There are no questions about the functionality of the airport. I was very pleased with the automatic passport control system! But the airport is not 100% adapted for Russian tourists. If you don't know English, it will be hard to figure out where to go... And another big disadvantage is that there are no sockets with a standard Russian connector for chargers. Moreover, in my time it was a problem not only for Russians, but also for Hindus and Uzbeks...

Do not undress, especially if you are on a long transfer.Free Wi-Fi, quite normal speed.Clean toilets with gig.shower.Taps with drinking water.I won't say anything about cafes and boutiques, I was in transit and didn't change money.You can sleep on the seats, but sometimes the staff starts chasing (especially the whites)).It is better to look for a place away from their field of vision.There are business halls, but for 4K you can do without them.

I liked the airport already because a bottle of water in vending machines costs only 1 dirham, i.e. about 26 rubles (at the Koltsovo airport 120 rubles). A large food court with adequate prices. Duty free, as before the border. There are also enough seats in the departure area. We quickly crossed the border. We flew through Sharjah in April 2024. On arrival, it's just creepy: a huge queue at passport control for an hour, where most of the passengers are Pakistanis and Hindus. Maybe the flights coincided, of course. But it seemed that they were just planned that way.… At the check-in stage, there are very friendly girls who are ready to help in any situation!The son dropped a very small part of the toy on the mottled floor, it was unrealistic to see something. So the girl found her in a flash! Thank you so much for your responsiveness! There are a lot of shops, there is a place to eat. There are places for charging in the waiting rooms. Our experience of staying in the departure area was not very pleasant, because we got into a period of flooding of roads from heavy rains. But if we abstract from this situation, then there is a normal airport, but there is not enough organization when passing a large number of passengers.

This airport is popularly called "Domes". I would not say that the airport terminal is huge. It is rather bright and cozy, even homely. No fuss, no jostling. The staff is smiling, the navigation is obvious, you don't even need to read the labels.

We flew airarabia, there was a connecting flight. Due to the delay of the first flight, they did not have time for the next flight, they left without us (although the airline promised that they would wait for us, but 16 people stayed in this "branch of hell") Solved the issue with representatives of the airline for 2 hours!!
Many flights were also delayed due to bad weather and a huge crowd of Hindus, Pakistanis and other nationalities formed, with only 3 employees of the company. The staff are not particularly efficient. They started helping one, dropped out and dealt with the issue of the second. As a result, they could not discuss a single person to the end and let them go. They argued with the passengers and created even more chaos and stress.
A small airport. There is not much screening, only before boarding, which is strange.
There seem to be charging outlets, but they don't work.

This is the most specific airport I've ever been to! Upon arrival, everything is as usual, but I must note that I received the luggage as soon as I passed passport control, which is very pleasing. And so, having rented a car at the same airport, everything is just as fast and good. But on the day of departure, there was just a Surprise! The car needs to be put in the parking lot from where we initially left Parking Rent on it, which is located in the arrival area and it seemed like nothing was ordinary. Put where you need, check-in by car number, everything was given and everything is fine, we go out and we need to go to the departure zone, it's 5 meters away. At the entrance, the employee brakes everyone and asks for a parking ticket, to which he was told that the car was rented and we don't have a parking ticket, to which he replied sorry, but I can't let you through! As I understood it, this is an entrance for visitors by car and you can't pass without a ticket, and the normal entrance was a little further away, but you can't just go to it because it is fenced. Where in my field of view of the entrance I did not observe until the horizon of visibility. I had to connect the Russian mat to the already broken English, as a result, after 30 minutes the main one came up to us, and after explaining to him what and how he allowed us to pass. Sharjah is not Dubai airport at all.
