Have arrived. The 2nd time to Cuba. These are comrades trash. The first time we were on Kaya Coco and there was a normal hotel there. Even the 3rd one doesn't smell here. Everything killed. There are no beach towels. Of the drinks, only rum. There is not even juice for the child. One thing pleases the room with an ocean view. I read the reviews and thought people come up with and it doesn't happen that way, but no, the reviews are all true

We were in December 2019
The hotel is old but the rooms are clean. All have good views.
I really liked the area, because there is a lot of greenery, there is a super huge cactus.
The beach is right there.
The food is average, but OK.
When we were there, we could use the pools and beaches of the neighboring hotel. Well, we also went to the canteen, it was better there and there was more choice.
The location is not bad, there is a place to walk.

The first time we were in Cuba, the hotel was disappointing. Cubans should not expect service, hospitality, they absolutely do not care about all requests, but they are very good at smiling hypocritically.
The room was in a shabby condition, by the end of the rest, the ceiling was leaking heavily in our bathroom, the door also broke, we could not leave the room, we had to disassemble the lock ourselves, the only way we could get out.
It is unclear why there are phones in the rooms - it is impossible to call from them.
The food every day + is the same, the meat is like plasticine, but a lot of delicious fruits.
The pool is often dirty, but it is cleaned promptly, at lunch there are all kinds of entertainment around it like mini golf / charging ..
The bartenders work with a bang, all alcoholic beverages consist of rum, which is logical..
The beach is 5-7 minutes away, very convenient location, plus for this.
Also, if you want to buy something / eat somewhere else, go to the America Plaza shopping center, a taxi costs 10 € to get to it from the hotel.
In general, it's fine, very average, I wouldn't come back here anymore.

But the most interesting thing is that I came to this hotel twice at night for a beer and both times it ended.How can BEER run out at 5* on an all-inclusive system??? Barcelo is the verdict for you. Otherwise, more or less. During the week, the bed was not changed, only made, there are no slippers in the room, the Canadians are yelling, but for me it's okay to rest. There are tennis courts with painted asphalt, but no rackets. They show her all torn up, with torn strings and without winding, without options in general. The food is monotonous, after 4 days we were tired, 2 restaurants remained well, which did not allow us to stretch our legs. I am sure that yesterday's food is served the next day, but what is not eaten from the plates goes to the trash. Napkins on the tables are only for breakfast. Hmm, that's weird! It is expensive to get out of the hotel: a moped - 35 euros / day, a car - at least 2 days 230 euros / day - space is simple. The excursions are so-so. There is no Russian disco and there was no animators once a week. The cards are constantly demagnetized. There is no Internet in Cuba, so WiFi for euros / hour at the reception can be attributed to a plus. Of the pros: of course, the Atlantic Ocean, a comfortable temperature every day, the rum is fine, you can drink beer, the bungalow was not bad behind the pool from the main building

A disgusting hotel. The rooms are in poor condition, there are problems with the light - one light bulb for the whole room. Towels are changed once every 3 days. Beach towels have never been changed in 13 days. Dirt and dampness. It's very crowded and noisy. The Wi-Fi router works terribly... knee-deep pools (62cm max.deep)....cocktails are not tasty, they do it randomly...the advantages are a good beach, decent food and location... More negativity from this hotel.
