We were greeted by a dark, gloomy lobby, a small, dirty two-room suite with a sagging sofa in one and a double bed in the other. Actually, there are three of us (my sister and I and my adult daughter). The bedroom window overlooks the fire escape. Charming. On the plus side, it's not a bad location, proximity to the subway and its own kitchen. That is all.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, excellent location (but it's a long walk from the hotel to the subway). I'm reducing it because of the terribly smoky room, where literally everything, even the kind of clean bed linen, stinks of cigarettes
