I would like to say a huge thank you for the wonderful 4 days of rest in new Athos. The hotel is clean, modern, good air conditioning, sound insulation, location.
We were settled a little earlier than indicated, thanks a lot for that! 3 days on the train with small children, I wanted to go to the room, of course.
The room is modern, the beds are good, not squeaky, the bathroom is well renovated. The clothes dryer on the balcony pleases 😊
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were arranged quite well, varied, delicious, and everything was fresh. With young children, there was always something to eat and there were no problems with tummies. The girls in the kitchen tried very hard to ensure that the dishes were always available.
There is a refrigerator with cold drinks.
A huge plus is the location of the hotel; in a few days we visited all the places of interest, there is a grocery store and souvenir shops nearby ☺️
Room cleaning is good, daily.
Of the cons: the most terrible minus was the linen, towels 😩 for the first time in many years of traveling I come across such dirty, rotten towels 😩 everything is stained, honestly, even it was unpleasant to wipe my feet, it was good that I had my own towels with me. The bed didn't smell, but there were also a few stains 🥺
The Internet generally worked well, except in the evening after 20, it was rebooted periodically.
The refrigerator was not cold until we took it out of the closet. Maybe someone will need this life hack.
We wish the hotel prosperity, careful and regular guests!

We stayed in Abaash for the second time and never regretted it. Cozy, clean and spacious rooms, views of the monastery are just a dream, it's a pleasure to wake up here every morning. It's quiet, you can't hear the noise, loud music from the street, for a relaxing holiday it's the best thing. The food is delicious, moderately varied. This time they only took breakfast. Polite staff. The location is 10/10, within walking distance of all the sights of New Athos, which is good news. The way to the sea is picturesque, through a cypress alley. There is no private beach, but in general you can safely stay in the city, the main thing is to have something to lie on the rocks and where to hide from the sun. At the end of May, the beach was not yet equipped for the season, so there are no sun beds/umbrellas to be found. But something was actively being built in the neighborhood, so I think there will be sheds and rentals in the season.
In general, we will return here with pleasure for a high-quality vacation, good service and just for a welcoming atmosphere.

"Abaash Hotel" in New Athos is a good-class hotel by Abkhazian standards. We stayed there for two weeks: one week in the grand suite + one week in the presidential suite.
Positive:
- location of the hotel (within walking distance of the waterfall, Simon Kananita Temple, lake and Psyrtskha railway station, Novoafon monastery, Novoafon cave, Anakopian fortress, Simon Kananita grotto);
- there is no passing highway nearby (for example, in a similar-level hotel "Afon Black Sea Resort" noise from the main highway is present under the windows around the clock);
- good level of renovation, new furniture, the hotel is fresh;
- excellent varied and delicious breakfasts (with a slight disadvantage, which is attributed to the cons);
- responsive, friendly and customer-oriented hotel staff;
- there is always a bar with chilled alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the lobby of the hotel;
- the view from the huge balcony of the presidential suite is stunning (right at the waterfall and the temple of Simon the Cananite);
- high-quality daily room cleaning.
Minuses:
- in the shower room of the grand suite there is no water seal on the drain, so a strong sewer smell spreads gradually to the entire room; this problem is treated in the only but effective way – cold water turns on in the shower half-heartedly and does not turn off around the clock; at the same time, the smell from the drain does not arise; in other rooms there is no such problem.
- for unknown reasons, breakfasts are always served slightly warm (at room temperature); at first we thought that we just came too late for breakfast and everything had already cooled down, but no, all dishes are taken out of the kitchen already like this; at the same time in numerous containers for storing/distributing side dishes, sausages, scrambled eggs, pancakes, etc.many other dishes are provided with burners for heating, but the kitchen staff does not use them.
Wishes/features (I can not attribute them to the cons):
- I would like to change towels more often than once every 3 days (in other similar hotels of New Athos they change even less often);
- I would like to have more varied dinners at the hotel and with a larger assortment (we never went to lunch);
- the sea is 600-700 meters from the hotel (it is necessary to return to the hotel with a very easy, almost imperceptible ascent); personally, it did not bother us, we walked with pleasure.
General conclusion: the hotel is very good; if we go back to New Athos, we will be happy to book a room at this hotel.

My stay at this hotel is currently ending. Only positive impressions. Excellent sound insulation, very good location,quiet from the street. There are no neighbors in the room and no people passing along the corridor. There is a kettle, cups, a safe, there is only a hair conditioner in the bathroom. The towels were changed, however, only after 6 days. Underwear never. But we didn't ask for it. The linen and towels are pure white, there are no stains (as described above), the staff is responsive and polite. React instantly to requests or problems in the room)the breakfasts, lunches and dinners are very good. They are diverse, there is something to choose from. It is exactly 1km to the mops. Great hotel! We stopped for the second time . The location is good, near the New Athos caves , waterfall , monastery . There are many delicious cafes , an embankment . Large rooms in the rooms . New hotel, nice rooms. Three-point service, breakfast too. Custard coffee needs to be paid at the bar. The hotel is located in the center of the sights, so it is not quiet and you will not be able to relax. It's fine for a couple of days, but if you want to spend all 14 days on vacation, then I recommend looking for a more peaceful place.

It took a very long time to choose a hotel before the trip. The first time in Abkhazia, a child and a lot of negativity on the web. We rested for 15 nights and only positive emotions from both Abkhazia itself and the hotel. I must say right away that we visited only Ritsa and Chernihiv. Pitsunda, Gagra and Sukhum were seen only in passing. I will not write much about the atmosphere in Athos, it has the potential to return here again and again. And Abaash helps in this. Clean rooms, clean linen, spring water from the tap, very friendly staff, ready to fulfill almost any of your wishes. Thank you all very much!
We remember everyone, but we will not list them by name, so as not to forget or offend someone. A recommendation for everyone in the future: the food in the hotel is absolutely safe, do not experiment in restaurants. Abkhazian cuisine is very specific and not everyone tolerates it from the habit.

This is the best hotel in Mount Athos, the prices are appropriate. It is built soundly, good design, materials.The location is atmospheric. But guests need to be prepared for the specifics of the service. There were problems with cleaning - the first day there was no cleaning, on the second day the garbage was removed, but they did not even fold the towels, I had to run to the reception with a mountain of wet towels to change them. Breakfast is a separate song. It turns out (unexpectedly) that everyone comes to breakfast 30 minutes before the end. There are not enough plates, forks, cups, and the food is over. Coffee at breakfast is some kind of a schmuck in the kettle. Normal coffee for a fee at the bar, but the same girl is responsible for the bar and the restaurant, and at the time of the emergency she is not up to the bar, and no one else is authorized to press the button of the coffee machine. In general, with rare exceptions, the staff is relaxed, and the owner saves on employees who simply can not cope with the service at peak load.

Wonderful hotel, great staff.special thanks to everyone in the kitchen and the waiters and chefs. I just really wanted to . to add at least some fish, fruits and, of course, pastries of a larger assortment to the menu. I would like a coffee machine for breakfast, even for a fee, it's just that there wasn't enough staff at the bar nearby and it was a long wait.And so all well done .I recommend this hotel to everyone.

У нас был президентский люкс - потрясающий номер - можно заблудится!😅
Большая терраса с выходом из спальни и гостиной через сдвижные панорамные окна/двери от пола до потолка.
Высоченные потолки - 3-3,5 метра.
Два санузла (один на террасе)
Потрясающий вид с террасы на водопад, парк и церковь.
Терраса болтшая - оборудована столовой группой на четверых, два лежака и складной большой зонт.
Есть гардеробная.
Мебель вся удобная
Два смарт тв (в спальне и гостиной)
Быстрый интернет.
Есть завтрак-обед-ужин по системе шведский стол.
В Холле есть бар.
На каждом этаже кулер с холодной и горячей водой.
Через фрамугу под потолком из гостиной и спальни днём видны золотые купола новоафонского монастыря.
Все достопримечательности в пешей доступности - новоафонская пещера, монастырь, водопад и др.
Рекомендую!

Отель очень хорошего уровня. Есть всё необходимое для комфортного проживания. Мы заехали и сразу сдали вещи в стирку (цены достаточно демократичные на услуги прачечной, 300 руб за 6 кг белья). После возвращения вещей из стирки обнаружили, что пара вещей на бретельках испорчена, обратились на ресепшн, без каких-либо проблем нам компенсировали стоимость испорченных вещей, извинились. Персонал очень отзывчивый, стремится всё решить, сделать удобным прибывание. Отдельно хотелось бы поблагодарить Диану, баристу (великолепный утренний кофе по-восточному уехал с нами в сердце), а так же старшего администратора, горничную 3го этажа. Всем рекомендую данный отель для того, чтобы остановиться в Новом Афоне. Шведский стол достаточно хороший, продукты свежие, можно на завтрак больше фруктов и ягод давать (был только арбуз). Номера большие, места хватило 4м взрослым. Отель расположен в самом сердце Нового Афона, что позволяет прямо с балкона любоваться красотой фонтана и храмом.

We had a rest in this department from April 22-25. I usually approach the choice of a hotel carefully, look at many different ones and choose the very one!
At the entrance to the hotel there is a large lobby with a good modern renovation and a reception area, as well as a bar area and a buffet dining room. A nice girl met us at the reception, told us everything and sent us to the room, unaccompanied.
Our room was Standard 2x with a balcony, everything looks very good, new furniture in the style of the 70s and most importantly a very large bathroom with underfloor heating, and a long countertop with 2 sinks and a large mirror, and also a large shower room, there was a hair dryer but it was just lying in the corner and with protruding wires and no one apparently they didn't care about him. Further, after examining the cleanliness of the bathroom, I noticed that they were cleaning there, to put it mildly, apparently milking the ticks, or such an attitude of the maids to cleaning. Then, going out on the balcony, we saw scaffolding just above our room, there was also a table with chairs and sun beds, and some man was crawling, as I understand it, who was engaged in finishing the building, and all this was in construction dust. It's just that all the days that we were there, we just simply couldn't go out on the balcony and sit at a table normally, we just had to lay towels. But not only that, all this construction dust just dragged into the room, and all the furniture, bedside tables were constantly covered in dust and we breathed it!!!I'm not a picky person, I didn't say anything, well, since we arrived for a short time, I decided to wait 3.5 days. But one day, when we left for a tour, we left a sign that we needed room cleaning, so what do you think someone came to us? Nooo!!!I went down to the reception, complained about it and was assured that they would clean up soon, and we tired decided to go out so as not to interfere with the cleaning, and what do you think happened? Tadaaam, no one came to us. It was already just beyond everything! To be honest, there is no clear attitude towards vacationers at all, why do you move people into those rooms where repairs are underway? Why should we breathe this?! We also found out when we went to bed that we didn't have a single blanket, bedspread or sheet to at least cover ourselves with. Soon in the evening, a very nice girl Marina came and did everything we asked! That's where the loyalty of the hotel is, in this person, that's who should lead the team, not the people who are sitting there now! The sediment and questions about the hotel remained, and to be honest, so far they don't pull at 4 * at all, the 3 * is stretched ... and it's not about the hotel itself, it's wonderful, but about the work of managers.
Now about the advantages.
I really liked the breakfast at the hotel, everything is delicious and a wide variety of everything!
The location of the hotel is very convenient, right in front of the famous waterfall and Psyrtskha station, and from the next street you can get to the grotto, cave, Anakopia fortress and three boilers. The sea is also a 10-minute walk away. And how the birds sing and what a beautiful view that from the balcony of the hotel, that at the exit!
I would come back here, maybe, but there are a lot of things that need to be finalized and then you will be the coolest!

Отличный отель, большой номер, все новое и чистое. Удобно расположен: до моря меньше 10 минут пешком по аккуратному тротуару и через парк; до Новоафонского монастыря - прямой подъем в гору. Вокруг много зелени, мест, где можно поесть, и прикупить все необходимое. Персонал отеля очень отзывчивый. Отель рекомендую👍
При бронировании номера сотрудники отеля посоветовали для нас трансфер. Отдельно хочу поблагодарить Артура, который помог нам с трансфером от аэропорта и обратно. Артур - настоящий профессионал!) он знает все нюансы, как быстро и с комфортом добраться до нужного места😊

I just got back from this hotel. Someone wrote in the reviews that this is a guest house, no. The guest houses have a refrigerator, but there is none here!!! There is a mini bar with adrenaline and Sukhumi beer, which does not work, it not only does not cool, it warms. On the first day everything was hotter, then it became room temperature. Accordingly, you cannot store your food and drinks in the room.
The furniture is all rolled up - chips, stains. The stench of sewage is all over the room (about like in a public toilet), I had to sleep with an open balcony, there was no other way. In September, the nights were cool, I had to freeze.
Dust and dirt are everywhere. Traces of blood are everywhere - on the carpet, bedding, wall, floor lamps. There are no dishes in the room, except for 2 dirty glasses and 2 plates. If you want to drink wine or cut cheese, you will not succeed, because there are no appliances. There is no bottled water either. Usually hotels provide 2 bottles of water per day, there is no such thing here. It is unrealistic to stay in the room, an allergy to dust immediately begins. The table on the balcony was still covered in dust. I attach the photo, I wrote the word save on the table, asked to clean the room. To which the receptionist replied that the balcony is not part of the room. And
that's it, the feeling of dirt and some kind of stickiness. The plumbing has not been cleaned once in 7 days and judging by the smells and dirt, there was no cleaning before me. I caught rotovirus for the first time in 10 years in Abkhazia. There are traces of someone else's squeezed pimples on the mirror. The towels are dirty and stained, they were changed on the seventh day. The garbage began to be taken out on the third floor. Beach towels are paid - 50 rubles per day. Damn, and this is at the cost of 11 thousand rooms. When leaving, they did not take money for them. The question is, why then say that they are paid and spoil

It's amazing why this hotel has so many good reviews. The hotel is no longer the first freshness. We were just outraged by the beds, and as we were told, they are in all rooms. In fact, these are mattresses lying practically on the floor , very uncomfortable . Of course, the hotel is far from a boutique hotel, but we have something to compare it with. The only advantages are the carpet in the rooms, you can always safely add + 1 star and room area for the carpet. The room is large. We had an extra seat, it was a sofa that didn't fold out. The child is 10 years old and it fits, the child above would not be able to lie down normally. The air conditioner blows directly on this place, we had to build barricades of pillows to cover the child. And it's impossible to sleep without air conditioning, it's very stuffy. The rooms are spacious, there is everything you need, a change of towels in fact, if you leave it on the floor, there is a sofa in the room as an extra place, carpet. A good four in New Athos. Very convenient location in relation to all local attractions. Spacious room, polite staff. Of the minuses: the carpet would be replaced on the floor, it looks shabby and insects from the balcony at least would be cleaned with a broom.
The warm floor in the bathroom conquered my child, and I had comfortable pillows and mattresses.
I couldn't have breakfast, so I won't write anything about food. We stopped just to spend the night.

Шикарный отель для Абхазии! Проживаю в Сочи, в Абхазии бываю очень часто и есть с чем сравнить. Жили в делюксе и в дуплексе. Понравился больше делюкс, хоть он и намного дешевле. Свежий, чистый номер, полы в ванной комнате с подогревом!!, что очень важно, в напольном покрытии нога утопает-очень приятно ходить! Девушка на ресепшн просто чудо! Сделала скидку на проживание, на все просьбы реагировала мгновенно! Брали трехразовое питание. Очень все вкусное, свежее, разнообразное, не жирное, не жареное, мясо всех видов, арбузы и дыни божественные! Не хватало только рыбы или морепродуктов. Очереди нет, столы свободные всегда были в наличии. Местоположение отеля потрясающее. Рядом водопад, тропа к гроту Симона Кананита. На рассвете пока все туристы спят, ходили на прогулку по тропе. Отель топ! Рекомендую!

The houses are covered with leaves, so they are very Comilfo, and if you still open all the windows, there will be through ventilation, and you will not need a conditioner. The halves of the bed are not fastened together, we saved on the most basic! Sleeping in the middle or together will not work well.
Breakfast in the restaurant is normal in terms of the quality of the products, but periodically there were no products available. For example pancakes or pancakes or condensed milk or fruit or boiling water! or something else. In general, I had to ask for boiling water three times so that someone would deign to boil the kettle.

The hotel is not worth the money, you can only sleep and eat in it. There is nothing else in it, no pool, no gym, no sauna, NOTHING!
We took full board, in general they cook delicious, BUT when you constantly eat there, you notice how lunch transforms into dinner) The choice of dishes is not big at all.
The hotel is relatively new. It is quite cozy and clean. The towel was changed 1 time per week of stay.
Among the advantages: excellent location, all the sights of the city are within walking distance.
Friendly and helpful staff.

In September 2024, we stayed at the Abaach Hotel Afon for five nights. Two adults.
We were at this hotel exactly two years ago.
Why is everything wrong? Everything seems to be as usual...
it turned out that the manager had changed. I don't want to pick on the little things, but the hotel has not changed for the better. I was amazed that they no longer put water in the rooms. They said, dial in the cooler, on the 3rd floor. No, and there's silence. It's not difficult to buy, but we arrived late from excursions and already without water (That was the problem! Now even in shabby hotels they put water on. It's kind of not a luxury!? What did you decide to save money on? The staff does not greet, is not customer-oriented. Two years ago, we had three meals a day. This time we went to lunch and decided that it wasn't worth it.
Still, this is our favorite hotel. My beloved Athos. The location is the best! Dear new manager, we wish you strength for the development of the hotel! Read the feedback, talk to the guests, respect your team! Everything depends on you! Work with your soul!
P.S. Change the bucket black mugs in the dining room back to white tea pairs! And the duvet should be tucked into the duvet covers, not thrown next to them. Thank you.

Остались противоречивые впечатления об отеле. Расположение отличное. С виду все красиво, но если приглядеться, очень много минусов. Цена не соответствует качеству абсолютно.
Во время заезда нам сказали, что будет двуспальная кровать, хотя бронь была на две односпальные. Пришлось искать информацию и доказывать это - бронировали на официальном сайте отеля. В итоге дали другой номер и сказали, что придут и раздвинут кровати уже после заселения. После трёх наших напоминаний кровати раздвинули только на следующий день вечером. Заселили, правда, на час раньше без дополнительной платы. Номера красивые, но грязные. Уборки не было ни разу за неделю, один раз принесли шампунь и гель, пакетики чая, протерли кран и зеркало. Правда, мусор выносили каждый день и меняли туалетную бумагу. Однажды мы встретили горничную, выслушали тираду, как ей тяжело и что она ничего не успевает - в приоритете номера для заселения новых гостей. Полотенца и постельное белье не первой свежести, ни разу не заменили их, халат с пятном. Полотенце для ног было одно, всегда мокрое на полу. Вместо простыни постелен пододеяльник.
Сторона, выходящая на храм и водопад, не освещается солнцем, вещи не успевали просушиться. Завтраки неплохие.
У отеля хороший потенциал, но не хватает опытного управляющего и в сезон персонала в целом.

Очень неплохой отель, по цене конечно кусается, но и сервис там неплох. Вроде как входилишт из Абхазии в Турцию. Номера чистые, свежие, сделано все аккуратно, комплектующие(розетки, выелючатеои, смесители, плитка и тд) на уровне. Мелкие недочеты есть: карточки на реле света не работает, но может оно и к лучшему, заедает кнопка унитаза, зимой не переводят двери и окна в зимний режим, из-за чего из уплотнителя дует (за бортом тепло достаточно, но образуется конденсат на косяках на створках) , мало каналов (в Абхазии вообще ТВ не развито). Готовят отлично, вкусно и если покупать, то еще и достаточно приемлемо по деньгам. Мы покупали только завтрак, шведский стол, все свежее вкусное. Персонал дружелюбный, не игнорит и решат вопросы. Были в Гудауте в лзаа в сентябре, там как то все было сложно, что у Фатимы, что в ласточке. Не хочу их рекомендовать, да и лзаа с коровьем навозом везде на дорогах, с обещанием особых реликтовых сосен, которые есть во всей Абхазии и это место не уникально, с трудной транспортной доступностью нам не понравилось и мы туда больше не поедем. Новый Афон другое дело, чисто, чистый воздух, много мест для прогулок и исследований, проходит трасса где при желании можно поймать маршрутку без проблем. По итогам: отличный отель в отличном месте.

The hotel is very cozy, clean, the rooms are spacious with everything you need: hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, refrigerator and digital TV. The view of the mountains with the New Athos Waterfall and the Simon Cananite Church is simply magnificent (especially in the evening).
There are shops and a souvenir market nearby.
You can walk to the New Athos Monastery and stroll through the park by the sea.
The place is picturesque.
I will be happy to stay at this hotel again 😍

Отель такой домашний, персонал очень дружелюбный.
На удивление хорошая полноценная кухня в виде шведского стола - всё вкусно и дешевле чем в бесконечных кафешках Нового афона с соответствующим контингентом...(это огромный плюс)
Номера вроде как стандартные качественные, но лишний мне кажется ковролин везде в комнатах, и у нас в комнате жили везде МАЛЕНЬКИЕ МУРАВЬИ, даже в чемодан залезли..
Отель совсем не на первой линии, но от него можно подняться до монастыря и увидеть с балкона красоты водопада и хр. Симеона Кананита
Вообще отелю не хватает бассейна))
и нам ОЧЕНЬ сильно не понравилось что со стороны дороги играла ужасная громкая музыка в караоке и не давала нам спать) слышимость очень хорошая у окон)
