see the pictures, it's drawn there, how to use it)) Everything is the same as Aeroflot)) only flight attendants speak English)). fly 5 hours (if you see 6 hours on the ticket, then take into account the time difference, in the UAE an hour ahead) Wi-Fi is free there, I found this FLY-FI network a fast Internet In general, do not be afraid)). Everything will work out for you if suddenly there is no one to go for at the airport))
