We rested at this hotel in early September. The hotel not only met, but even exceeded expectations. We were given the keys to a room with a balcony that had a view of both the desert and the city (31st floor). Moreover, this room was a higher class than it was booked with the tour operator. There is no deposit at the hotel. Only mandatory tourist tax. For 8 nights, 105 dirhams came out. The late check out was also extended for free. They were also settled ahead of time
Friendly English-speaking staff work at the reception. Upon check-in, luggage is immediately picked up and delivered to the room. Not all fours have such a service.
Food:We took HB. There was everything for breakfast, so I don't quite understand the comments about monotonous breakfasts. Every morning, omelets, boiled eggs, fresh fruits, vegetables, pancakes, bacon, sausages, rustic potatoes and cereals, etc. were served. Everything that is usually eaten for breakfast. Lunch was also delicious, delicious desserts were served (the red velvet cake is incomparable). And the dinners were generally themed depending on the day of the week (Italian, Mexican, Thai, etc.). A full variety of dishes.
Room equipment: everything you needed was in the room (standard - hairdryer, terry bathrobe, slippers, towels). From the unusual: there is an ironing board with an iron, a rug for Muslims and a Koran in English. In addition, two bottles of water were brought every day and tea and coffee were renewed - for free!
As for cleaning, we cleaned every day. Towels were changed, shower accessories were changed regularly, the bed was changed at the request of the guests.
Infrastructure: the hotel is located 12 minutes from the metro station. In the heat, it was quite difficult to get even this time, so we spent more time on taxis to kite beach. It costs around 40 dirhams in one direction. But there is a free transfer there and from the hotel, but they take you to the very sun, which is not very convenient + you need to make an appointment in advance.
The hotel guests come from different countries: many Indians, Spaniards, Chinese, Kazakhs and Russians. German speech was also heard. A real mix of cultures, and it reflected the multiculturalism of Dubai.
Of those facilities that were used, this is a complex of rooftop pools. There was nothing special about them - but it helped to cool down. It should be understood that there is no animation and alcohol in the hotel, the hotel is more business.
Summarizing, if you do not need to be constantly at sea and you are ready to spend money on a taxi or subway, appreciate the comfort and good attitude of the hotel staff, then this is a good choice

Breakfast is a buffet, if you don't pile everything in a row, then you can collect 2-3 different breakfasts and alternate them so as not to get bored. Lunch is fixed, every day is new - first, second and salad. Dinner - every day a dish of a new cuisine, buffet.
The staff is beyond praise. Cleaning is daily, if you set a certain status, tea, coffee and water in the room changes every day. There is a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, kettle, microwave, washing machine and cooking utensils with a stove (in the apartment). The room is cool because of the air conditioner and humid (probably everywhere is so, very humid, like in a zoo when you go to the butterflies). There is a swimming pool, the water in it is warm, but you can cool down.
In general, the hotel is good for its 4 stars.

Unlucky with the weather, it's not so sunny, I didn't like the sightseeing tour, it's a waste of time, it's better to go around everything yourself and slowly get acquainted with all the sights. The location of the hotel is at a sufficient distance from the city center and the ocean line, by taxi an average of 80 dirhams one way, otherwise you will not regret it.

The Millennium Place Barsha Heights Hotel Apartments 4* rested from March 28 to April 6, 2023.
We chose between it and the Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites 4*, where we rested a year ago. The choice towards the Millennium was made because of the cheaper price. Although, looking ahead, I can say that the cheaper price did not affect the service in any way.
... We arrived at the hotel around 10.30. The receptionist helped us carry our suitcases into the hall and later delivered them to the room. We waited about two hours for check-in, which in principle was not burdensome, since we settled comfortably on soft and large sofas.
There is no deposit, but some kind of fee is taken (I don't remember what it's called) for each night of stay at the hotel. We paid 135 dirhams. By the way, payment is taken only in dirhams, so it is better to exchange a small amount in advance at the airport for these purposes.
There was not a single Russian-speaking employee at the reception. So if you don't know the language at all, it will probably be a little difficult.
By the way, in the hall of the hotel there is a souvenir shop and a shop that sells honey, perfume and something else.
We were given a room on the 13th floor. It was an apartment: large, spacious, beautiful with a view of the city. There is a separate bedroom area, there is a semblance of a small living room, as well as a kitchen with a stove, microwave, electric kettle, two-chamber refrigerator, washing machine, a set of dishes (there are even pots and a frying pan). A set of tea / coffee is replenished daily and 0.5 liters of water in a bottle per person are placed. The bathroom has disposable sets of gels, shampoos, soaps. There are no Russian channels on the TV. Of course, it didn't matter to us, but it probably matters to someone. Adapters for sockets are not needed. Everything fits our Russian electrical appliances.
There is an electronic scoreboard in front of the room, where you can set one of the items: "get out", "do not disturb", "change underwear" and so on.
The restaurant is located in the tower next to the apartment. You can eat outside or in the hall. There are a lot of people for breakfast, but it is always possible to find free places. By the way, the birds will be ready to share breakfast with you on the street, which are always on guard when you put a plate of food on the table and go for the next portion of food))).
In the buffet restaurant, fried eggs and scrambled eggs are prepared on the street near the pool.
Dinner (we had it included in the ticket price) starts at 19.30. It takes place in the same restaurant as breakfast. however, because of Ramadan, its time was reduced to 21.00, which, by the way, we found out quite by accident on the first day. We were somehow not warned about this at the reception. And probably this is the only disadvantage of the hotel. Imagine: someone paid for dinner, came at 21.00, and the doors of the restaurant closed in his face... There is also a buffet for dinner, there is no tea and coffee (you can ask for an additional fee), but there is water and some concentrated juices (free of charge). Meat is fried outside, shawarma is made.
In general, we liked everything about nutrition. It's delicious, the food is fresh, the food is quite diverse.
The swimming pool is located next to the restaurant. There were always places on the sun loungers. A towel is either on a chaise longue, or you can take it from the attendant near the pool...Returning to the more expensive Mercure Dubai Barsha Heights Hotel Suites 4*, I want to say that the pool is worse there. It is located on the top floor and is covered with a net from above, which makes it impossible to sunbathe.
From the hotel there is a minibus to the KITE BEACH. It is necessary to register in advance. It is possible to book a place 3-4 days in advance. Everything is free. There is also a bus to JBR Beach. There is no need to sign up for it, but there are only enough seats for a few people, since it comes almost full, taking people from some other hotel. You can't drive standing up... The bus schedule is not very convenient, because they take people back only at 15.00, it turns out that you are on the beach in the sun... We went with a hotel transfer only to KITE beach, but we were already returning by taxi.
It seems that there are transfers from the hotel to some shopping centers, but we did not use them, because we moved only by taxi and metro.
The metro from the hotel is a 15-minute walk away. There is absolutely no point in taking a taxi, as some write in the reviews. You can walk to the metro along the roadway, the hotel will remain on the right side, the roadway - on the left. it's impossible to get lost. There is a grocery store, a pharmacy, several cafes in Dorga.
This is not the first time we have been in Dubai, and I can safely say that if you are looking for a good city hotel, you do not need a beach within walking distance, then Millennium is more than suitable for your request. To the hotel - a solid "five". Many thanks to the staff for the good work!

Check-in after 2 p.m., we asked for a room with a good view - we were given the 32nd floor with a kitchen and a washing machine, we were pleasantly surprised.
In the room, it seemed to me, it is already possible to make cosmetic repairs, broken corners of furniture / walls, there are flaws in the bathroom. But in general it is very clean, cleaned well, every day. Bed linen is changed every 2 days. The room temperature is adjustable. Keep in mind that there are no Russian outlets. You can buy an adapter at the nearest Carrefour store (500₽). The phone can be charged via USB (but it is inconvenient, because the USB input is located near the mirror, not near the bed).
Breakfasts were included - they are monotonous, but delicious. They didn't stay hungry. Tea/coffee, juices, eggs of various types, fruits and vegetables, pancakes and more. The location of the hotel is generally convenient, but it is far from the metro, next time we will take a closer look.
