The hotel is not new, but the staff tries to keep everything in order. The beach is clean, sun beds with mattresses, many canopies in the form of umbrellas. This is a plus. There is a separate opinion on food, we rested from May 24 to June 2, 2024.There are very few people, about 12 people, everyone got to know each other. On the day of arrival, we arrived early, you will not be fed breakfast, (we took breakfast, dinner) You can buy it, the bullying is terrible. We changed dinner for lunch, brought the menu, there are only two sheets, they are changed, one sheet a day, another day))) The breakfast buffet is very poor, but you can ask for an omelette. For lunch, choose either beef, chicken, or fish. You are served a set lunch, that the cook will come up with such a soup, salad and dessert you will eat. Of the drinks, you are allowed only YUPPIE mango, every day, you can't change it for a coke or something else. And it does not depend on the cook and the waiters (by the way, they are wonderful) such an order of the management. People who took all inclusive were shocked. Drinks are served only after a meal in the restaurant, nothing will be poured for you for free during the day. Two half-liter bottles of water are placed in the room. We went to the store and bought for ourselves. We went because it's 1 km to the supermarket and you can't walk in the heat. And back by taxi. In general, when the shock passed, we did everything for ourselves) There is no fruit, maximum three pieces of green watermelon or melon. Those who have children also solved the issue by purchasing a package of drinks. The rooms are large, with a balcony, the cleaning is good, the room has everything, a kettle, cups, coffee, tea and even an ironing board and iron. Gels, shampoo, and cream are constantly being reported in the bathroom. We saw a cockroach there, but people eat in the rooms, and this is understandable, but we did not meet any more, one rested in our bathroom, with a kick of a slipper. There are two buses to the shops when the heat has also rolled down. We took from Oli (this is a local landmark, it is passed from hand to hand, a very pleasant woman), two excursions, a sightseeing tour to Dubai and the la Perla show, I really liked it. In general, summing up, I will say that the sea is wonderful, the beach is private, the pool is clean, the company has chosen a wonderful one, the beds are comfortable and very clean, the staff is just super, if you do not bother with super savings of the management in terms of food and water, then a quiet and relaxing holiday will be provided to you.

I liked the hotel, in terms of the sea, pool, beach, Beach towels are clean, good, comfortable showers on the beach. The entrance to the sea is gorgeous. The sauna and hammam did not work, the staff did not care much about the vacationers. The rooms are good, we had to fight to get a standard bed for 3 adults (we bought a ticket for 3 adults with a full bed). The food is good, but there are not enough dishes and the assortment of dishes is the same as "catching". We went for the sake of the sea and recreation, everything suited us. By the way, there was only one Russian channel and that was some kind of advertising... Therefore, the TV was not even turned on....

Right on the seashore! The beach is for guests only. On the beach there are sun beds, umbrellas, a small cafe, a swimming pool. The hotel itself is good! The rooms are cozy, not small, soap soap is available. The food is average in taste, but the portions are large, a little monotonous.
It's a little empty around. There are few shops: a couple of grocery stores and a couple of souvenir shops within a 10-minute walk. An interesting neighborhood with a power plant and a cargo port; excellent illumination in the evening and hefty ships on the horizon!
In general, a good place for a quiet beach holiday.

Nice hotel, on the first coastline. The rooms are large and clean, cleaned every day, everything is replenished daily. The staff is very loyal, they approach all issues professionally, help, explain. Along the embankment to the center on foot in 15 minutes. The big shops are 20-25 minutes away. The food is not very diverse, but it is sufficient, they put it up and update it. We had a rest in late April - early May. Excellent hotel on the first line. We were with a 2-year-old child (1 year and 10 months). We had a great rest, the baby ate the food that was prepared in the restaurant and ate very well! Swimming is as comfortable as possible when the tide is out, you can walk ankle-deep, and you can wallow without the help of an adult, I swam often!
There were not many people during this period, everything was calm.
There is a cage with peacocks, and they "sang" interestingly. Oh, I would say 🤣.
We had a balcony in the middle between two buildings facing the sea, I did not hear any noise, they write that it was noisy by the road, we were comfortable and slept quietly.
The air conditioner was covered with baby film, it was hot to sleep under the blanket, and the air conditioner cooled down too much and blew on the bed. Which is not good for us.

We checked into the Sahara beach Resort & Spa hotel, a hotel with its own private beach, which is one big plus. The staff is friendly, courteous, friendly, answer all your questions. The hotel itself is clean, beautiful, and spacious. The cuisine here is international, the products are natural and everything is always delicious, special thanks to the chef🫶
The beach is small, clean, there are sun loungers, umbrellas, and the water is just super, warm, clean, there is also a swimming pool, the water is already a little cool here, which is very pleasant. Our room is large (Deluxe), partly facing the road, partly facing the sea. Rooms are cleaned every day, which is also a big plus.

We had a rest in November, the big plus of the hotel is its own beach, went out and is already at sea). The beach is not big, but everyone could fit in. The hotel is of course old already, but in principle it will go, they clean every day, only the problem with towels, at first they left two large and one small, they did not even leave for the feet. Everything was solved by the fact that we started throwing a small towel on the floor and, lo and behold, a foot towel appeared! There is nowhere to dry things, only there is a place in the toilet, of course nothing dries there. Our neighbors tied a rope and clothespins on the balcony and dried them there. The Russian channel is only TNT on TV. The food is monotonous, we had breakfasts and dinners. We ate enough for breakfast, we had enough before dinner. There is a grocery store about fifteen minutes away, where you can buy groceries, juices, fruits. If you need to get somewhere, go out on the road, taxis drive incessantly, raise your hand and that's it, they stop. They don't speak Russian, it's better to show where you need to on the map in your phone. It took us 15 dirhams to get to the singing fountains of Sharjah by taxi. The hotel only changes dollars after the 2012 edition. The exchange rate is 3.5 dirhams per dollar. There is a shop on the ground floor, a woman from Belarus works, can change dollars when urgently needed and she also sells excursions, cheaper than a tour operator. WiFi works well, even on the beach it catches.

To anyone who reads reviews and doubts whether to choose this hotel, read my review, I tried to describe all the pros / cons / tips.
➕ Advantages:
⁃ 💵 Price/quality ratio. Well, let's be objective — this is a low price for the UAE. Those who have been to good 5-star hotels in Turkey, get ready for a little bit different. If translated into Turkish stars — solid 3. Cleaning. They are cleaned every day, there are no complaints about cleaning. Towels are changed every day, water is put in bottles (2-4 pcs. per day), gels / shampoos / lotions are put every day. We sometimes left 10 dirhams.
⁃ 🌊 The beach. It's old and small, but it's its own. Entering the water — a little pebbles, but then a white sand. I get up early, so when I went to the beach at 6, I could take a seat under an umbrella. It is difficult to do this after 8. In general, the most pleasant time on the beach is from 6-8, then it is very hot. Umbrellas are small and old, but you can catch a shadow. Lifeguards are on duty, they help with beach issues (move a chaise longue / find a chaise longue). Beach towels are provided every day. You can cross the water over the fence to a large city beach, walk for 5 minutes, and there will be a great location for photos. Apart from two crabs, starfish, and fish, no other animals were observed.
⁃ 🍔 Kitchen. We didn't starve. Lots of sliced vegetables, 3 types of meat and 3-4 types of side dishes. The porridges are bland. I'm a fan of low-calorie food, so I liked everything. For fans of a freebie buffet, it will probably be a little meager to go straight to the dump. There is food for children: nuggets/vegetables/ watermelon / juice/sausages/ toast. I will write about holidays with children below. Scrambled eggs are cooked in front of you every breakfast, but you have to stand in line for it a little bit.
I found a small free fitness room. I had enough weights and exercise equipment. But it's very humid and stuffy.
⁃ 🧒 Holidays with children. There is a swimming pool under a canopy. There is a small playground on site. The game room, but it's very humid and stuffy. Children of 10-12 years old walked happily around the dining room and ate something with an appetite.
⁃ 🙎♀️ Hotel guide. Unobtrusive, we met her on the second day of rest. We took excursions from her. It's not much more expensive than others offer. Compared with three different representatives of the excursions. A woman works on site and offers guided tours. I can't say anything, they didn't take excursions from her. We took it from the guide, because we figured that if we buy excursions from a woman, we will go with pensioners (this is a subjective opinion, not verified).
⁃ ☕️ There is a Starbucks opposite for coffee lovers. There is a grocery store 15 minutes away.
After walking for 25 minutes through the residential sector, you can go to the skyscrapers on the beautiful embankment. We used offline Yandex Maps.
⁃ 🍫 Walk to Sharjah Carlton Hotel, about 15-20 minutes on foot. On the 1st floor (without entering the hotel) there are mini markets, at the very least you can buy sweets and Dubai Fix chocolate (note, this is a replica). As for the Fix Instagram chocolate, you won't be able to find it in Sharjah. In this shop, replicas cost 40 and 20 dirhams. In my opinion, chocolate is very overrated. And the sweets are very tasty, There are free shuttles to the shopping center. We went to the Sahara shopping center. There are a lot of people in the shuttle, as the driver collects from several hotels. We went back by taxi ~ 26 dirhams. Of the decent ones in the shopping center there are Adidas and Nike, a large hypermarket. If you want to go straight to the mall, then you need to go to Dubai Mall.
➖ Cons:
In my opinion, the main disadvantage of this hotel is the behavior of Russian pensioners. To begin with, the main age of tourists is 60+ or young families with children, I have never met foreign tourists. I don't really like small children, but during my vacation they didn't bother me in any way. But I'm a little ashamed of the behavior of pensioners... Someone wrote that there was not enough food - this is understandable. Those who come to the very beginning, sweep everything clean. Moreover, these are mountains of food on plates, and you wonder: "Will you eat all this at all?" It seems to me that these are remnants of the past, when people did not have enough food, and now, seeing the inscription "buffet", they tear down the tower. I was shocked by this, because we are used to staying in European hotels, and there is a very calm behavior.
⁃ Lack of places with sun loungers. This is the same problem as with food. Pensioners occupy places in the evening with shawls and caps, and even arriving at 6:30-7:00, half of the sun loungers are occupied.
⁃ Monotonous food. On day 4-5, food gets boring, but you can eat enough. They helped out with sweets from the supermarket.
Recommendations:
1.Come to the dining room at the very beginning.
2.To occupy the deck chairs in advance (I think it's stupid, but it doesn't work any other way).
3.Come to the beach by 6-7 in the morning for a comfortable swim, without the withering sun. It has been verified from personal experience that the beach opens at 6:10. At this time, the temperature is very comfortable and there are few people.
4.When leaving the hotel, the skyscrapers will be visible, go to them and take a walk through modern Sharjah (after dinner! It's not so hot anymore). Study the maps and plan in advance where you can take a walk in the evening.
5.It is better to change money in exchangers. We changed at the Al Ansari Exchange, a 15-minute walk away.
Excursions:
We took two excursions from the hotel guide.
Safari. It costs like $ 45 and fully justifies its money. A little drive through the desert, great photos against the background of sand and sunset. The evening ends with a show program at a tourist point and dinner (the food was better than at the hotel).
⁃Excursion to Dubai. We took VIP for $160. A group of 15 people, a walk along the bay / fountain show. In general, I liked it. We would not have traveled it ourselves in 1 day.
Let me summarize:
I didn't want to offend the pensioners, I just wrote observations.
We didn't need designer rooms and plenty of food. Modest and inexpensive. The staff tries hard, always comes forward and helps. The staff mostly speaks English, if you don't know, then an interpreter will help. Wi-Fi works great, even on the beach.
Would I come again? Rather, yes. There are more pros than cons. Those who want to be licked should look for more expensive options.

All black, especially in the rooms on the highway (lived , saw), towels are all clean and those in the room and on the beach. The kitchen is like a kitchen, nothing superfluous and no frills, however, we eat the same way, without peddling.There is a swimming pool, the water is very cool, the depth is 2.7 maximum. There are two shops at the hotel, our compatriot Olga works in one of them. You can buy different excursions from her, but I do not recommend it, she sends everyone wherever they want, but the problem is going back to the hotel, we talked with a couple on the beach, they say for 200 derham they came from Dubai by taxi themselves, because tranfer just did not come back with them. The hotel is in a good location, all the sights of Sharjah are 12 -15 dirhams by taxi, you can see everything for yourself. And to arrange shopping and attractions with children , a beautiful Ferris wheel park for two adults, the price is 84 dirhams. In this park there is also a water park for children and a lot of entertainment, I highly recommend it.

We rested at the Sugar Hotel from April 4 to April 14. The hotel is beautiful inside. The rooms are large. But there is always, but! There were 3 beds in the room, there were two adults and a child of 8 years old. , there were 2 cups , spoons, 3 baths.towels. (face towels. there was none at all.)

We got into Ramadan, we thought that the poor assortment was because of this, but no, when Ramadan ended, only pancakes and watermelon were added. There were only 2 employees in the canteen. Apparently, they couldn't keep up with everything, there weren't enough plates because of this, there weren't enough spoons, forks, cups, .. everyone was standing, waiting for them to take it out. I was running out of coffee or some other kind of food and also had to wait. About the beach ::the beach is small, very rocky, and you also have to get up at 6 a.m. to take a seat. We had a rest from 12.10.24 to 22.10.24. I just want to say that the hotel is not 5 stars at all!!!! This is a hoax! 2 stars! They say that 5 years ago it was great! The owner sold it and then resold it two more times. The hotel is located on the first line with its own beach. That's the only thing he's good at. We arrived in the morning, checked in at 10-00 am. The room is small. Two beds. The cleaning is bad. Water is supplied every day. Either the towels are not reported, or they are not changed at all. In 10 days, the bed linen has never been changed. There is a safe in the room. TV has 2 Russian channels. There is hot water. Teapot, mugs without teaspoons. Bags of coffee and tea. The beach is small. For some reason, we will enclose a fence on both sides. Many sun beds are broken. There are holes in the umbrellas. The food is bad. Of course you will not stay hungry, but there is no choice at all from the word!!!! What kind of five is it? The food is better in threes!!! We took breakfast. And thank God. Because people complained that there was nothing to eat at lunch and dinner.They were fighting. There is still 1 hour before the end of dinner, there is nothing to eat. They called the chef and talked to him. Honestly!!!! I saw cheese only 2 times in 10 days. Before that, the oil was given in boxes, then they just began to give it cut into pieces. It's the first time I've seen this in a hotel. Salty cheese of the cheese type. Terrible!!! But it had several types of slicing and lay on several plates. Like there is a choice! Stewed beans every morning in two pots. Potato balls, pancakes, jam. Cucumbers, tomatoes, and yogurt were not always available. For 10 days, they gave only stewed liver once and stewed vegetables with minced meat once. Omelette. Boiled eggs. You go to put food on, open the lid, and it's empty. I'm currently vacationing at this hotel. This is my second time in the Emirates, I chose a hotel spontaneously, on the recommendation of a guide. I will not paint much and it is so clear in my opinion. The first thing I want to note is the location of the hotel. The hotel is located in a very inconvenient location. There are no shops (grocery stores) near the hotel, there are no cafes, restaurants. To get to the hotel, you need to either take a taxi or walk an hour and a half from the nearest bus stop. There is also an oil refinery near the hotel. Secondly, the food is terrible, breakfast and dinner leave much to be desired. It's the same thing every day, and there's no choice at all for dinner. The food is very not tasty and disgusting. Thirdly, yes, the hotel is located on the first coastline, the beach is very small, literally 20 meters wide. There is a fence on both sides, it is not clear for what purpose it stands at all. At about 16:00 - 16: 30 in general, the door to the beach from the hotel is closed. If you want to sit on the beach by the sea in the evening at the hotel, it will be impossible to do this. Fourth, the hotel itself is quite comfortable, small, clean. But not every room has hot water. Rooms are cleaned every day. The staff is quite responsive.
I won't even talk about animations and some entertainment in this hotel. They're not here.
I will assign a maximum of two stars to this hotel.
I do not recommend this hotel. There are much better hotels in Sharjah, although they have three stars.

There are free shuttles to the center of Sharjah (three different malls). There is no entertainment in the evening at the hotel, the beach closes after sunset, but you can come and sit.

We flew on vacation with two children aged 4 and 9. We arrived late, and arrived to check in after 22 hours. As in 5***** hotels are usually accepted, no lunchboxes or a small dinner were left here and no one was going to. We were given a large two-room room with a view of the road. The room is old. There was only one double bed in the room. Children should probably sleep on the floor. No one was interested in this issue at the Reception, no one cared, and for the first night they had to rent an additional cot for 100 Dirhams /night for the children, and negotiate about bed linen.
The first night I couldn't sleep at all - a very noisy room with a view of the city. The presence of a noisy road under the windows, which is constantly (and especially at night!) tractors, heavy trucks, container ships (with containers rattling on them), fuel trucks, etc., and the lack of sound insulation in the room! Something is being done noisily with the road in front of the hotel. The view of the city itself does not bother, because we only go to the room to change clothes and sleep, but the constant noise does not allow us to rest or sleep.
In our room, the balcony door did not close tightly, there were no seals at all, a finger slipped through the cracks. Because of this, all the noise from the road was inside the room, made it difficult to sleep, smells and dust from the road flew. I had to push rags into these seams with a spoon for 40 minutes by myself, so that there was at least some insulation from the street! When asked to fix this problem, install seals, or replace the door, the hotel management sent workers who simply sealed the door with ordinary tape, and it became impossible to ventilate the room and go out onto the balcony. I had to complain to the guide. It took 3 days to solve the problem! As a result, after several complaints to the guide and the tour operator, we were moved to a room of a lower category (with one room, instead of two, as it was before the relocation), and with mosquitoes (smaller than ours, not annoying).
The hotel has a small beach, sand + stones that wash up on the shore, sometimes it is impossible to walk without shoes. I had to take a shovel and clear the way to the water myself, digging up and removing stones. Then I saw the staff who did the same thing once. The beach shore is very flat, and you need to go very far to deep water. On the side of the beach, very close, there is a large oil processing plant. A dubious neighborhood. Especially when large containers are hissing, and something yellow-brown in color (it was a couple of times) is released into the air with a loud hiss from the pipes. Near the factory, just from the beach, large excavators spent days digging something in the sea. Perhaps they are expanding the plant. There is a seaport further behind the plant. I recommend that you first look at this "beautiful" (no) neighborhood on the map.
There is practically nothing around, there is nowhere to go. Only if you walk for several kilometers or more.
There's trouble with the food at the hotel. There is no variety, a couple of positions are more or less normal, the rest is fu. It's the same thing every day. With a full landing, there are not enough plates for everyone, appliances and glasses too. If you come to dinner later, then there may not be any plates, you will only eat what was not disassembled in front of you, because not everything that was at first is being re-taken out. One evening there was a special mockery – to put half a watermelon for dinner for everyone, which was instantly snapped up, and many did not have enough. Then it would be better not to exhibit at all. After 25-30 minutes, the situation repeated itself. There are no complaints about the quality of the food itself, they did not suffer from stomach problems.
Russian russians are plentiful in the hotel, but they don't speak Russian at the reception in principle. At best, in broken English. This was not a problem for us, and for many older guests it was very uncomfortable.
Bottom line: The level of the hotel does not correspond to the stated, maximum 2**-3*** . Problems with accommodation and room quality. The food is scarce, there is a problem with table setting, appliances, dishes, updating the eaten dishes and their variety. The level of service is low, the level of disregard for vacationers is high. The beach is small, with dubious "neighbors", there is nothing worthwhile near the hotel. I do not recommend the hotel!

With respect to 5 stars, this is a complete deception, the service is not higher than 2. They put me in room 117 with a compressor behind the wall, it was impossible to sleep. There were 221 rooms with holes on the floor under the carpet. It was leaking from the ceiling, they poured cosmetics on us. Under threat of leaving the hotel, they were moved to a more decent room. Breakfasts and dinners are poor, cheese for breakfast every other day, water and juice of the same kind, one salad, one sliced fruit, one type of dessert. There is a sauna, but it does not work. The gym is in the basement with stale air. A squalid area, near a power plant and an embankment stand with excavators. I am very sorry for the wasted money, disappointment.

I am writing from Sugar Beach. December - the heat is +26 degrees outside. Sunbathing on the hotel beach. We swim in the sea. There is also a volleyball court. The ball is at the beach "lifeguard" in the booth. Beauty! Double junior suite. Two bottles of water are put in every day. There is tea, coffee, and a kettle in the room. TV, refrigerator. And every little thing. The breakfasts are so-so. But the dinners are full-fledged. Meat, chicken, and fish are always available! We walk around in the evenings. We went to the Almajaz embankment twice. So-so pleasure. If only you get to know the local flavor better. We are going on an excursion to Dubai for 65 dollars per person! Everything is very expensive here! We take mango juice in the shops - it's delicious. We pay with a Union Pay card. Payment does not take place in all stores.

I don't understand why people write negative reviews. I just came from there, everything is fine there! The hotel is right on the beach (yes, the beach is too small, but there is a kilometer-long coast of a public beach behind the fence, it's easy to get there and swim there)))), towels are changed without sound (yes, they are not all new, but clean, dry, and for a pleasant smile they will choose you better and give you))) The breakfasts are quite acceptable (yes, the cheese and sausage in the cut are tasteless, but tell me - where, in which hotel were they good? I personally have never come across): omelets and scrambled eggs are made, there are always yoghurts, muesli, croissants, boiled eggs, fried sausages, potato balls and much more - we ate perfectly. Lunch and dinner can be bought next door - a Starbucks across the street and 300 m away. The round-the-clock cafe Lou Loua is great food, HUGE portions (my husband and I took 1 for two), so it's impossible to stay hungry. The rooms are all clean, cleaned daily. Of course, we were lucky, room 219 overlooks the sea. Not everywhere like this, there are views of the street and the factory next door - but this is probably the only drawback. You don't have to look out the window, after all. In short, take a look, you won't regret it!!! And yes, almost 100% of the guests are Russian. But for me it's more of a virtue than a disadvantage.
