We visited this highly regarded restaurant with high expectations, but overall left a bit underwhelmed. To start, we ordered the red peppers with cream—this was easily the highlight of the meal. It was unique, flavorful, and really well done. For mains, we had the pork ribs (300g) and the salmon with barbloc and red caviar. The salmon was a solid 4.5/5—very tasty and well-prepared, though by the end it felt quite heavy on salt and overwhelmed the palate a bit. The ribs, unfortunately, didn’t quite hit the mark for us (2.5/5). Of course, this is subjective—my husband is from Texas, so it’s hard not to compare—but they lacked the depth and richness we were hoping for. On the side, the mashed potatoes were smooth in texture but fell flat in flavor (2/5). The mushrooms were average (3/5), with a slightly rubbery texture that reminded us of frozen mushrooms, and they lacked any real bite. The accompanying gravy was overly salty and a bit heavy on the chives. That said, the service was great—attentive staff, and we appreciated having an English menu and servers who spoke some English. Overall, there were a few standout elements, but the meal as a whole didn’t quite live up to the restaurant’s reputation.

Perhaps one of the most delicious, generous places. Water is free, that's important. Not everyone offers this option. The cost of meat and steaks corresponds to the quality. Very tasty aged steaks and Greek salad, interesting snacks, everything always looks elegant on the plate! The service depends on the mood of the waiters, I would like them to be more friendly, but in general everything is OK. By the way, there is a very good points system, and even a nice gift is awarded for a birthday. With these bonuses, you can order a lot of things from the menu, which is very captivating; but most of all, of course, the quality of the food, good chefs!

It's a very pleasant place. The service is very attentive and friendly. The guys have excellent knowledge of the menu and wine. The steaks are very decent, the cuisine is excellent. The last time I took a cradle, I was not thrilled, they were very dry, it spoiled the impression. Otherwise, I strongly recommend it. The price tag is also not small- stock up on money! It's worth it!

It's a great place. Meat dishes, including national ones. The wine room is excellent and the sommelier can always help you choose the wine for dinner. If the task is to bring business partners or just spend a cultural evening with a company, Beefeater is your choice.

Meat quality - 4/5 Roasting of meat - 5/5 Steak size - 5/5 Steak price - 0/5 Terrible overprice! 90k tenge/15k rubles for 2 steaks, salad, tea, 1 snack. This is 2-2.5 times more expensive than a Moscow steakhouse of a comparable level! There is no filet mignon (only horse meat), beef is essentially just three types of rib eye, the meat is quite fatty. The chefs know their stuff and the roasting was excellent. But the scariest overprice and the absence of filet mignon is absolutely a minus! I didn't see anything that would justify such a high price tag.

An amazing place in Almaty! The wine list and menu are all very decent. We drank Kazakh Saperavi 2016 from Arba Wine winery, had a steak from the heart of a horse, beef tartare, and sliced deer and horse meat … but the most delight is, of course, the marrow bones ... here both the serving and the taste complement each other and I strongly recommend trying them in this establishment ... and liqueurs for an aperitif… That's what we love... and then they fire 🔥

After the incident, I waited for feedback from Manager Aldan for more than a day, but apparently the management did not consider it necessary to respond, so I will leave a review here. We love your restaurant very much, and every visit for us is always a small event that we go to with pleasure. That's why it's doubly disappointing that we were so unlucky one evening. I understand that you have a perfect reputation on Yandex, and perhaps this is just a single misfire, but we were poisoned, and it was not just a slight indisposition, but a real extravaganza. And the most annoying thing is that you paid your own money to get such severe poisoning, where you shouldn't think about it at all. In a place where you rely on quality and care, this becomes a particularly severe blow. I am leaving this review not to reproach anyone, but rather with a feeling of disappointment. If such a situation happens once, no one is immune from the second or third. It seems to me that the top management should be aware that there is already such a "beginning" of the problem, so that the guests will not encounter the same thing in the future. I'm attaching the receipt. I was counting on understanding and dialogue, but apparently not this time. P.S. and let the waiters already learn the prices of wine by the glasses, each time the lottery is in the bill.

We love this place, insanely delicious steaks and tar tar. Lemonades are the most suitable for food, not too sweet, but they complement the taste and do not interrupt. A wide range of wines for meat. Disappointed. It was better a year ago. I ordered a rib eye steak, and they brought it ready, very thin. The bill stated that the original piece was 330 grams. Part of the steak was badly burnt, with a taste of black crust from the fire, as I understand it. The waitress offered a free dessert as an apology. Well, of course.
