The people were very helpful and explained in detail how to get to it, so it wasn't a big deal to get lost. It was as if the beaver had been specially placed in the center of the city so that anyone could enjoy the streets of the city until they reached it.

Beaver Samuilovich, the name the people of Bobruisk gave to their symbol, is dressed in a dapper costume of the early 20th century: a frock coat with a vest under it, trousers, shoes, a bow tie around his neck, and a watch chain on his stomach. Left hand (or paw?) He is leaning on a cane, and in his right hand, his hat is raised in a greeting gesture. When the author of the sculpture, theater artist Vladimir Gavrilenko, came up with an outfit for his character, the image of Buba Kastorsky from the movie "The Elusive Avengers" popped up in his head, and indeed, it seems to me, these two characters are very similar to each other.

Funny beaver sculpture in the very center of the old town in Bobruisk. I considered it an honor to rub his belly and take a photo with this cute character. In general, the city of Bobruisk is very nice, calm, green and it is a pleasure to walk around it. I recommend it!
