I liked it very much. Helpful and friendly staff. We talked in detail about the exhibitions that are currently taking place. We only looked at the main halls. Floor of iconography and salaries, painting, sculpture, ceramics. Everything is very interesting. We watched a movie about the restoration of frescoes. It was the most amazing room.

Today we held a museum lesson "Hell Polacka light" at the Art Gallery for the participants of the Skorinovsky Days in Polotsk. The friendly staff, the warm atmosphere, the help in organizing the event - all this left pleasant impressions and a desire to visit this place again.

Музей состоит из трех этажей - иконопись, реализм и авангард; преимущественно белорусские, русские и советские художники. Особенно запомнился зал, где на выдвижных инсталляциях размещены оттиски реставрации со Спасо-Преображенского храма Спасо-Евфросиниевского монастыря. В этом храме сейчас ведутся реставрационные работы по приведению фресок храма в исходный вид от 12 века. Отдельное Спасибо сотруднице Алесе, которая дополнила комментариями 7-ми минутный фильм о реставрации. Обязательно к посещению!
