We were in all the centers of Minsk, knocking on all doors and looking for help for a whole year 5-6 times a week, but unfortunately, the results were very weak, and time slipped through our fingers and worked against us, but we were very lucky that fate brought us together with these Professionals and wonderful people who in 2 weeks intensive care, having done a tremendous job, rebuilt the brain of the child and parents.They taught us how to build the learning process, gave us the necessary tools, and in this short period of time We have made a huge step forward. I bow low to the head of the center, Olga Felistovich, for her personal approach and super organization of the entire learning process, after the intensive, she never refuses help. My son Vanya and I turned to Olga for help: misunderstanding of spoken language, behavioral problems, there was no speech, we were like on different planets with our child! We completed an intensive course. Someone writes that this is pulling money, etc., that parents themselves need to deal with the child, but in order to deal with him, you need to learn how to do this and learn how to do what your child needs to succeed! They helped us here, yes, it was a very difficult path for both us and Vanya, but we did it! Now Vanya understands the addressed speech, responds to the name, unwanted behavioral reactions have gone away, he is sitting at the table and doing what was never discussed before! In kindergarten, he began to perform speech therapist tasks, improved behavior in the team, and most importantly, we are now a happy family who saw their child as real, active, who knows how to show his feelings and emotions, who looks into his eyes and can ask for something! Hello. My son is 4.5 years old. The child was diagnosed with childhood autism. Today it has been exactly 3 months since we completed the intensive course. I'll share our story. Before completing the intensive course, Rostislav did not have an index gesture, he also did not have speech (only echolalia), and his understanding of reversed speech was weak. The baby could not stand any touching to himself (the slightest touch caused severe hysteria). He ate only French fries, chops, fish, yoghurts and cheeses. The child categorically refused to try fruits and vegetables. I only drank compotes. In kindergarten, he did not eat or drink anything at all. We went to various specialists (including the ABA), but there were no significant changes in behavior or development. The situation was getting worse. Severe tantrums began with rejection, touching, or changes in the usual course of action. The child beat his hands, knocked his head on the floor and the wall. And so I accidentally came across an interview on the Internet with Olga Alexandrovna about the ABA center. For 3 months we thought about it and read a lot of positive reviews about the work of the center. And finally, we decided to go on an intensive course. A lot of hard and painstaking work was carried out at the intensive course. Many thanks to the specialists of the center: Masha, Alina and, of course, Olga Alexandrovna. After class, my husband and I just lay down on the couch from exhaustion and dreamed about the weekend. But the result was not long in coming and exceeded all expectations. Every day of the intensive, I had tears of joy from the success of our child. Immediately after the intensive, the undesirable behavior disappeared, the pointing gesture appeared, speech comprehension and imitation improved, and learning behavior was formed. Rostislav began to count out loud, began to eat new foods (soups, apples, drink water), recognized and named all the vowel letters. He began to repeat syllables and words after an adult. Now Rostislav knows all the numbers, shapes, colors, letters, classification of fruits and vegetables, birds and animals. Counts up to 30, reads simple words, can tell a short rhyme or story (3 sentences). He enjoys eating soups, porridges, fruits and even a salad, drinks milk and water. Conversational speech is still at the initial stage. Pronounces words poorly. There is still a lot of work to be done with a speech therapist. But this is the result of our DAILY work at home. Nothing will work without the parents' participation. I would like to address parents who have a similar situation with their child. Dads and moms, don't waste time and don't expect a miracle. Don't waste time and money on specialists who take money but can't do anything to help. Nothing will change without YOUR permanent job. Philistovich is a sorceress!
