We had a rest before the New Year 2026! One of the big advantages: They clean the rooms very well (they change the bed every day, they always respond to your requests very quickly, there is a lot of water and shower accessories in the room) Sockets near the bed are immediately under the euro, no adapters are needed. There is a Love - a genius for traveling in the UAE, he tells all the secrets and tours are cheaper than those of official guides. We took safaris and Oman, cool. The sea is clear, there are almost no waves, as there is a lagoon. The pool is clean but small and a little shallow, but for children or to refresh yourself is the best thing. There are enough sun beds for everyone, the staff is trying to help. A cozy gym for all muscle groups. Cool sauna. Of the cons: The food is good, fresh and different every day, but the choice is small if you are used to Turkey, there will be disappointment. If you like to walk, then it's a wilderness around, but if you go from the hotel immediately to the right there will be a small city embankment. The nearest Lulu store is a 30-minute walk away. Try to take the floors above, there are a lot of crows downstairs and they interfere with sleeping in the morning, and if you leave food unattended on the street, they will steal everything. There's a small construction site nearby, but it hardly gets in the way. Actually, it's an iron 4 stars, I don't know about 5. But I want to mention the top staff, especially Artyom! They're absolutely gorgeous.

A small cozy hotel with pleasant, helpful, smiling staff! The sea is right next to the hotel, literally 50 meters away. The sun beds are comfortable, with mattresses. Beach boy rubs a towel, opens an umbrella, brings some water and sun cream. The pool is warmer- we had a rest in February- we swam more in the sea. We were satisfied with the assortment of food - in the morning porridge, omelette, eggs, fruits, pastries, sausage, sausages, cheese - everything was delicious. We didn't go to lunch- we took a snack dinner. Alcohol is expensive- beer is 30 dirhams. If you do not plan to go on excursions, take everything included. There's nowhere much to walk behind the hotel. There's a construction site nearby. The sea is low tide. For a week, that's the best thing, more is boring. The rooms are good, they were taken with a view of the sea - there was no balcony, with two windows. We are not picky, what we went for is what we got - the sea, the sun, a relaxing holiday, communication and fuss are enough in Moscow. We took guided tours from Fan & Sun- everything went great. We went to Oman for a boat trip. There are two bus trips to Dubai from the hotel. And an important and pleasant bonus is an individual transfer from this hotel - comfortable cars! Special thanks for that. There are no Russian speakers at the reception, of course there is an online translator, but it would be nice to have a Russian speaker) enjoy your stay in this wonderful place!

The hotel is located in a distant Emirate, it's almost empty and there's nothing to do. But the hotel itself is beautiful and fully justifies its 5 stars. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, it is surprising that most of the staff are men. It has its own dedicated beach and swimming pool, deck chairs with towels. Nice bonus: very good sunscreen (mineral water-resistant), sunscreen and just Evian facial spray. The food is buffet style, but the choice is huge, the pastry chef is so wonderful. The rooms were spacious, mine had a large bed and a shower (well, it's clear that there were a lot of tables/chairs, a wardrobe and a TV too). Everything is kept clean, no mold and nothing is broken. The hotel organizes a transfer to the Dubai Mall twice a week, but you need to make an appointment in advance (there are few places). In fact, I have time for breakfast before departure and for dinner after returning. Who takes All Inclusive - alcohol is worth it.

I had a rest here during the New Year holidays. A lovely modern hotel. Large rooms, comfortable mattresses and good quality bed linen. The cosmetics offered by the hotel are of very good quality, I especially liked the body cream- super! The hotel has practically no territory, but the pool is a decent size: without slides, but with a view of the sea, all the sun beds by the pool are already made in advance and towels are laid out. The sun beds on the beach are wooden, with mattresses, towels without cards (maybe for now) and the staff are always ready to help (bring a towel, make a mattress). There are sunscreens by the pool - it's very convenient! The menu is small, but excellent, and all the dishes on offer are really delicious. In general, special respect to the hotel staff- attentive, friendly. In our room, they will write a wish on the mirror, then they will post a Happy New Year with rose petals, then they will write a note, it's nice and pleasant. The only thing is, the bartender on the beach behaved depending on the guest- an English-speaking guest is nice and friendly, but a Russian speaker can make a cocktail somehow and casually. It's clean, stylish and beautiful all around, the Christmas tree at the reception and the whole New Year's decor is incredibly beautiful. Not from the category of "expensive, rich", but stylish and modern. New Year's Eve was held on the street, champagne and a disco, nothing more interesting. But there are Gatsby-style hats on the tables for guests, it's cool. In general, for a quiet, relaxing holiday, that's the thing. But it will take an hour or more to go shopping and walking outside the hotel.

ABOUT VIDA BEACH RESORT UMM AL QUWAIN 5*. We have been vacationing since 01/8/2026 from the TourisMe travel agency. Special thanks to them for the excellent organization and support during the tour. And for the pleasant compliment in the room on the day of arrival. In general, the hotel is designed for relaxing holidays on the beach or by the pool. As for stardom, I would rate it at a solid four. The staff is mainly from Pakistan, India and Nepal. It seemed to me that the room and restaurant service was too intrusive: I would like less attention from the staff, who seemed to be constantly watching the guests. We had an early arrival and until the room was ready, we were offered to sit in the lobby or change clothes and go to the beach. We preferred the beach, and they offered to change our clothes in the lobby bathroom. The question is why? There are equipped changing rooms with showers and bathrooms near the pool, we already found out about this later. It would be much more convenient to change clothes there upon arrival. We were checked in earlier for three hours at no extra charge. Bed linen and towels are changed daily. Cleaning is mainly in the bathroom. The windows in the room overlooking the sea were dirty. Since they do not open completely, you can only take photos from the window through the glass (however, this is already a quibble). By the way, there are mosquito nets on the windows, which is not superfluous with the local silent biting mosquitoes. Every day we replenished what we had time to use: cotton swabs and discs, a nail file, a shower cap with a hair band. Mouthwash was used for the first two days, then stopped. As for cosmetics: the bottles are original, but it is not clear what is actually poured into them, because they are used as reusable - the expiration dates are worn out. But the smell of cosmetics is very pleasant. In general, everything and everywhere in this hotel smells nice. The supply of drinking water was replenished in glass bottles with the date sealed on them. Tea and cream have stopped being served in recent days. By the way, there's nowhere to dry things, they didn't dry on a rope in the shower, we scattered them on the floor lamps. So it's better to have a pair of swimsuits. The centralized air conditioner can be adjusted to suit your comfort temperature. When the windows are open, the air conditioner turns off. There are USB sockets in the room, there is one in the bathroom for 230. In the room: safe, kettle, hairdryer, scales (they didn't work for us, but we didn't regret it). The sound insulation in the room did not cause discomfort, but we were just lucky with the neighbors, we had a door to the next room in the room. The bed is wide and very comfortable. In general, the room is quite comfortable. On the penultimate day, we were very persistently asked to assess the level of room cleaning. Now for those who have everything turned on: be prepared that on certain days you may be denied alcohol for religious reasons. The guests are obliged to respect the rules of the host party — we did not argue with this. Everyone in the restaurant is friendly, but it feels like everyone is very tired. The food is average, at the time of our rest there is a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You won't stay hungry, but there are no frills. The food was not always delicious, the meat was often tough, seafood was rare and most often overexposed on fire, and squid was very tough. Sometimes the fish just melted in my mouth, but sometimes it was too dry. The story is the same with fruits: they are often just green, unripe. Pineapples were the most delicious. A large selection of green salads. Completely dry and rubbery Viennese waffles and pancakes, well, they don't know how to cook them))). What I liked was the cakes: they were very diverse and delicious. For drinks, you could go to the bartender yourself, or order from the waiter. If you enter a restaurant from the lobby, they will ask you for the room number; if from the beach, they are usually not interested, but sometimes they conduct a survey to clarify which room you are from (again about obsessive attention and control). Once we saw how the guests were reprimanded for visiting a restaurant in a bathrobe from the room. A lot of locals arrive at the weekend, and attention turns to them, they caught a wedding and some kind of conference. For such events, separate tables are set up on the lawn, away from the eyes of tourists. At these moments, the priority in service is very clearly visible, but I would like to relax in a tourist-oriented hotel... The beach is open from 7 a.m. to sunset, but in fact it seems to be still light, but a red flag is posted and everyone is kicked out of the water. By the way, the most communicative and cheerful guys work on the beach, they are always ready to help and prompt. The beach is small, sloping 5-6 meters and then abruptly sinks to the depth. The coast is relatively clean, garbage is collected, there are a lot of fish in shallow water. It is better not to dig in the sand with children, because there are many cats on the beach that use the beach for their intended purpose. Once, sea urchins were dragged to the shallows, and I had the fate to "get to know" them. It's good that the consequences were not particularly traumatic, but this is a big disadvantage for the hotel: the beach is not checked for safety. After attracting attention, the hedgehogs were promptly fished out and moved outside the beach. One of the big disadvantages of the hotel at the moment is the construction site nearby and the loud crows that make noise from morning until evening. It all gets in the way if you pay attention. We were somehow abstracted and didn't notice this noise. But there are really a lot of crows, sometimes they are chased by a falcon, but it is not clear who is chasing whom. We had a really good rest, but there's nothing to do here for more than a week, if you get tired of drinking, you'll eat and contemplate the boring landscape. You can take a boat ride on the nearby islands, with the opportunity to see flamingos and turtles swimming in the distance. An hour-long walk will cost 900 dirhams. Is it worth it... We didn't use the free transfer to Dubai Mall, I can't say anything about this trip. We chose this hotel precisely during the winter season, because the water here in the bay is almost stagnant and is better warmed up than in the open space. During the season, I would have chosen another more picturesque place. But that's my personal opinion.

We are visiting this hotel for the second time, due to the fact that we really liked everything the first time, starting from the rooms, ending with the service and staff. Unfortunately, the situation has changed over the year and the hotel has become a disappointment. After 8 days of breakfast, everything is the same, and it's impossible to see an omelet on day 5. Only one oatmeal porridge, the rest are snacks, and delicious yogurts are among the advantages. Lunch and dinner are 2 out of 5 stars, everything is spiced with pepper, part of the salads from breakfast, pickled cucumbers and a rather strange combination of dishes- pasta salad ...., hot to choose from or meat in sauces and with pepper or fish, with the same dressing, there is no alternative. The side dish here is classic- baked potatoes and pasta with sauce, rice, that's it)) There are long breaks in food, there are no snacks, people with problematic stomachs should avoid this place. There are not enough sun beds on the beach, towels are sometimes given later than you arrive due to the fact that they have not been brought yet. Crows and cats in the food area who are trying to steal food from the tables. A pool with loose tiles, if children are present, they can easily cut the skin and get injured. The staff came mainly from Pakistan, who are clearly not satisfied with their work. There is dirt and ruin outside the hotel and the road is not intended for pedestrians - there are no sidewalks at all. There are half-abandoned shops with expired products, but delicious chocolate)) there is nowhere to walk, the territory of the hotel is small, so you can only dream of an evening promenade for 30 minutes. A construction site has been set up next to the hotel, 24/7, since there is no noise at night. You can forget about quiet hours, like in Moscow. It doesn't work here. In general, a pitiful imitation of a Turkish hotel with the same staff was made out of a nice little cozy hotel where locals come to reboot. We look forward to returning to Russia!

High-quality courteous service, delicious and varied food, good alcohol, a clean pool and other leisure facilities - I did not have time to get tired "mentally". One of the disadvantages is the lack of any leisure inside the hotel - there is nothing to entertain yourself here except food, alcohol, the beach (there is a children's room, gym, tennis, billiards, spa - but all that, "micro"). You'll have to go somewhere - it's long and tedious, like 50 minutes or more, for a not very cheap price (a taxi in the region of 1200 to a nearby city, at least with some infrastructure, to Dubai - x5). The hotel is currently having a hard time getting a "full board" - there are not enough things for everyone, you will need to wait. It won't take long, but regularly, not to mention that "in the sun" sun beds - even in the beach area and even more so, by the pool, where there is a bar - are not always available. Therefore, if you are going to the season, be patient. But all these "disadvantages" are covered by peace of mind, quality of service and affordable price (compared to some Dubai Marina).

The suitcases are immediately picked up and then delivered to the room, they are not allowed to carry them themselves :) there is a bar by the pool, there is also a restroom and a room where you can change clothes and a shower (if you have a late flight, you can chill on the beach after check-out and then take a shower and change in this room). The pool is high, warming!!! Overlooking the bay! The maximum depth of the pool is 120 cm, which was ideal for me, I didn't have to worry about my daughter. The water in the bay is brisk at this time, so we combined swimming with the pool! There are plenty of sun beds, they take up space in the morning, there are still plenty of places at 8-9 o'clock, but even if you come later, you can always ask the staff and they will move the sunbed to the desired place. (there are always a lot of free sun beds in the shade) Towels right on the beach and by the pool are very convenient, there are always towels.
