My impressions of Barcelo, I must say, I'm not picky, but this is not the first time in Cuba and there is something to compare it with. About the hotel and rooms - the hotel is in good condition, the rooms (we are 7 people and three rooms) are decent, there are mattresses, pillows, toilet paper, no brush, the air conditioner is working properly. Elevators break down ALL the time, and it's good if one of them works. We got stuck 4 times and it's very stuffy in it, in short, the elevator is a lottery. Then the positive is everything for me... Dining and food: if you are not in the front rows, then get ready to stand in line, especially lunch and dinner. Also, if you are not the first to have to find the devices, you will have to sit at the end of the hall, then the devices are plastic. The waiters run erratically, often forget about you and have to be reminded to bring drinks. There is no organization in the cafeteria. The food was like everywhere else, beef, chicken, and even some good mutton. Moo-moo soup, well, that's it. Eggs are not always for breakfast. Not hungry in short. You won't find coffee until 7 a.m.!!! Entertainments: It's all very sad here. During the day, there is a bar in the lobby, by the pool and closer to the Arenas, on the beach. The cocktails are intermittent, then there is no cola, then mint. After 17, only the lobby bar is open and it is open until 23, as well as the DJ, then silence. You can sit in a stuffy restaurant at night, but you can't take out drinks. There is daytime animation for children, adults here, as in the Sovdepov sanatorium. There is a disco in the evening in the hall, imagine the Soviet house of culture, where dancing takes place between the seats. Varadero's walking distance with bars and restaurants saves you. Beach: very wide, there are sun beds and "mushrooms" at a distance. There is no music or animation. Catamarans, boats closer to Arenas. For drinks, either queue at the pool or bar closer to the Arenas. To summarize: I will go here again, no, I will recommend it to my friends - no 100%. The ocean is love!!! It's beautiful everywhere!!! I threw one star across the ocean, so it would be ⭐️⭐️

We had a vacation in November 2025. The hotel is nice, beautiful, very convenient location! The beach is just super, just like in the picture. There is a lot of food, there is a lot to choose from! We never went hungry! Fish, chicken, pork and beef are always available) delicious cheeses, fruits and desserts. There are tired elements, the hotel is not new, but it did not interfere with our rest! Considering the country's economic system, it's a great vacation for that kind of money! There are not many mosquitoes in November, you can take something from insects with you so that you don't strain!) the staff is polite, pleasant, we will miss them very much)) we flew with the child, we'll come back and decide everything)!

I went to a great hotel there in November. Upon arrival, I was immediately given a bracelet and checked in. The food is good at 7 a.m. for breakfast and up to 10 p.m. at 12.30 p.m. for lunch and up to 15 p.m. at 6.30 p.m. for dinner and up to 22 p.m. The staff is very polite, I just go to lunch and immediately ask what to bring from the drinks. When I went to the beach, the workers offered to buy a coconut. There is a lot of coconut water in a coconut and it costs only 1 dollar. There are parties and bingo every evening. I advise everyone to go to Cuba. One thing is bad, it's a 15-hour flight, but it's worth it.
