An ordinary airport! It's just a little expensive to take a taxi to the capital. Therefore, if you have a transit of 5-6 hours, it is better to go to the local beach. 20-30 minutes and you are on a gorgeous (and clean, unlike Dubai) beach. And cheaper, and tastier, and cleaner!

I am completely shocked and disappointed by this airport!!! They forced a pregnant girl to buy an obscure certificate at 28 weeks for 150 derham!!! I had a certificate from my doctor and a pregnancy book with me, but it wasn't enough for the airport!
The airport rules say:
Pregnant women are allowed to fly on board Air Arabia up to and including the 35th week of pregnancy, provided they provide a certificate indicating the duration of pregnancy and a conclusion on the absence of medical contraindications to the flight. The certificate must be signed by a doctor, and it is valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
We do not allow pregnant women who are 36 weeks pregnant to fly. In the case of twins or triplets, etc., the flight (including the return) must be completed no later than the end of the 32nd week of pregnancy.
On what basis did I pay $43??? We tried to talk to the airport managers, they are completely indifferent and laughing in our direction!
Pregnant women should not be offended, they are shameless!!!

There is a lounge- a good one , there is enough of everything , but strictly according to the time of entry and exit , they are directly monitored ! We were only in the transit zone. There are shops - good prices for gold. On the fubctrt, I recommend the Indian food greene leaf - the portions are large and very tasty. It is better to put an extra hour on the passage to the departure zone - there are traffic jams, that is, a lot of people at the same time, although sometimes freely.

I was barefoot in sandals during the inspection. There are small buckles on the shoes, because of which the frame beeped. I was forced to take off my shoes so that the shoes would pass in the tray. They didn't give me shoe covers, they didn't let me get socks out of my backpack - they said "Go like that." Forced to walk barefoot on a dirty floor!!!!
This has never happened to me anywhere, in any other country, or at any other airport! Usually they either give you shoe covers or allow you not to take off your shoes, because it's already clear that the frame peeped on the buckles of the sandals, and there is no crime in this.

Excellent airport, minimum time for inspection and check-in, everything is very fast, the staff are smiling and polite. No tedious waiting in lines, but maybe I was just lucky. There was a lovely girl at the check-in on departure, and a lovely young man at the check-in on arrival. There wasn't much time to look around, I bought only snacks and water on the way - the prices are quite affordable) It's impossible to get lost, there are signs everywhere, and the airport itself is quite compact.
