One of the advantages: being in the center of Varedero. There are many cafes and shops nearby. There is a place to go in the evening. There is a picturesque park nearby. The ocean is 5 minutes away.
Among the disadvantages: tired buildings, tired rooms. Dirty dishes, poor food. There were 3 trays with a mountain of chopped cabbage - this is an assortment of salads. I didn't like the watermelon. But I enjoyed eating papaya. Pineapple and guava were also served from fruits. Very tasty ice cream. It is better to take it from the very beginning, otherwise you will have to stand in line for it for a long time. The service is below average. Not all rooms have safes. There were no complaints about cleaning the room, they came every day. I was lucky: I was put in a room with serviceable plumbing, but many complained that they had problems with the shower or toilet in their rooms. Only half of the dining room is served (I can't call it a restaurant). Therefore, when it's time for lunch or dinner, a queue forms at the entrance. Those who can't fit in are waiting at the door for someone to eat and come out. There was coffee only on the first day of rest and on the last. Tea was not always available either. I don't drink alcohol, but as I understood it, it quickly ended: they offered only beer or vodka.

Excellent hotel , good location in the heart of Varadero, within walking distance of the ocean - it's just great. The hotel itself is beautiful , large territory , well maintained . The rooms are also large , they are cleaned every day, towels are changed on demand and bed linen , too, the food is very tasty, varied and you eat meat and fish and salads , because the cook is prepared with a soul. The waiters work at the highest level , and if you treat Alyonka, everything will be at your feet . The girls are also doing well in the lobby bar, they prepare delicious coffee, high-quality drinks, they do not regret it. Everything is clean , polite , smiling staff . Come and you won't regret it, I've been to other hotels, but Palm Real is the best!!! I also want to add that I really liked the annimation , artists come every evening , everything is new , you just won 't be bored , I recommend it . I'll be back again, I can't wait for my vacation! And Cuba is SUPER COOL.

The Cuban hotel is 4 stars.
A good and best location in Varadero (the very center, 5 minutes to the beach).
We spent 3 weeks, the check-in was quick after 16.00, the guard escorted us to the room, helped with the luggage.
The maids cleaned as standard every day, clean towels in the bath, and left 2 large towels for the beach and 1.5 of water for each day. The maid made a masterpiece of towels on the bed every time - very cute.
The staff is all friendly, friendly and smiling.
You will not stay hungry, you can choose products (vegetables, sliced meat, pasta, meat and fruits, ice cream) for yourself on the Swede. (there was no bread for the last week).
Animation was working, there were excellent sun beds on the beach.
I even managed to go to an A la carte restaurant- but the food is all from the Swedish))))
There is a shop on site that has everything you need (you can pay with a card)
I recommend the hotel!
