Tashkent Besh Kozon.
We were at the TV tower in Tashkent on November 3. And we went to have lunch at the nearby Besh Kozon pilaf center. Quite a democratic place. And affordable prices. A large area. A lot of people. Oriental flavor. We still did not understand the service scheme. There are a lot of waiters. It is also not clear who is responsible for what. Seven nannies have an unattended child. They asked to bring additional appliances, they barely waited after several reminders. It's the same with the plates. I also had to wait for the tortillas, who would bring them and when. They brought, alas, cold ones. Pilaf tastes inferior to Samarkand, which we ate there in the Center of pilaf N1. But in general, it's very good, considering the price tag. But it could have been much better with a good organization of waiters.

In the heart of Tashkent, amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, the Besh Qozon restaurant is located, which is famous for its exquisite pilaf. This unique restaurant offers not just food, but a whole journey into the world of Uzbek gastronomy.
The spacious hall with a cozy atmosphere resembles a traditional oriental house, and the aroma of freshly cooked pilaf attracts guests from the first steps. Dishes are prepared here according to ancient recipes, using only selected products. The famous besh kozon, combining tender meat, bright spices and crumbly rice, fascinates with its taste and rich color.
Visitors note not only the quality of the dishes, but also the high level of service. The waiters are polite and responsive, every customer feels welcome. The variety of the menu allows everyone to find something to their liking, whether it's classic pilaf with lamb or more modern variations of the dish.
Besh Qozon is not just a restaurant, it is a place where traditions and modern trends combine, allowing you to enjoy real Uzbek tastes in a relaxed atmosphere. With Sh-M-NIM - you will taste not only the most delicious pilaf, but also visit other unique places in Uzbekistan!

The famous besh kozon, next to the TV tower. 5 huge pavilions where different types of pilaf are prepared, wedding, tea house, etc. The portion is large, they cook delicious. This is especially true for those who are here for the first time, but also for local residents. Be sure to come and appreciate the national flavor.
Pilaf, achichuk salad, hot tortilla, tea with lemon and sugar.

Great place! Fast service and delicious pilaf. The staff is helpful and courteous. There is a small playground on the second floor (free of charge). And importantly, it does not stink in the bathroom, which is rare for inexpensive establishments!

An excellent institution, a must-visit in Tashkent. Choose places indoors, it's cooler there. It is interesting to walk through the kitchen, where there are huge cauldrons, it looks more like a hot workshop. Take the wedding pilaf, as quail testicles, dolma, and kazy are also coming to it. The pilaf here is gorgeous. I recommend compote, if tea, then green. Lemonades look beautiful, they taste terrible.

A tourist place, there are a lot of people who want to. There is a problem with the service, if you take self-service, finding an empty table is a huge problem. But the place itself is interesting that several varieties of pilaf are prepared, huge cauldrons, ovens where tortillas are baked, everything is in plain sight. It's cool to watch it live

price-quality ratio . delicious is not expensive . There's not enough beer, but it's great with green tea. good quality pilaf and enough meat. for whom it is not enough to order meat 17,000 soums (1.5 dollars ) . you can see how they cook behind the glass . the hall is clean. they are cleaned immediately without delay. the waiters do not get confused and bring it clearly ( unlike many other expensive places )

If you want to eat real Uzbek pilaf, then here you are. There is a large cross-country area and therefore pilaf is prepared in large quantities and in large cauldrons, which gives a unique taste. I tried the "wedding" pilaf, with yellow carrots, raisins, chickpeas. They also put homemade horsemeat sausage and one dolma in the plate. The portion is very large. 💪 In general, if for pilaf, then here.

I had lunch here 3 times during my stay in Tashkent. Everything was fine the first time. The second time I got a rude waitress who couldn't even say hello and took the order with a crooked face. I had to call another waiter who knows how to work with people. The third time they already knew me and gave me a Russian-speaking waitress, to whom I clearly told what I needed. As a result, they added additional 15 thousand soms, when they brought it, I immediately told them that I did not order it. To which she replied that it was a bonus. Well, I thought maybe a bonus for yesterday's incident, OK. As it turned out , it was driven into the account . I explained to the cashier that I did not order it, the bill was recalculated.
PS: I am from Russia, and I am also a Muslim, it was very unpleasant to have lunch with you 2 and 3 times. Let your waiters be ashamed when they read this review. The pilaf itself is delicious.

A large and cozy pilaf hut, I often order pilaf with me. Very neat and clean, the staff is polite. There are different types of pilaf, choose according to taste. I bought tui oshi (wedding pilaf) with olive oil, but the rice is really hard. Sometimes they cook well, but not always. I recommend ordering pilaf without olive oil or tea house, the rice is softer there.

I got into some kind of collapse! The electricity is off. There are no waiters to be found. Mountains with dirty dishes, no one cleans the walls. I barely waited until the table was empty. I took it and waited for the cleaner to clean the table. It took about 25 minutes for no one to clean up. I had to put everything on the floor myself! The food was bought literally at the checkout, the appliances were nowhere to be found, as it turned out there was also no water and nothing to wash with. Either the cleaner was passing by, or the waitress was going to get us the appliances, but! I saw that her name was "fellow countrymen", and... Just silently turned around and left to serve them!
Gentlemen managers! Are you familiar with rating and reputation concepts?
I do not recommend anyone to come here, but I would not waste my time looking for waiters and dishes!

The principle of the order is as follows: sit down, the waiter comes up to you, place an order, a receipt is brought along with the order, at the checkout exit, you pay there. I took a special pilaf, with achichuk salads and a kettle of lemon tea, with service I paid 68,000 soums (~ 476 rubles). A portion of 0.7 pilaf is 400 grams. It tastes a little greasy and has a lot of pepper. And it's worth a visit. And yes, there are two Besh Qozons in the city. The one with the huge cauldrons at the address: 3ya Aklan str., 1, if I had known about it, of course, I would have gone there, of course, it is more atmospheric there. But in principle, I do not regret it, there will be a reason to return to Tashkent :)

Excellent pilaf, there are 3 options Bukhara, Tashkent and diet with olive oil. There is an option to sit both inside with air conditioning and outside, if you are not afraid of the temperature of +42 in summer. I think this is the best pilaf I've ever eaten.

Already at the entrance you can see that the place is very popular: a lot of cars, people scurrying back and forth. We came in and explained that we wanted to have a delicious meal in the warmth. We were offered a second floor with sofas. Despite the abundance of people, there was even a place by the window. They immediately asked if visa cards were accepted. They accept it. There are only pilaf from the menu, five types. But we arrived after 16:00, and there were only two left. We ordered both on trial. I liked both of them. Pilaf is not dry, with lots of goodies, chickpeas. The portions are quite large, overeaten. Pilaf additives are salads. We took the usual one with tomatoes. From cola/Fanta/tea drinks. There is no alcohol. A hearty lunch for two with tea cost 96,000 som. The atmosphere is cozy, people come in whole companies.

Only delight. My husband and I came from Moscow to see Tashkent and Samarkand for a week. Of course, we have heard a lot about Uzbek cuisine. I planned this place to visit back in Moscow. It's very atmospheric. Pilaf is cooked in huge cauldrons and this area is accessible to the public. There are two floors in the huge dining room. The waiters work, take the order very quickly and bring it quickly. There are several types of pilaf on the menu. We ate wedding and Fergana (in my opinion). We drank tea and mahito (no alcoholic drinks), and also ordered a flatbread. In general, they ate for about 700 rubles. I definitely recommend you to visit

Pilaf was brought in a dirty plate🙄 toilet on the street (the worst toilet in my tourist life😱), the tortillas are not baked, they smell of yeast, literally raw dough, suzma without herbs and salt, achchak chuchuk is a salad of the cheapest hard unsweetened non-Uzbek tomatoes and onions. We believed 5 thousand good reviews-we did not understand at all why these stars were set and these reviews were written. The "tea house" pilaf is generally tasteless, no seasonings or sourness, the "special" pilaf is good if it were not for a dirty plate - I ate only the top with meat from it.

We went to eat the famous pilaf at this institution 2 days before departure, in our company of 10 adults and 8 children, all were poisoned. In the evening of that day, all the torments began in the hotel for 2 days, diarrhea and vomiting could not be stopped, both adults and children from 1.5 years old to 11 years old suffered on the train for 18 hours. It was tough. Where the SES is looking, there is clearly a complete lack of sanitation! We are just coming to our senses and decided to write reviews wherever possible!!! Not another foot!!! And I will not advise my loved ones!

We were at this address on a weekday afternoon, because we just couldn't sit down at a table on Saturday afternoon - there were too many people there.
And here we immediately went up to the top floor, it was cozy, beautiful, and calm. The waiters served quickly. Pilaf is incredibly delicious! Knowing what huge portions we took in Tashkent for 0.7 servings (for girls this is already a decent portion), I also recommend local black tea with lemon, lemons are different here, the tea is very fragrant. Besides, you should drink hot after pilaf.
Pilaf, on the recommendation of friends, was taken for a wedding and kazy was added to it. You can add quail eggs. The tortilla is also delicious and hot.
We also took a salad of fresh vegetables. They paid about 100,000 soums for everything, a little more (it's about 900 rubles). Payment is made according to the table number: go to the cash register yourself and pay in it.
I recommend you to visit!

Pilaf can be delicious , the place is a landmark of the city
But the staff at the tennis stadium are behaving extremely disgustingly.
They break tree branches to pick apples , are rude and swear obscenely during the collection of free fruits.
They introduced themselves to the stadium staff , in fact they were wearing "besh qozon" clothes
They often come to smoke and spit, although the stadium area is very well maintained.
