The airport is new, nothing really works at night. There are vending machines with water, the cheapest water is 0.5 there costs 3 dirhams. There are toilets. I don't remember about the food, but it looks like McDonald's, but it works until 22:00 and that's it. There is Duty Free, but there is so empty of cosmetics ... but cheaper at prices than in the Dubai Mall in Sephora . The basic something can be selected. Lots of perfume. A huge, new and completely empty airport. A surreal picture of hundreds of idle check-in counters and completely deserted halls. But there is a plus in this. You won't get lost and you won't confuse anything.
In the departure check-in hall, near the main entrance there is a small cafe and a very tiny shop.
There is no superior room.
After registration and border control, the waiting room becomes more fun. There is already a bigger cafe and there is even a McDonald's. And of course there are several Dutifrey stores with a good choice.
One of the disadvantages is the great distance from the city and the almost complete absence of public transport. You can get to the city by taxi. Boarding will cost 20 dirhams. And about 150 dirhams to the center. In total, put at least 170-200 dirhams on the trip. You can get to the nearest metro station "Expo 2020". Then the whole trip will come out about 70 dirhams. They say there are still buses running, but we haven't seen them.
There are exchangers in the arrival area.
