It's been an absolute pleasure to dine in Afsona. The place is, first of all, visually appealing with its interior successfully blending traditional Uzbek attributes with contemporary minimalistic design, complimented with dimmed warm lighting. The staff is welcoming and helpful. I would also point out that the waiters were quite professional, which as we later noticed, was not that common in Tashkent. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Uzbek dishes. We did not have to wait long for our food to arrive. It was made of fresh and delicious veggies as well as meat. I would recommend Tavuk Say which kinda reminded me of classic Georgian chakhakhbili - it was fantastic. Cheburek and Samsa were also nice, so were the crispy eggplant salad and plov. I was surprised to see the bar menu so large and diverse, it had both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We got ourselves buckthorn tea and an NA Pina Colada - both were good. I would def recommend visiting if you want to try traditional high quality Uzbek cuisine for quite a reasonable price 🤜🏻🤛🏻

I went to get a takeaway while waiting for it i saw a man receiving the takeaway in a official restaurant cover with the name logo and everything but when it was my turn for takeaway she gave it in a plain white cover which wasn't even new one by looking we can make out it wasn't crisp its a old cover why was I treated like that why two different persons for takeaway get two different covers is it because im indian and not a local person felt very uncomfortable and racist here

I wanted to eat manti today. As the classic said, it was getting dark. I explored many different places and decided to take a walk with my wife to Afsona. Unfortunately, there were no empty seats (a good sign!) . But manager Dahler kindly wrote down my phone number and called as soon as the table was available. What is it... To say that it was perfectly delicious is to swallow your tongue.. Achichuk made from fragrant tomatoes. Warming tea Tashkent. And, of course, manta rays. This is not my first time in Tashkent, we lived here for several months, and traveled around Uzbekistan.. And these are the best manta rays. Dough, filling, serving. I give a standing ovation to the cook!!! The interior is cozy. Despite the full landing, it was quiet. The prices are pleasant, and if they seem a bit high TO someone BEFORE visiting, do not hesitate, you will get a gastronomic pleasure. And don't forget the sweet baklava for dessert!

Excellent restaurant, delicious, cozy, without pathos. I recommend arriving early or booking a table. Very attentive. After the visit, I left them a positive review and came back a couple of days later. They figured out it was me and complimented me. I was very surprised! And the compliment was delicious!

It's great both in the restaurant itself and for delivery. They took mashkhurda, mastava, chuchvara, flatbread with suzma! Everything is very very tasty! We also tried other dishes here, including pilaf, it's good here, not greasy, it will be ideal for a foreigner. Some classic items are missing from the menu, for example: olot somsa with meat and tandoor somsa. The soames that is on the menu is still inferior to the tandoor. I recommend everyone to visit, especially the branch on Shevchenko.

This restaurant of national Uzbek cuisine is just a godsend! The menu here is not ordinary: in addition to traditional pilaf, you can try, for example, vegan pilaf with fruits. Although I really love classic pilaf, this meat-free option was just fine. Excellent chebureks are also prepared here. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant, the service is at a high level, everyone is polite and attentive. This is a great place to hike with foreigners and guests of the capital. The food here is adapted, not as heavy as quite traditional, but at the same time the spirit of national cuisine is preserved, which makes it suitable even for unprepared stomachs. In addition to Uzbek dishes, there are also European dishes on the menu. The location of the restaurant is also very convenient. I definitely recommend it for a visit!

Good afternoon. We visited this restaurant a year ago and more than once. Today we arrived after a long break and there was a very unpleasant aftertaste! My husband ordered lagman, I ordered a salad with Feta cheese, which I waited for 40 minutes. At the same time, the restaurant is half empty. As a result, the salad was brought without cucumbers and tomatoes (it turns out the cook forgot) and with one olive cut into halves. That is, there were just lettuce leaves on the plate, three onion rings, 1 cherry tomato cut in half and that same lonely olive. The receptionist apologized and said that the cook had forgotten, as a result, the ingredients were reported, but just in a plate next to it. Are you serious? Terrible service, lack of technical maps and recipes! While the administrator was sorting things out and the cook was adding the ingredients, the cheese cooled down. Thank you for waiting for the salad at 1 o'clock and for leaving the restaurant hungry. If you want to eat delicious local food, don't set foot in Afson. Go to the local Milli Tomlar and enjoy authentic local cuisine.

A sad attempt to make a non-standard restaurant with pretensions and appropriate prices. We were there before closing, and the staff was "very unobtrusive" (actively communicating with each other). The price tag is too high, the dishes taste below average. In the same quarter, there are significantly more interesting establishments in the same price category.

Everything is incredibly delicious! Pilaf, manti, shah, giant cheburek -they just couldn't leave. They crawled away with their bellies bursting. The waiters also respect, they changed the plates 5 times, they constantly asked if they needed anything, despite the fact that it was unobtrusive. And at the end of the evening, a present from the chef was served-a crumbly, fragrant watermelon. Tashkent's hospitality is revealed here. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart!
