We celebrated my birthday in Baku with my husband and daughter. Arriving from cold Moscow, we stayed at this hotel, the staff of which did EVERYTHING to make us happy. I think I've been smiling for all the 7 days (even in my sleep) that we've lived here. (numbers 326 and 313). Great location!! On my birthday, the staff brought out a cake with candles, and then the manager treated other guests on my behalf. It was very exciting when they turned around and congratulated me personally in their own language. The breakfasts are excellent!!! Additionally, you could order scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, and toast. There is also an elevator. Both of our rooms were in excellent condition, everything was working.Many thanks to Gulnara for her purity and kindness, to Ibad for his kindness, and to Galina for her understanding. Special thanks to the hotel manager. I think he makes the staff perfect.

Nice hotel, very conveniently located in the center, the rooms are spacious and the breakfasts are very good. The most important advantage of this hotel is the guys who work in it. We had a big problem booking an apartment through booking and the taxi driver recommended this hotel to us. We arrived without a call, they came to meet us, found a good room, and taking into account that we were 4 people (2 adults and 2 children), they brought us two huge suitcases to the room. And in the future, at any request, they always tried to help and find a solution. The only thing you need to be prepared for is that the hotel does not have an elevator, but if there are no problems with sports uniforms, then I highly recommend it. Thank you very much (grazie 😊)

Great hotel! Convenient location, walking everywhere or using a taxi, inexpensive and quick access to all the attractions. Nice staff. Everything is clean and tidy. The rooms are cleaned every day, and the bed linen and towels are incredibly comfortable. The staff is helpful, a nice girl who cleans the rooms. They will help you solve any of your non-accommodation issues. The reception is always available, there was no such thing that we went down and there was no one there. We had a rest with the children, we have something to compare it with) The cook cooks deliciously, we took several recipes from her to make great cookies at home) We recommend you to visit) The hotel is definitely suitable for travel both in terms of cost and quality.

A hotel is like a hotel. The rooms have been in need of renovation for a long time. Flimsy shelves. The furniture in the rooms is all in different styles. There is a refrigerator, but it did not work, or rather it worked, but it was covered in water (thawing). The electronic card didn't work for us either, it was opened with a key, and the card was taped to the wall. It's scary to step on the carpet in the room, it's clean but battered. We had a view of a concrete fence on the 2nd floor, and my friends on the 4th floor had a view of the favellas, which they want to demolish, but they haven't reached their hands yet))) The air conditioner is working. There is a kettle in the room, but not a single tea bag is provided in the room, I had to buy it at the supermarket. In the photo, everything doesn't seem to be bad, but in reality it's sad. We lived for 3 days and all the breakfasts were cold (fried eggs and omelet). It feels like they're cooking long before breakfast and in another place, but they're just being brought here. We told the staff, they said what needed to be said and they would have warmed it up in the microwave! This confirms that the food is not fresh and is being prepared elsewhere, but is only being delivered to the hotel. Before that, we lived in several hotels in Georgia and Azerbaijan, and breakfast was prepared right there everywhere. What could be easier than frying an icing or an amlet? Nevertheless, the staff is responsive and Russian-speaking. There is no elevator, stairs at the entrance to the hotel (at the reception and on all floors. The stairs are still normal up to the 2nd floor, but above that they are rounded and have shallow steps. I do not recommend the hotel to old people and those with health problems. There is Wi-Fi. There is a TV in the rooms, but no TV :) Only the Internet is connected to the smart TV, so you enter your account and use it, even for a fee, even for free. There is the same YouTube and other applications. One of the advantages is that there is a park nearby where you can walk. There is also a mosque there. But the old town is very far away. The staff speaks Russian. There is a supermarket just down the street (at the intersection) where you can buy everything you need. The maximum is a three-star hotel, and that's a stretch, not the stated four. Before that, we lived in another hotel at the same price, where it was better, but there were no places and we had to check in here.

Young girls, come here) First of all, I want to say that the location of the hotel is just perfect - there are many supermarkets around, the old town is 10 minutes away at a leisurely pace, and the Nagorny Park is a little longer. And most importantly, the transfer can go directly to the hotel! I saw a few girls in the old town who killed the wheels of suitcases on the cobblestones, because the transfer can't go over the fortress wall, and I was very glad that I didn't choose a hotel there. The Maestro's taxi pulls up right at the entrance - it's very convenient)) The breakfasts are the same every day- cucumbers, tomatoes, boiled eggs, sausages, two types of omelets, some kind of fried unsweetened rolls, bread, two types of muffins, apples, tangerines, muesli balls, milk. Satisfying, you'll definitely stay hungry. The staff is all young, i.e. they don't understand much Russian, so it wouldn't be bad to know English. There's no elevator because the building is old, but the guys at the reception are helping to lift and lower the suitcases. The Wi-Fi is working fine. But the TV is only from the Internet, they set it up for me twice because it crashed. There are 2 bottles of water in the room every day, but if necessary, there is a cooler with water and free tea on the ground floor. My 404 number was absolutely not up to 4 stars. A maximum of 2*. There was only a bed and a clothes rack. There was no closet, chair, dressing table, or refrigerator. Very, very poor equipment. And in other rooms, I saw cupboards and armchairs, everything that was supposed to be. But I had a view of the street, not the courtyard. Apparently not two peas per spoonful)) I won't lower my rating because of Nahid's manager. Girls, he's as handsome as a God! And single!)) So if you are young and good-looking, then you have a chance)) Nahid is a smart girl. Immediately upon check-in, he gives his WhatsApp number, write to him and all issues will be resolved immediately. If you didn't get to Nahida when checking in, then at the reception on the flyer where the Wi-Fi password is indicated, its number is indicated (photo attached). And right in front of the hotel is the house museum, where Mstislav Rostropovich was born and grew up (I could see this museum from the window. And then I took a picture of my windows on the 4th floor from the museum - I also attach a photo). The entrance is only 2 manats, and for 5 manats you will be given a 40-minute tour. I really liked it)) Summary: I recommend the hotel.

We had a rest with my husband at the Maestro Hotel on M. Rostropovich Street, 30. The hotel has a very convenient location, not far from the old town of Icheri Sheher, close to the metro and opposite the Mstislav Rostropovich House Museum. There are large chain stores and small markets close to the hotel, as well as a good and varied selection of products. There are many cafes and restaurants in Baku, which are also located close to the hotel. You won't stay hungry. The Maestro Hotel is cozy, intimate, and harmonious. The room matches the description on the website, cleaning and cleanliness every day. In the lobby of the hotel, everything reflects the connection with Maestro Rostropovich – photos, paintings, musical instruments, a retro exhibition. Breakfast is an Azerbaijani buffet. We were fed with love and warmth. Chef Tonya prepared delicious, homemade dishes, taking into account the national characteristics of the hotel guests. Special thanks to her for introducing us to Azerbaijani cuisine, and we will include some recipes in our diet. The friendliness, hospitality of the staff and comfort created a homely atmosphere. One of the disadvantages is the lack of an elevator. But our room was located on the 2nd floor and everything was fine with us. We are very pleased with our stay in Baku and at the Maestro Hotel. A normal hotel, spacious rooms. We lived in it during an excursion tour, in stage 2a (we spent the night in Sheki, where we also stayed in a foursome). Therefore, I had the experience of living in 2 rooms and comparing it with another 4* hotel - Maestro wins. All the top places are 20 minutes away on foot, easy to navigate with the navigator. Breakfast is standard, with several dishes of eggs, cheese, sausage, pastries, muesli, vegetables, etc. Yes, there are not many of them, but this is justified by the small number of rooms in the hotel. During our entire stay (5 nights), there were no empty dishes in the serving area. Once there was porridge, but no one took it. The room has a kettle, slippers, bath and soap products, and water is replenished daily. Bazar supermarket is literally a 2-minute walk away (I liked it better than Spar and Bravo). During the day, there was always a staff at the reception who spoke perfect Russian, and in the evening they also managed to explain themselves. Everyone at the reception was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in the center of Baku, within walking distance of shops, as well as all attractions, including the old town, Shirvanshahs Castle, maiden Tower. The room has everything you need, clean and tidy. The room was cleaned every day. A buffet breakfast, tea, and coffee are available. During the day, tea can be freely drunk without restrictions. The staff is friendly, but none of them speak Russian. I was at the hotel in the middle of March, the rooms are very cold. The view from the room that I got shocked me a little - it was a wall and part of the landscape (photo attached). I'll tell you about the breakfasts separately - they were the worst breakfasts I've seen in hotels, and I travel a lot. In the morning, plates covered with foil were waiting for me with a couple of pieces of cheese, a triangle of wrapped omelet, olives, a couple of slices of bread and a couple of cupcakes and instant coffee. So when my tour ended and I still had time in Baku, I was happy to move to another hotel.

Of the advantages: The hotel has an excellent location. Close to the sights. But otherwise: The hotel does not correspond to 4*. He doesn't even pull 2*. But the main thing is that the rooms are dirty! There was no mattress in the first room we were checked into. What was lying on the bed was definitely not a mattress. We were given a condition for moving to another room: either pay extra or write a great review. Unfortunately, most customers probably choose the second option. There is no other way to explain why this hotel with its "photoshopped" room photos has so many positive reviews.

Very helpful staff, good cleaning, breakfasts may not be very varied, but everything is prepared with a soul. There is not enough bar to sit in the evening, especially the view from the 3rd floor is gorgeous. The hotel is really located close to all the sights of Baku and this, I think, is the only +. There was not even toilet paper or a kettle in the room. The bed linen, in particular the sheets, was much smaller than the mattress, this problem caused a lot of inconvenience. During the entire time of our vacation, we did not have our rooms cleaned, our bed linen was not changed, and the garbage was never taken out. The breakfasts are very meager and monotonous (yogurt, boiled egg, a piece of sausage and cheese) and so on every morning. Breakfast started at 9 o'clock, which is very inconvenient, especially on those days when we had to go on an excursion. The money is certainly not big, but the service wants the best.

Great hotel. The breakfasts are the same, but everything is fresh, delicious, the guys are doing well, trying to please everyone. There was a slight misunderstanding, but everything was resolved in the morning as we arrived late at night due to flight delays. The location is one of the most excellent, as the Icherisheher metro station is 10 minutes away from the hotel, and from there to anywhere in the city. The old town is behind the wall from the metro, the embankment with moles is within walking distance. I definitely recommend it. We left two days ago, but I already want to come back, 5 days is not enough.

What are the 4 stars???? The hostel, moreover, is located in some kind of ghetto. We were offered to move there after the fire in our hotel, well at least we went in advance, looked at it and ran away to a normal chain hotel)))) It is slightly more expensive, but we did not find ourselves in the trash to live in such a place. In general, I do not recommend it. Migrants in the Moscow City Center live in the best conditions.

For me, there are 3 honest stars, there are 4 declared ones. Friendly staff. They know Russian, but it will be easier in English. In general, everything is decent. Of the "living creatures" - only mosquitoes, but there was a fumigator in the room, which slightly saved. The hot water was uninterrupted. The batteries were working (if you don't forget to turn on the regulator on them). The air conditioner was also working, but apparently it hadn't been cleaned for a long time... The location is quite convenient, there is a good supermarket 100 meters away, you can easily order room service and shopping. There is an early check-in and a late check-out. Of the minuses: exactly the same breakfast every day (not a buffet, alas), a complete lack of ventilation in the bathroom, as a result, a slight smell of sewage in it, the staff should be reminded about cleaning if it is needed. And if you sleep with the window open, then besides mosquitoes there will also be a wake-up call for morning prayer...

Caused me a lot of problems with account recovery. In fact, it's a dirty diner that no one does. All Russians are housed in a kennel on the highest floor. No elevator, no TV!
