Hotel Riu Dubai: An unforgettable holiday in Dubai!
Our holiday at Hotel Riu Dubai exceeded all expectations! From the very beginning we felt at home - friendly staff, stylish rooms and a wonderful atmosphere created a feeling of real comfort.
What we especially liked:
* Location: The hotel is located right on the beach, with stunning views of the Arabian Gulf. Dubai city center can be easily reached by taxi or public transport.
*Rooms: The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We stayed in a room overlooking the sea, and waking up to the sound of the waves was just wonderful.
* Meals: Varied and delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The buffet included a variety of national and international dishes, fresh seafood and desserts.
* Swimming pools: The hotel offers several swimming pools, including one for adults, where you can relax and sunbathe.

This is not a 4*, but all 5*. A beautiful, new hotel. The first coastline and its own beach. There are always free sun beds, both on the beach and at the pool. A large selection of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seafood was always served, even tuna steak. The main restaurant has good service, it was not possible to get to the restaurants by appointment, since everything was booked a week in advance. The alcohol in the bars is decent. The animation is not intrusive, which pleased me. Be prepared that there is nothing outside the hotel, a deserted area. The center is 20 minutes away by taxi.

First time at the hotel. I liked everything very much. The food is varied, perfectly cooked, seafood every day-shrimp, squid, octopuses. Lots of grilling. Desserts at lunch and in the evening, there are few of them, but they are delicious. The service is excellent- fast. There is a large beach, there are enough sun beds for everyone. The hotel is located far from the central streets of Dubai. There are no walking streets and shops in the vicinity. The nearest supermarket (though a large one) is only by taxi. So the rest is only a hotel! Ala Turkish "all inclusive". The food is fine, varied and delicious. Nice hotel. It is located near the airport, but away from attractions and shops. The only way to get to all the activities is by taxi.

Many write in the reviews that they were annoyed by the planes that were constantly flying. Yes, it's true, planes can fly every 5 minutes, but to be honest, it didn't interfere with our rest at all, on the contrary, it added some zest.

Strong 4*. For 5 * there is not enough beautiful entrance group with a hall, glass elevators, normal cosmetics in bathrooms, drinking water not only in two-liter baklashki, but also in half-liter bottles.
One of the disadvantages is the proximity of the airport with the corresponding noise from airplanes.
If someone goes to bed before 23:30, they may encounter noise from discos and shows organized by the hotel.

We rested in Rio Dubai in the middle of August for 7 days. It's a 20-minute drive from the airport. We arrived at the hotel around 14.00 on Saturday. The hotel was 100% full. We were sent to lunch and then checked in.

Entertainment events are held every evening, as in Turkey, until 23.00-00.00. then silence comes and only the sports bar and the bar with alcohol are open. There is nothing to do, they are not allowed to enter the hotel. You can only stay in the bar or reception area. Alcohol in the room after 00.00 cannot be taken out of the bar either, security does not let it out.
Travel to the city, only by taxi. To Burj Khalifa in the area of 50 dirhams. It is better to take a taxi with yellow checkers near the hotel or any shopping center. Yandex turns out to be more expensive for the application. Taxi cars are mostly toyota Camry. They always take you by the meter.
The hotel is a great replacement for Turkish or Egyptian holidays. There is nothing to spend money on, only on excursions.

Super roller coasters!!!!! And good food, there are clean pasta , broccoli , chicken , duck ! Without adding sauces, it's very good for kids! Otherwise, the rooms are very small, the pools are as usual everywhere! Animation is normal every day.

I was vacationing with my wife and child at this hotel in November. I was satisfied with absolutely everything. The food is at the level of a 5 star hotel and even better than some five stars (I have something to compare it with, even in the Emirates). The hotel is quite new, the rooms are not tired. The food is excellent, a lot of types of meat, seafood and ice cream with different syrups and powders (last year I rested in the top five, in Rice Al Alham - there was no ice cream at all, and the nutrition is "trouble"). There are 3 Ala carte restaurants (Italian, Asian and Lebanese). The beach is huge, clean, white sand. The sea is also clean. Every evening, entertainment for children and adults. A DJ cafe is open in the evenings, but not for long, until about 23:00. On alcohol: everything is also on the level here, from the very morning (from 10:00), Aperol, Prosecco, Whiskey, Vodka, beer, etc., begin to flow like a river! There is also an ice cream bar on the beach. There is a water park at the hotel, for children and adults. By the pools during the day, there is animation for children and adults. The food was Buffet style, taken to the beach and to the room, no one said a word. Alcohol was quietly taken to the room in the evening, too, no one forbade it! Since the hotel is located on an island 20 minutes away from Dubai Airport, planes take off and land over the hotel. It was rather fun for us, we didn't feel any inconvenience! There is a 24-hour sports bar where you can always have a snack: burgers, sandwiches, fruits and desserts. There are Saps, catamarans, etc. on the beach (all for free). I have only one question left: WHY DOES THE HOTEL HAVE 4 STARS???
