The tower and the square around it are amazing, especially at night when the lights are on! I went up to the top around sunset and enjoyed the view! Ticket is very affordable.

The Baiterek is a must see, maybe Astana's equivalent to the Eiffel Tower, London's Big Ben, and New York's Statue of Liberty. It's pretty much mandatory to visit if you're in Astana. Even if there is a line to put your hand in the imprint, you should wait it out and do so.

Review of the visit to the Baiterek monument First impression Baiterek is, of course, the business card of Astana. The majestic structure impresses with its size and architectural design. The place really deserves the attention of everyone who comes to the capital of Kazakhstan. What you liked * Panoramic views of the city from the top platform are the main highlight. You can see almost the entire city in the palm of your hand. * The area around the monument is well-equipped: lots of greenery, comfortable benches and walking paths. * Photo zones are an ideal place for memorable photos. No wedding is complete without a photo shoot here. * The symbolism of the building inspires respect for the national culture and architecture. Practical points * The elevators are well-organized, with large viewing windows; although there are queues during peak hours. * The ticket price is quite affordable. * The visit time is about 20-30 minutes to the observation deck itself. Minuses * It's a little stuffy on the upper levels, despite the powerful air conditioners. * The photo quality may decrease due to the glare of the athermal glasses, which change the color tone. * Queues at the ticket office and elevators can take a lot of time. General recommendations It is best to visit Bayterek on weekdays when there are fewer visitors. Morning time is the best option to avoid queues. Result Despite the minor drawbacks, a visit to Bayterek is a must-see for every tourist. This place leaves vivid impressions and gives unforgettable emotions from the views of the city. I definitely recommend you to visit! Rating: 5 out of 5

The monument made an indelible impression, both outside and inside! An interesting creation story. We went up to the observation deck. The girl guides are happy to tell the nuances about the construction of the tower and in general about the city itself and the objects that are visible from the observation deck. There is an object at the top in the form of a handprint of the former president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, it is believed that if you put your hand on his fingerprint and make a wish, it will definitely come true, I didn't know what to wish for)) I recommend you to visit!

We couldn't help but visit the symbol of the capital of Kazakhstan! An impressive monument, 105 meters high. A beautiful architectural solution, of course!! The ticket price is quite affordable.👍🏻 Therefore, it is definitely worth visiting and seeing with your own eyes! The downside was that we came in the evening, there was a desire to see the evening city..Unfortunately, there was a long queue, and I had to wait 20 minutes for the elevator. But the biggest disappointment was that we couldn't see anything!!The balloon is covered with a film that reflects everything inside like a mirror, which makes it almost impossible to see the city.😒

It looks very beautiful, it is clearly visible in the center. Like many things in the East, there is symbolism in its architecture - the height of 97 m symbolizes the year of the transfer of the capital to Astana. Admission is paid, but the queue goes fast. You can take the elevator up to the observation deck, to the ball. The diameter of the ball is more than 20 m and it is about 77 meters above the ground. It offers a great panorama of the city, Nurzhol Boulevard and the main attractions. In the center there is another staircase, where the imprint of the first president's right hand, the composition is called "Ayaly Alakan" in translation caring hands- there is a separate queue there for those who want to touch and make a wish - and at the bottom, an employee on the microphone warned that if you take a hand impression, then stand for about an hour.... I abstained...

The Baiterek Monument is a landmark and a business card of Astana. It is located in the center on Nurzhol Boulevard. The monument represents the mythological tree of life, where the roots hold the earth and the branches prop up the sky. There is a cafe and a gallery underground. Glass elevators take you to the top of the monument, where you can enjoy a beautiful view, and there is a bar. Admission for adults is 700 tenge, for children - 300 tenge.

A very beautiful monument in the very center of the capital. The hundred-meter-high tower ends with a huge golden ball. Baiterek in Kazakh folklore is a tree on which the Samruk bird lays a golden egg once a year. There is an elevator inside the tower that allows you to climb to the top, into the golden ball itself, which is an observation deck. There is a beautiful view of the city from there. And you can also touch the impression of the hand of the first Kazakh president, who is in it.

I was here in the evening, and the sight is just fantastic! The bayterek is beautifully illuminated, and the interior is very stylish and modern. The view of the night city with its lights is something unforgettable. I really liked the whole concept from the mythological tree of life to the modern incarnation You can feel the scale and depth of the idea. No complaints about cleanliness or organization. Tickets were purchased without waiting in line. I advise everyone who wants to understand the spirit of modern Kazakhstan and make amazing shots. We got a lot of positive emotions!

I was recently passing through the capital of Kazakhstan, and I was impressed by the Baiterek monument! I can explain that there are steep panoramas of the city from here! It was built in an unusual style on the left bank of the Ishim River. According to official data, the height of the tower is about 105 meters, the diameter of the ball itself is 22 meters!!! It seemed to me that the structure looked like the crown of a huge tree! There are cafes below, aquariums, and a gallery with paintings. In the middle are panoramic glass high-speed elevators that will take you up very quickly. At the very top there is a ball in which there is a panoramic hall and a bar. The glass is slightly darkened so that the sun doesn't glare too much. Be sure to visit here, it's very beautiful, I liked it!

The full name of the monument is "Astana - Baiterek". It is made of a large number of glass, concrete and metal structures. The cost of the materials was about $6 million. The height of the monument is 102 m, along with the ball, and the diameter of the ball is 22 m. Its lower level goes underground by 4 meters. From there, an elevator goes up to the ball, where the panoramic hall is located. There is an ancient Kazakh legend about the sacred bird Samruk. Legend has it that the mythical giant tree, the tree of life, located in the steppe, was called Baiterek. The ancient nomads believed that a World River flowed at the junction of the worlds. It is on its shore that the Tree of Life rises, and its roots go deep into the earth and hold it firmly, and the crown rises high into the sky and supports it. Thus, the tree is located in three worlds: the roots are in the underground, the trunk is in the earthly, and the crown is in the heavenly. At the very top, among the branches of the tree, lives a fabulous bird Samruk. Every year, she laid a golden Sun egg in the crown of the tree, which was swallowed by the Dragon Idahar, who lives at the foot of the tree. It meant the eternal struggle of good and evil, the changing of the seasons and the changing of day and night. The Tree of Life is found in the legends of many peoples, including Russians.  The ascent to the observation deck is 2500 tenge. After the inspection, you enter the lobby, where the ticket offices are located, and then, welcome to the elevator.

The Bayterek Observation Tower, the most beautiful tower in Astana, is 97 meters high. The inside of the tower is also beautiful, it's easy to overcome these 97 meters by elevator in a minute, there is a very beautiful view of Astana from above, there is a cafe here. There is a print of the President of Kazakhstan at the very top, and every local resident wants to touch the print, so there is no way to see the print, the queue does not move towards it. When you are in Astana, be sure to visit this monument.

Having arrived in Astana for the first time, we outlined a plan for visiting the sights. This list includes the Bayterek Tower with an observation deck and a view of the presidential palace. The cost is affordable. We went on a weekday, but despite this there was a queue at the entrance, but we did not regret that we stood in line for about an hour. Beautiful view of the city, interesting architecture, I recommend you to visit

Baiterek made a very pleasant impression. It looks modern and beautiful from the outside, especially in the evening with lighting. There are queues, but they move quite fast. The architecture is symbolic and impressive — you can immediately feel the spirit of Astana. The interior is clean and well maintained, the staff keeps order. The observation deck at the top is worth paying attention to: it offers a panoramic view of the entire city, especially beautiful to look at the new areas and the main attractions. The tours are interesting and provide a lot of information about the history and symbols of the monument.

The Baiterek Monument is one of the most recognizable landmarks of Nur Sultan (formerly Astana) and an important symbol of modern Kazakhstan. It was opened in 2002 on the initiative of the country's first president, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and quickly became the hallmark of the capital. Architecture and symbolism The height of the monument is 97 meters, which symbolizes the year 1997, the year of the transfer of the capital from Almaty to Astana. - Construction: "Baiterek" consists of three parts: - The base is an underground level, representing the past. - The trunk is the trunk of a tree, symbolizing the present. - The ball (pommel) is a golden sphere depicting the sun and the future. - Philosophical meaning: The idea is based on the Kazakh legend of the Baiterek world tree, on top of which the Samruk bird lays a golden egg (the Sun). It symbolizes the harmony of nature, the connection of generations and the desire for development. What's inside? There is an observation deck at the top of the monument, offering panoramic views of the city. You can also see there: - Nazarbayev's handprint ("Ayaly alakan") is a symbol of the unity of the people. - A globe with signatures of representatives of 17 religions is a sign of tolerance. - Art objects and layouts of the city.

Baiterek is a must—see point for tourists and residents. This is a brand of the capital that is worth seeing: here art, history and panoramas are in one place. It is recommended to visit in the morning, go upstairs, touch the "desired" palm print and take a beautiful photo against the background of the city. Recommendations •Arrive before or immediately after opening to avoid queues. •Take a look at the aquarium and the mini‑gallery below — pleasant and informative. •Ideal for photos in clear weather: the "egg ball" shimmers especially beautifully in the sun. •Evening lighting plays 500 shades — creates a magical atmosphere.

You can't come to Astana and not visit its symbol. There is a beautiful view of the city from the observation deck, but the queues are quite exhausting — first to the entrance (about an hour), and then to the topmost platform, where people stand for about the same amount to touch the palm print of the first president of the country in a second and give way to the rest. Upstairs there is a small toilet and a cafe where you can buy ice cream. There are not enough informative stands, exhibitions or interactive content in the upper part, where a ticket costs 2,500 tenge.

Greetings from Nizhny Novgorod! Visiting Baiterek has become one of the most vivid impressions of Astana. This monument is indeed a symbol not only of the capital, but also of the whole of Kazakhstan. Externally, it looks very futuristic and impressive, especially when illuminated in the evening. Taking the elevator to the observation deck is a separate adventure. The view from there is simply amazing: the whole city is in the palm of your hand. I especially remember the handprint of the First President, an interesting idea that gives the place a special meaning. The interior is very clean and modern, everything is organized conveniently for visitors. There is a souvenir shop with a good selection of memorabilia. The prices are, of course, a bit overpriced, but this is to be expected for such a popular attraction. The only thing is that sometimes there are queues, especially on weekends. But the wait is definitely worth it. Baiterek leaves a feeling of touching something really important and symbolic for the Kazakh people. I recommend that you definitely visit to understand the spirit of modern Kazakhstan and take wonderful photos as a souvenir.

Baiterek is the main attraction of Astana and one of the main attractions of the whole of Kazakhstan. It seems to me that Baiterek is for Kazakhstan, like, say, the Spasskaya Tower or St. Basil's Cathedral for Russia, the very first association when it comes to monuments. The height of the monument is 97 meters - in commemoration of 1997, when the capital was moved from Almaty to Astana (then Akmola). Baiterek is a tree from the Kazakh legend. At the top of the tree, the Samruk bird lays a golden egg once a year. Baiterek is a symbol of life, strength, and peace. If you will be at Bayterek, I would advise you to go up to the observation deck. There are queues, but they pass quite quickly. There is a beautiful view of Astana at the top; you can hardly spend much time there, but the panorama is always pleasant -) There is a beautiful park around the monument; not very large, but pleasant.

Baiterek in Astana is a unique symbol tower of Kazakhstan, representing the tree of life and inspired by the legend of the Samruk bird. The height of the structure is almost 100 meters, crowned by a glass ball with a view of the city. Inside there is an exhibition and a handprint of the first president Nazarbayev. The place is a must-visit for tourists due to its original design and significance for Kazakh culture.

This is Bayterek, there is always a queue from 10 to 10, 7 days a week. The view from above is not bad, the queue goes first to the entrance, then to the ticket office, then to the elevator, then to the last floor, then back to the elevator and then to the exit. The view is good, but the plastic windows make it difficult to look and take photos. The prices in the coffee shop are normal. The structure is interesting, the ascent to the top is a dubious choice)

I've seen him in pictures many times, but it didn't impress me. Then we decided to visit Astana with our family. I was there the last time she was in Tselinograd. I was impressed. We just took a walk from Baiterek along the alley and back. We decided to go upstairs, the queue was huge, although it passed quickly, but in front of our noses they said that they were closing for a technical break for an hour, but we were lucky, they said that 10 more people would start. We went up to the top. Awesome If you are in Astana, be sure to visit this place. By the way, the staff is very polite and helpful. Thank you guys.

In July , we were in Astana , and after the planned events, we went to BAITEREK (a huge tall structure in the form of a torch or microphone), we stood for the first day and did not get there, it was very hot and could not stand for 1-2 hours), we did not give up, we went on the second day, stood for 1.5 hours and got there anyway, and I 'll say it again , you don 't have to go on WEEKENDS . Because on weekends , residents from all districts come to see the uniqueness of this place . We stood in line and the heat, took the elevator, everything is in the palm of your hand, this building stands in the middle of the city, it feels like everything was built starting from Bayterek. And on the topmost part, you can see and touch the handprint (in gold)the very ex-president Nazarbayev! There 's also a bathroom , if anything !There is a small cafe + tables where you can have a snack or a snack...+souvenir shop for tourists!

Bayterek impresses not only with its symbolism, but also with its architectural marvel, where the past and the future merge: the atmosphere of technological art reigns inside, and taking an elevator resembles a journey through time. The view from the observation deck is breathtaking, especially at night, when the city lights up thousands of lights. An ideal place for inspiration and understanding of the spirit of Kazakhstan!

Bayterek is not just an attraction, but a real symbol of the capital. An impressive view opens from the observation deck — especially beautiful at sunset or at night, when the city is on fire. BaitErEk is such an important monument in the center of Astana (Astana became the capital in 1997, therefore, the height of Baiterek is 97 m) and the number of rods around the glass ball is 101 - this is the number of nationalities living in Kazakhstan. The main intrigue of Baiterek is the imprint of the "caring hand" of President Nazarbayev, queues are forming for her, Kazakhs are eager to touch and make a wish. It is said that the president himself drew the sketch of Baiterek on a napkin, which is now kept in the museum. Of course, it was great to climb to the very top of the ball in a gilded elevator and see the whole city "in the palm of your hand." You will definitely visit Astana!

Regular ticket 2,500 tenge, pension 2,000 tenge We thought there would be fewer people on weekdays, but no) there are always queues in summer. Be careful that they do not allow a technical break from 13:00 to 13:30, but you can take ice cream (700-800 tenge) and sit and wait. They launch 40 people every 15-20 minutes.🕐 They buy tickets inside, there's a queue there too) But in general, it doesn't last long. Then he takes the elevator and enjoys the beauty. There are air conditioners, so it's comfortable in the heat. ✨ There will also be a queue for the print at the very top, but we got tired of waiting and didn't see it. If you are a family, then you can put someone in line and walk around quietly and look at the view, and then come to your own)
