The Starlight cinema definitely deserves the title of "The best cinema in the city"! Beautiful interior both in the cinema hall and at the entrance. The cinema chairs are very soft and comfortable. You can also choose from a lot of popcorn with different flavors and most other goodies. The sound in the cinema is loud and clear, the screen is high-quality and bright! I advise everyone to go to some movie, cartoon!

I've been wanting to write a review about this movie theater for a long time... I put everything off for later. But today the thicket of patience has overflowed. I need to write urgently! So... I've been going to the Starlight Cinema for quite a long time and I know its strengths and weaknesses well. The cinema itself, as it is still quite new and modern, is generally quite good and very comfortable... But, unfortunately, various shoals and incidents occur periodically in it, which often spoil the impression of it. On the one hand, the very quality of the movie is quite acceptable. On the other hand, the professionalism of the broadcast often suffers... For example, once in one session, a beam hung from the top of the screen and physically interfered with viewing. It's been a long time, but most importantly, it happened. Often, system symbols still appear on the screen, such as the letter "w" at the top right. But the strongest incident of the cinema happened today. On 11.12.25 we attended a session of Zveropolis II. Hall 5, atmos. The cartoon video was heavily CROPPED on all sides! How is this even possible?! It was cut off on both sides, it was cut off from above, but most of all it was from below, somewhere it was estimated that a whole FIFTH of the height of the film tape was missing only from BELOW! Well how? Do you think this is normal at all? In fact, we only looked at the center of the picture, all the edges were cut off! Which undoubtedly ruined the whole viewing experience! Not to mention that not all jokes and even plot twists were noticeable simply because they were BEHIND the SCENES of the broadcast! To this day, I was thinking of giving the cinema a three, at most a four, and even then I was very doubtful. Now I just can't put it higher than one! Because today's incident simply overrides all the earlier advantages! How can you even crop a movie video??? It's just wrong! This is gross unprofessionalism! Especially for such a prestigious cinema. What's the point of going to the movies to get the cuts?! Yes, and pay more than all other cinemas the cost of tickets! Starlight is the most expensive cinema in the city, and the quality is starting to drop even compared to the old cinemas! How is that even?! In general, one disappointment remained from the cinema... If such cinema maintenance continues, we will switch to other cinemas! And we just won't come to Starlight anymore. Every year now Starlight raises the price of tickets, when the old cinemas have been holding the same old 10 rubles for a ticket for many years! The question is, why are you raising prices??? If the quality only drops and drops! It's getting worse and worse. So make the quality, since the most expensive cinema in the city. Where is the quality? He's gone. Cinema administration, take measures regarding the quality of cinema screenings in your halls!!! Otherwise, we won't come to you anymore. Regarding other complaints. A quiet sound in the halls. The effects are good, of course, but the main sound of the characters' voices is too quiet. It would be quite possible to make it louder. The much-vaunted Dolby atmosphere is barely felt because of this. A special note to the staff. Some cinema staff are simply unprofessional. I'll give you some examples. Sometimes the doors close BEFORE the specified movie time. Moreover, the employee is often not in place near the door, which means that you have to wait for her to return from somewhere when there are 1-2 minutes left before the movie. One day, the ticket checker sent me to another hall after checking the ticket, saying that my film was supposedly in another hall, although I was sure that I had come to the right hall. In that other hall, her supervisor saw everything carefully this time and sent her back to the first hall, where the ticket was. After that, the first supervisor noticed that I had arrived correctly from the beginning. And yet, again, the movie was already starting... What is this anyway??? How could the HALL NUMBER be confused??? In other words, these are just frivolous employees. Sometimes 1-2 young cinema workers appear at the entrance to the hall during ticket verification and rudely begin to ask if we have brought any of our food to the cinema when we don't even have any bags with us! What is this anyway? I still understand what kind of bags we would go to the cinema with. And actually, this is being asked in a cultural (!) way, not in a rude way! And just like that to the audience without bags, and even in a rough shape... What kind of disrespect for the audience? It just feels like the slogan on the cinema's website in the vacancies section is the only (!) requirement and condition for hiring... Apparently, they don't ask or demand anything else. Any rude person or those who confuse the first FIVE digits is hired, the main thing is that they are active and sociable. And everything else, apparently, is unimportant... I will leave purely aesthetic claims, and more to the rest of the audience themselves, because usually this is no longer the competence of cinema administrators. Although, administrators could easily create some kind of video for literally half a minute, which would be broadcast first of all, before even advertising, about banal and cultural norms and rules of behavior in the cinema, such as: try not to laugh out loud, do not make any loud noises, turn off mobile devices, and one of the most important - Do not knock on the seat in front of the person sitting!!! The latter is already a meme, but even that still happens sometimes. What's so difficult about creating such a video? Nothing. Why isn't he here? A rhetorical question. But this is more of a problem for society as a whole than for the cinema, although a cinema that at least respects itself and its audience could well provide such warnings before watching a movie. Well, in the very end, not even a remark, but rather, just an observation about the principle of showing a movie... As soon as the credits start, even if they continue to show any inserts from the film in the background, the lights immediately turn on and everyone gathers, and an employee stands at the entrance... In principle, there's not much to complain about... But what if I'm a pedant? What if I like to watch the credits until the end, especially for a paid ticket? Even if the titles are monotonous and "uninteresting" to watch? And when all the viewers have dispersed, sitting alone and watching the credits is such a thing... I'll be looking at the credits, and the employee at the entrance will be looking at me and won't understand why I'm looking at the credits))) Funny. That's why I have to get up and leave, even if it's the last one, but I still have to... How would I do that, so that I could sit, even if alone, and just watch the credits until the very end, it would be... How can I say it, is it comfortable?! No matter what the employee or anyone else is staring at you. I understand that this is a question for nothing. This is how the very principle of showing movies is made... But nevertheless. But apart from that, I can say that sometimes the credits are completely cut off in half, even if they are difficult, which has happened more than once. And that's exactly what the cinema's remark is appropriate here! The credits are part of the film and they must be shown until the very end... Regardless of who is watching them or not. That's all for me. In total, what we have: The halls are quite comfortable and modern - 9 out of 10. Cinema - if you mean the films themselves and the interest of the films to be shown, just in case, then everything is quite normal here... 7 out of 10. The staff - there's a hitch... The conditional politeness of the staff does not cover individual manifestations of rudeness or lack of professionalism, which is why only 3 out of 10. Weakly. We need to work hard on the professionalism of your employees! Chairs - there are no complaints, they are quite comfortable - 10 out of 10. The atmosphere - meaning the whole cinema, apparently, therefore quite at the level - 8 out of 10. Sound and video are separate complaints about sound, once again, quiet, therefore the sound is 8 out of 10. The video is flawed in places, so it's not high either - 5 out of 10. I don't eat popcorn on principle, so I can't rate it. Except for the fact that for the first half hour it's impossible to watch a movie in crowded halls - it's all munching, not to mention the smell - it feels like you're in a popcorn factory... Not in the movies. Such a thing. Interior - no complaints - 8 out of 10. Cleanliness - no complaints either - 10 out of 10.

I love Starlight! I often come here. The halls are cozy, the chairs are comfortable — you can really relax and get high from the movie. And what is especially pleasing is that it is always clean, it is clear that they are cleaned after each session. It's a small thing, but it feels good. Snacks are a separate love. Nachos and hot sauce are just a bomb! And mag gafin in coconut—flavored yogurt glaze is generally mind-blowing, like Raffaello, only even tastier. The staff here is sincere, always with a smile, without unnecessary officiousness — just like a human being. I want to return to such places.
