Pros: a good location and view from recently renovated embankment. Tasty breakfast. Apartments have a balcony. Affordable. Cons: I've got a room for 4 with 2 double deck beds, which is too many for any single person. The bathroom is small and needs to be renovated. Bottom line: Good and affordable hotel for a group of young travellers who want to save money and enjoy hiking and sightseeing.

I like the Amaks hotels, mix of modern and ancient times. This one in Veliky Novgorod has been reformed and offers very good quality for the price. The restaurant is a hidden gem I liked very much.
