This restaurant of national Uzbek cuisine is just a godsend! The menu here is not ordinary: in addition to traditional pilaf, you can try, for example, vegan pilaf with fruits. Although I really love classic pilaf, this meat-free option was just fine. Excellent chebureks are also prepared here.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant, the service is at a high level, everyone is polite and attentive. This is a great place to hike with foreigners and guests of the capital. The food here is adapted, not as heavy as quite traditional, but at the same time the spirit of national cuisine is preserved, which makes it suitable even for unprepared stomachs. In addition to Uzbek dishes, there are also European dishes on the menu.
The location of the restaurant is also very convenient. I definitely recommend it for a visit!

For the first time in Tashkent, we went to have lunch. Everything that was ordered was very tasty. For two we took: eggplant salad, vegetable salad (I don't remember the name), a plate of pilaf, lamb kebab, mojito and local water. The staff is good, we were served by Dierbi. Everything is incredibly delicious! Pilaf, manti, shah, giant cheburek -they just couldn't leave. They crawled away with their bellies bursting. The waiters also respect, they changed the plates 5 times, they constantly asked if they needed anything, despite the fact that it was unobtrusive. Место очень вкусное, камерное, уютное, колоритное. Можно еще много эпитетов применить к этому заведению. Все блюда, что попробовали мы с супругом за наше путешествие по Ташкенту, а это два обеда и два ужина, были просто восхитительны. В предложенном меню гармонично сочетается специфика национальной кухни с виртуозным ее исполнением. Цена/качество/количество абсолютно адекватны. Для меня, как для посетителя еще очень важным критерием является запах в заведении. При том объеме и ритме работы кухни ни одного лишнего запаха (Жир, гарь, лук) не мешает наслаждаться едой и ароматами выбранных блюд. Молодцы. Желаю процветания, постоянных клиентов и не растерять достигнутого уровня. Обязательно вернемся и надеюсь не разочаруемся.

Готовят вкусно, сервис на высоте. Всем советую мохито. Самса тоже необычная и вкусная. Заказ не нужно ждать часами, при этом блюда свежие.
Единственное, для оплаты нужно спускаться к кассе или ждать, когда официант принесёт чек с картой, а это не быстро.

we came to Uzbekistan for the first time, and while in Tashkent we decided to taste national dishes.
We chose an institution by rating.
The restaurant has an open kitchen area – most of the employees are clearly local, which they certainly know how to cook national dishes (spoiler alert – no).
First, there are many running menu items in the stop list. The lamb kebab is not brought to taste, the meat is without salt and spices, as if it were not pickled at all. The whole thing is overcooked, as the pieces are extra small and simply burned in the grill. The portion was tiny, and besides, there were just pieces of fried fat without meat...
there was only vinegar in the salad dressing, it tasted bad.
A flatbread (just some kind of flatbread!!!) they managed to roast it to a bitter crust. After asking for her replacement, employees began to look around the corner and look askance, who, they say, did not like their work)))
The apotheosis was the pilaf, forgotten by the waiter at the distribution, which already turned out to be "flat" in taste, and even cooled down! Moreover, 3 dishes were ordered in total, and even then the waiter did not cope!
Taking into account the "super maintenance", it was not planned to leave a tip, especially since 15% is included in the check. We waited a long time for the change ...
a lot of show-offs are not enough!

Современный ресторан предлагающий изыски Узбекской кухни. Все блюда - действительно гастрономические изыски. Многие жалуются, что порции не большие - да не большие, но вполне достаточные для стройных европейцев, ценящих свою форму.
В будни дни ресторан с 12 до 15 часов предлагает хороший бизнес ланч за 65000 сум. Каждый день меню разное - есть возможность попробовать все за несколько обедов. Столики лучше заказывать заранее - днём и вечером ресторан очень популярен и может не быть места если прийти без бронирования

I don't recommend this place. First of all, this is banal rudeness. I will give an example from my own experience.
I ordered a beef kebab for myself, but it turned out to be tough and I had to eat it through force. And this is also taking into account the fact that shish kebab there costs twice as much as in ordinary teahouses where the shish kebab has always been of the right quality. I asked the waitress to solve this problem, she went to communicate with the cook and immediately returned and a similar dialogue took place :
""The cook said that the barbecue was cooked correctly""
I say: The meat is tough, it can't be cooked.
"So what are your specific claims?" "
I'm telling you that it's hard, so it shouldn't be
" "And how do you know what it should be?""
I already ate shish kebab a few days ago and there were no questions
about it ""Are you sure for sure that you ate shish kebab?"" And then you know for sure that it was mutton ?""
No, I ate beef and now it's beef
too ""I do not know what you ordered, but I assure you that this is a real shish kebab, it is cooked correctly""
After that, I ended this strange conversation because I caught its essence. And the essence is this: Eat what they give and pay. Or pay up and get out. That's all. I am a native of Tashkent myself and I know perfectly well how a well-cooked beef kebab tastes or poorly cooked. I suspect that I was mistaken for a foreigner and similar claims were made to them from tourists, to which they responded in a similar way.
There were a lot of visitors that day and why deal with one dissatisfied customer. And this is despite the fact that there were three of us and we were celebrating a birthday and I left an amount in the restaurant in the region of 1,500,000 soums. Even this cannot force them to be respectful to customers. Of course, there are richer customers, especially tourists who do not know much about local dishes.
Perhaps you personally will have everything right when visiting this place, but if it turns out that the dish is cooked badly, no one will fix anything for you. Keep that in mind.

Впервые в Узбекистане и впервые в Ташкенте , остановились отель Минор и нам посоветовали блюда национальной кухни только туда идти - ну тут недалеко и мы пошли ,,,,, по еде Взяли салаты - ну салаты и салаты на 4ку ,,, взял себе Шурпу с бараниной - ну Шурпа и шурпа на 4ку если честно частенько в Казани в Тандеме на 3м этаже заказываю и ем там Шурпу - и в Казани она Веуснееее Однозначно !!!! Шашлык куриный - норм мягкий прям сыну и супруге понравилось и я попробовал ДА вкусно на 5 и тут Принесли мне шашлык из баранины Корейка - зачем я блин заказал 2 порции (🤣🤣🤣я то думал шашлык Бомба) НО Шашлык Корейка просто говнище - ну невкусно вообще - видно что кости огромные значит старый барашек - куски какие-то толстые и сырое мясо , какие тонкие и сухое мясо прям - итого я понадкусал и оставил им,,, десерт чак чак ни о чём на 2 ку смело !!!! Невкусный Ресторан Национальной кухни!!!! Не рекомендую ,,, стока ресторанов блин прошли пока шлепали до этого и там невкусно - ээххх обидно !!!!

Единственное преимущество, что чисто, уютно и пиво дают, но если хочется вкусной еды за адекватный ценник, то наверное стоит поискать другое место.
Не готов рекомендовать такое в Ташкенте, но до этого питались в Самарканде и Бухаре, там было не менее вкусно, а может и более, и гораздо бОльшие порции.
Для сравнения, тут с ребенком на двоих взяли суп с фрикадельками (моя мама вкуснее готовит), рулеты из баклажан, корейку, две самсы и пиво, обошлось в 225 тысяч, ушли немного голодными.
Корейка - три маленьких, но вкусных кусочка.
В Бухаре взяли тандыр из баранины, четыре корейки, айран, компот и лепешку.
Два мужика, девушка и ребенок еле ушли, ещё и лепёшку с собой забрали - 336 000.
Очень вкусно было.
В общем спорное место, но остальные в Ташкенте нам понравились ещё меньше.

Пошли по совету менеджера отеля за вкусным пловом. Столик заказали на 17, пришли в 16.45 и нас попросили заказать быстрее, потому что в 17 кухня и бар закрываются . А если бы мы пришли вовремя? Праздничного плова в меню не оказалось, как и салата из овощей, который я выбрала . Взяли, что есть. Салат от шеф- повара и рис в плове были неплохими, за них и добавила две звёзды, хотя, честно говоря - не прям рисинка к рисинке( в Инжире было вкуснее) . А вот Мясо в плове было жестким и холодным, как будто его отдельно отварили в воде несколько дней назад, порезали на микроскопические кусочки и подсохшими и положили сверху. . Официант на замечание пожал плечами с сочувствием и удалился. За все это -250 000! Это был самый дорогой и невкусный наш обед в Ташкенте.
