St. Stanislaus Church in Lyadsk is a place with a deep history and a surprisingly kind, mysterious atmosphere. The red brick temple (1905) preserves traces of time on its walls: here you can see a bullet hole left over from the Second World War. The old graves of the priests who served here many decades ago have been preserved in the backyard. This is a very friendly and peaceful place where time freezes and the real spirit of antiquity is felt. Be sure to look behind the church and pay attention to the foundation — the names of the founding parishioners are stamped on the stones.
