In general, I have been familiar with the Rotana hotel chain for quite a long time, including in Dubai, these are excellent hotels! And this one is no exception, I will not describe the interior, it is on the same level as in any other department in the district, I will write that, apparently, the hotel is located among condominiums, so there are a lot of parked cars and a lot of diverse people who scurry back and forth mainly towards one small grocery store. and basic necessities, which are kept by Hindus.
As it is, there is basically nothing remarkable, the hotel has a beach, a restaurant, and a good room stock.
And the residence of the ruler of the country, where guided tours are also within walking distance.

A good hotel, but not without drawbacks. Although everyone has their own pros and cons, I will describe my own personally, it may be useful :)
The pros are room service, definitely. As they say everywhere that the cleaning is on top, so it is. They come and solve all the problems right away. For example, the water in the sink was leaving badly, they informed us, they immediately sent a master, sorted everything out, fixed it. The floor scales did not work, they immediately brought batteries and so on. In general, just super responsiveness!)
The pool is a huge plus, towels are there, there are enough sun beds, the water is clean, comfortable in temperature.
We had breakfast, the same thing every day, nothing has changed in 9 days. But the choice is normal, a lot of fruits, cheeses and sausages are delicious!!! Which is amazing) Tea and coffee are brought by the officers, who also accompany and put them at the table. Therefore, there are always places, they will put you in. Sometimes there were queues, people were waiting, there was an empty table.
The hotel is beautiful, everything is clean.
Here's a number like that. The furniture is old, but it didn't hurt) the hair dryer is really Valera, it's very funny)) barely dries... there is an ancient iron and board, but they are also excellent) The views from the room are beautiful, we have a palace, and parrots lived in palm trees under the balcony, very cute)))
The beach is a huge minus for us. Although we chose this hotel because of the beach. It's like Anapa... a bunch of people, sun beds in different directions, everything is scattered, screaming children... The beach itself seems to be rather big, but sometimes there were no places at all. The water on November 23 was muddy and cold!!! There is a photo) We swam as many times as possible there, sometimes we came and wanted to leave as soon as possible (((( the pool saved. As a result, we took a taxi to the public free corniche beach, it's just paradise-there are no people, the water is clear, quiet and beautiful)

I didn't like the system of applying cards in the elevator and when going to the beach at the gate)) This is the first time I've seen this! Why is that?!) they asked for a higher floor when checking in, they gave them the 3rd floor! This is the very first residential floor... M-yeah, thanks))) We have not met any Russian-speaking staff in 9 days, only our tour guide from the tour operator, by the way, is excellent)
In general, for us a 4-star hotel. Everything seems to be fine, but the disadvantages are significant)

It is difficult to rate this hotel. I just didn't have the expectation and the reality. Most likely, there is very little infrastructure space for such a large number of guests. You always have to wait: wait at the reception, park the car, wait, return the car from the parking lot. In the restaurant, you will be escorted and seated at a table, like a plus, because it is not an option that a company of 3 people will sit at a table for 12. We are in the hotel for the 6th time already. Everything suits me and I really like it. The beach is 100m from the exit, sand, clean water, both for children and adults, there is a raft from which you can dive, as well as catamarans for rent and more. The food is excellent and always of high quality. The service is excellent. The staff is friendly and caring, but there are no Russian speakers. The location of the hotel is just the epicenter: between the Presidential Palace, Emirates Palace and Etihad Towers.

We were at the May holidays this year. A nice hotel with its own, but not very large beach. The service in the restaurant and on the beach is average. The location is convenient, in the evening there is where to walk and what to see. The staff is polite, but not in a hurry. The room was clean and spacious with a view of the bay. There is enough food, but fruits except bananas, apples / plums, most often in sliced form, like fruit salad ... themed dinners are interesting, the assortment for breakfast is good, there is oatmeal porridge, I know that many are interested in these moments.
In general, a good family hotel, but a four, not a five, and if you want to relax and see some sights, then the choice is worthy.

The hotel has a fairly good location, 5 minutes walk to the Presidential Palace, the Emirates Palace Hotel, 15 minutes to the Kornezh embankment. The territory has its own beach, with a large swimming pool and sun beds. There is a decent fitness and a Jacuzzi area. Very friendly staff, trying to please to the maximum. There is a small super market next to the hotel. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to Yas Island.
The rooms are very spacious, clean, I think almost all the rooms have a great view, we got a room with a gorgeous view of the presidential palace.
Of the minuses, I can only note that if you need to eat somewhere. moreover, a sane place is Abu Dhabi Pier, which is 40-50 minutes on foot or by taxi, you can try to wait for the bus, there is a stop nearby.

An ideal hotel for a calm and measured rest. I've been here 3 times already and I'm thrilled every time. Check-in takes place as quickly as possible, they try to check in on arrival even in the morning. The room is huge, there is everything: bathrobes/slippers, bathroom accessories, water/tea/coffee, even an iron and ironing board. I especially like that the room has both a full bath and a shower cabin. The balcony is also huge and has great views (either of the royal palace or the sea). I took breakfast, a selection of food for every taste, including local dishes, ordinary European bacon / eggs / hash browns, a lot of greens / vegetables / fruits, there is a separate counter with food for children, and of course a large selection of various pastries. It's hard not to get better here)) The pool is large, refreshing in the heat, when coolly heated. I like that I left the hotel and here is the pool right away, followed by the beach, white soft sand, a calm bay, plenty of sun beds, there are always places both by the pool and on the beach. A bonus is the beautiful views of the neighboring towers for photos. I went to the gym, of course, the equipment and simulators can be updated a little, but I understand that only a few use it, it is not much in demand. The location is also great for me, there are no hardworking Indians and Pakistanis on the street, you can go out and take a quiet walk along the embankment. Near the Marina Mall, there is an exchange and a Carrefour on -1, there are also many cafes and shops. And again, unlike Abu Dhabi Mall, there are not many people (mostly local). We rested at this hotel in July 2023. I liked the hotel. Very clean. Room cleaning 2 times a day. They replenish the water every time. We were given 4 bottles for two, usually, if there was not enough, we were asked to put more, without any problems we increased the number of bottles. Towels were also changed 2 times a day. The bed linen was changed 2 times for 8 nights.
We ate at the main restaurant. They never left hungry. There was a delicious chicken kebab almost every day, once rolls, black burgers and hot dogs, different desserts and popcorn are very tasty) the son was satisfied) there is also vegetarian food, if it is important for anyone) we arrived late, around 12 at night. A late dinner was brought to our room. They gave me a small menu. After about 30 minutes, they already brought it. The portions were huge. Couldn't even eat everything)
There were always enough sunbeds by the pool and on the beach. The bay is very warm, there are no waves. The pool is cool, after the bay is the most😊
The staff is smiling, responsive. All issues are resolved quickly. There was only one Russian-speaking girl at the reception. With the rest through an interpreter if you don't know English.

We live with our family now in this hotel . Clean beach, spacious room, VERY friendly and attentive staff! Separately, I want to mention the gym- 10 out of 10 !!!
On food- even with an allergic child, we can always find something to eat.
From the fact that it is a little annoying - it is necessary to occupy the sun beds in the morning , since there are a lot of guests , and the beach is small .
And the hotel has a cool location relative to the promenade!

It's gorgeous out of season, but keep in mind that this is not the sea (but it can be seen from the photos on the web) = a hot puddle (I'm talking about July), but a cooled pool saves the situation by 100%. In February 2024, we went on vacation. The wishes for the hotel were: heated swimming pool, first line, accessibility to attractions. Since this is our second trip, we chose Abu Dhabi.
We were 100% satisfied with the hotel.
Arriving at the hotel and going to the reception, we were greeted by the good-natured staff. We arrived ahead of check-in time, but we were found a great room with a sea view.
I would like to mention the food at the hotel, which is represented by 3 restaurants and a pool bar. In the horizon restaurant we attended breakfasts and it was a wide variety of breakfasts, there was a main menu and stations that changed every day: you could go to any one and they would make you a toast from what you want, waffles, pancakes and different types of egg dishes.
Horizon was also visited for dinner. On certain days, the hotel's cuisine turns into Italian, Asian. We got to the Italian-style buffet. It is very diverse and incredibly delicious. There are several types of pasta, you could also come up and ask the chef to cook it for you, a large number of types of cheese, desserts (from a variety of pan cats to traditional Italian Canoli).
On the first day we visited the cafe in the hotel Lobby and were amazed by the portions. They are huge, they took all the dishes for 2-3 people. For such a price, we received a high-quality, delicious dish.
Kamoon Cafe on site: Arabic cuisine. If you want to try something national, then this is a great choice. For 3 people, we paid 310 aed (almost the same as the buffet at dinner(330aed)). Before the ordered dishes, we received a compliment in the form of hot tortillas, olives, hummus and pomegranate dressing. We noted for ourselves lentil soup, salad with Quinoa and shrimp, beef kebab (on the menu these are beef cubes), homemade potatoes and French fries (it is served with spices and is perceived as a separate finished dish). Everything is very tasty! We sat and watched the view of the evening pool. There is also an area on the street where live music is played.
Drinks and coconut were taken by the pool, but you can also have a snack: everything is brought in very convenient trays.
The pool is large, heated, and there is a separate area for kids. The heating of the pool let us down a little - the first days we swam without problems, it was very warm. After 3 days, we felt that the water was not heating up as before.
The room cleaning is great, you can adjust it with a button whether it is required or not. Every day, sufficient water was brought to the room, but if necessary, you could ask for more, tea, sugar, and coffee were added. Everything you need, if you forgot something, is in the room (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, cream) of good quality.
There is a good walking area next to the hotel, past the palace and the Emirates Palace Hotel.
If you are looking for a Mall and the opportunity to change money, there is a Marina Mall near the hotel. You can ask for a taxi at the reception or order a Careem. We compared prices, if they were the same, we ordered a more comfortable taxi.
I would like to mention the staff of the hotel and restaurants separately! Everything is at the highest level. They are smiling, always ready to help, prompt.
If you plan to visit the sights of Abu Dhabi, it is better to do it yourself (buy tickets and get to the place: the Louvre, the Palace, the White Mosque. We took a sightseeing tour from the tour operator and regretted it 1000 times, I assume they are all the same. There was very little time, a lot of haste and in any case there were queues, despite the group. It is impossible to visit the mosque in 40 minutes, view the paintings in the Louvre, and walk around all corners of the palace. If you are offered to go to the date market, do not agree, it was included in the overview (the usual 1 row of small shops like in food city, where the visiting group is taken to a certain store, handed tasteless dates in soy chocolate, given 15 minutes for everything and loaded back into the bus)
We found very tasty dates in the same Marina mall in Carefour by weight (everyone gives a try, do not hesitate to ask). And if it's your first time, then try Bateel too.
To sum up, we can say that we were satisfied with the hotel. The tour is not the fault of the hotel, but I would like to warn you.
This is a great family vacation, which we are happy to recommend!

This is a plus for vegetables, nuts and fruits.

The reception is ready to smash into a pancake, but to help. I don't do cleaning at home like that.
The beach is 50 m from the exit of the hotel through the park and the pool, or rather through the pool in a small park.
