Maybe 30 years ago it was a great hotel at the highest standards of its time. But as of today, and compared to other Western Hotels, this is maximum 1 or 2 stars. The room did not have modern furniture and was not very pleasant. Nevertheless: breakfast was very good and the soviet art gallery on the walls was very authentic and beautiful to see.

An excellent hotel in terms of location and interior, inside it is like a museum, in your free time you can walk around the floors and see the interior and photos of celebrities. There are no kettles in the rooms, they are provided on request. The breakfasts are modest, the variety is average, but the products are of high quality (remember that this is Belarus: here cheeses are cheeses, not colored vegetable fat, and fruit juices and drinks are fruit and drinks, not colored sugar water). The hotel has an elevator on the side of the building. About accessibility for wheelchairs: the entrance is almost level with the ground, but perhaps the door will seem tight and you will need to hold it. The two-room double room is considered disabled: wide doors, handrails in the toilet, two large beds, and is located on the ground floor. There is a passage with steps between the hotel and the restaurant, but for wheelchair users there is a second passage through a special one.The hall must be notified at the reception and it will be opened.

I liked the hotel! It is located near the railway and car stations, it does not interfere with sleep. 👌The central street is about 15 minutes away by comfortable walking. 👍🏻The rooms are clean, cozy, there is everything you need. If necessary, you can take a kettle at the reception.👍🏻 I took a room with breakfast, the coffee is a little "lame", but everyone has their own taste. the breakfasts were delicious and varied, oatmeal, different types of scrambled eggs, there were pastries and fruits, well, in general, a classic European breakfast. Special thanks to the staff! We had an early check-out, and they packed breakfast for us, put almost everything in the box that was on the buffet at breakfast. The emotions are only positive! I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

I was a guest of this hotel in July 2025. I would like to immediately note the beautiful appearance of the building in which the hotel is located. The lobby also leaves a good impression: columns, armchairs, a wide staircase. The spirit of history is immediately felt. And not for nothing. The hotel was visited by many famous personalities, as evidenced by the plaques next to the central staircase. In addition, showcases with dolls in national clothes are installed as a decoration, which brings beauty to the interior. There is also an elevator on the 1st floor, which is quite modern and fast. The room is small but cozy. Sockets are provided in sufficient quantity. The plumbing is good. Keep in mind that an electric kettle is provided at the reception upon request. The only thing I would like to mention is the lack of air conditioning. In hot summer weather, its absence can be a problem. The breakfasts at the hotel are delicious and satisfying. The staff is polite. The location of the building is good: near the railway station. From the hotel you can walk to the beautiful Brest city center. But there are also public transport stops nearby. In general, only the best memories and impressions remain from the Bug Hotel! 💐

The Bug Hotel is located in the center of Brest (Belarus), on Lenin Street, near the railway station, bus station and the main tourist attractions of Brest (Museum of Brest History, Museum of "Saved Art Treasures", Museum of Local Lore, Lenin Street, Sovetskaya Street, Forged lanterns, Winter Garden and others). The hotel occupies a building of interesting architecture, built in 1958. The hotel is clean, cozy, the restaurant is on the ground floor. The breakfasts, in my opinion, are good and delicious. The staff is attentive. The room has individual hygiene items, new bed linen, comfortable bed, clean cleaning. I really liked the design of the hotel: paintings (whole exhibitions) on the walls, an exhibition of author's dolls in the windows, photographs of famous guests who have visited the Bug Hotel since its foundation. I would especially like to mention the magnificent and touching museum of V.S. Vysotsky, which I have repeatedly visited at the hotel. If I come to Brest again, I will choose the Bug Hotel. Thank you.

Very convenient location for relaxing trips and hiking trails. Always courteous service, beautiful interior (paintings, various collections, historical Vysotsky room and more), delicious food and clean rooms with all amenities. If you do not have time for breakfast, they will pack it for you and you will receive it before departure. The guest can choose from various room options, and you can book a room without breakfast. The car parking in front of the hotel is quite spacious.

I stayed at the hotel for one night in October. The hotel is conveniently located next to the railway station, the main tourist streets are within walking distance (15 minutes). The hall and corridors are decorated in a very original way, my room was an ordinary single room, no frills. For me, the main thing is that everything is quiet, clean and odorless, and that's how it was. There was a buffet breakfast in the morning, everything was fresh and delicious.

The hotel is good. There are some minor disadvantages, but I am ready to recommend this hotel anyway. The breakfasts are excellent. Hearty, varied: porridge, casserole, sausages, fried eggs, omelette, pancakes. Delicious coffee. The dishes are cleaned quickly, there were always tables available. The rooms are not very well cleaned. Hair on the floor, mold in the shower. Not all rooms have mosquito nets. If you are given a room near the stairs, then be prepared for noise at night and early in the morning from other hotel guests who return to the room or go to breakfast. But it no longer depends on the hotel, but on people who do not respect each other. I would also like to mention the work of the restaurant. The chefs cook very well, but the restaurant is often closed for banquets and does not accept orders. It is also open in the evenings until 21:00-21:30. And if you arrived later, there's nowhere to eat nearby. Everything is already closed. The hotel is conveniently located, and any attractions can be reached on foot. Brest Fortress is about 25 minutes away on foot. The central Lenin Square is 5 minutes away. It's 10 minutes to Sovetskaya Street. Near the Park of culture and recreation. The staff is polite and friendly.

The hotel is located right next to the train station. The interior is like a merchant's house, and it even has its own charm. Among the advantages: a snow-white bed, cleanliness in the room, there are soap accessories (although quite modest, only soap and shampoo conditioner), the breakfast is varied and delicious. Cons: the room is super stuffy, the open window does not solve this problem much. Upon check-in on Friday (at 14:00), the laundry service was refused, as it is open only on weekdays and until 17:30 with the words: Well, no one is going to do it today. Total: the hotel is good for a couple of days, you can walk to the center in 10-15 minutes slowly, the breakfasts are decent, the rooms are clean. But there are nuances.

I lived in a standard single room on the second floor. The TV, table, chair, wardrobe and refrigerator were in the room. The location of the hotel is excellent, easy to reach from any part of the city. Departure to Minsk is also convenient. Breakfast is a buffet. The choice of dishes is sufficient and varied. Breakfast was held in a bright and beautiful restaurant hall. The room is clean. The corridors are beautifully decorated. The room in which Vysotsky stayed was opposite. A hotel with a history, I liked it.

We were in Brest with my family for only a day and a half, we stayed at the hotel for 1 night. The location is great, the breakfast is great, the restaurant is beautiful and everything was delicious. The staff is hospitable, we checked in earlier without any problems. The impression of the hotel is good. Of the disadvantages, I would like to note the lack of air conditioners in the rooms, as well as water / coolers. All for an additional fee at the reception. The rooms are old and simple. There were drops on the bathroom fixtures and on the floor. In general, I recommend the hotel.

Nice hotel almost in the city center. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bed linen is of very good quality. The usual breakfasts are porridge, vegetable snacks, cheese, sausage, ham. For hot food : sausages , potatoes, omelet . Fruits : apples and pears . Drinks : coffee, tea, juices , water . You won 't stay hungry . The staff is very friendly. We ordered dinner in the room , I liked it ... and the draniki and fish balls were very tasty .I recommend you to visit. The train station is nearby, across the bridge... but we decided to take a taxi / it was raining / and the trip, in my opinion, cost us very cheap, only 2.50 Belarusian rubles. And the city is just wonderful .

A wonderful hotel. I was looking for an inexpensive place in the city center. There just happened to be a room here. I booked 1.5 months before arrival. And for good reason. A small cozy room for one. Everything you need: a bed, a TV, a bathroom, a table, a wardrobe and a bench. Only the kettle is missing. Breakfast items... Excellent buffet. Very tasty and satisfying. There are even watermelons and tangerines on the menu. I visited from the belly. All the sights are within walking distance. The hotel itself resembles a small museum inside. There are paintings and photos of famous guests on the walls, among them is the pilot Alexei Meresyev, whose book has been a great support to me during a difficult time. When I come back to Brest, I'll stay here.

Review of the Bug Hotel , Where is it located? The heart of the city with perfect transport accessibility! The hotel is located at Lenin St., 2. It is the main pedestrian artery of Brest, which means walking distance to all key attractions: on foot to the Brest Fortress, museums, shops and restaurants. The ideal starting point for any route. ⚡ Concept and atmosphere: ✔ Format:A classic urban hotel offering guests reliable comfort and maximum convenience of location. This is not a boutique hotel, but a time-tested option for those who appreciate practicality and central location. ✔ Atmosphere:Calm, businesslike, a bit retrospective. The spirit of Soviet hospitality reigns here, combined with modern standards of service. The lobby has a quiet, measured atmosphere. ✔ Design:Functional and conservative. The interiors are designed in a strict, solid style. The emphasis is on order and cleanliness. The rooms have been renovated and have everything you need for a short stay. ✔ The audience:Tourists who want to be in the center of events, business travelers who come for work, as well as couples and families who want to have the whole city at hand. , Visit features: The main trump card is the location:The windows overlook the central street of the city. In the evening, you can enjoy a walk through the beautifully lit pedestrian zone right on the hotel's doorstep. Thoughtful service:They will always help you at the reception, tell you the route, and call a taxi. There is a luggage storage room, which is very convenient for guests with early check-in or late check-out. A substantial breakfast:The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with a good selection of dishes, from classic porridges and omelets to pastries and cold appetizers. A great start for a new day of travel. The silence inside:Despite the central location, the rooms are quite quiet due to good sound insulation. Windows to the courtyard guarantee an absolutely restful sleep. Undeniable advantages: ✔ The best location in the city for hiking. All the most interesting things are within walking distance. ✔ Free on-site parking for guests (a huge plus for the center!). ✔ Clean, well-maintained rooms with everything you need: air conditioning, TV, private bathroom. ✔ Friendly and helpful staff. ✔ Excellent value for money, considering the location and the service offered. What you should pay attention to: The view from the windows onto busy Lenin Street can be a bit noisy for very sensitive sleepers (ask for a room in the courtyard). The design and furniture in the rooms are simple, without frills and design solutions. Connoisseurs of boutique hotels may find it austere. Bathrooms may have a slight hint of antiquity, although they are kept perfectly clean. 💯 Summary: The Bug Hotel is a proven, reliable and most convenient choice for a trip to Brest. It's not about luxury and glamour, but about comfort, the perfect location and confidence in the future. You pay for the opportunity to be in the very center of events and have everything at hand. Rating: 8/10 The Council:Book a room in advance, especially for weekends and holidays — due to the convenient location, the hotel is in high demand. Be sure to specify the type of room (facing the street or courtyard) when booking, depending on your preferences for the view and silence. P.S. Ideal for tourists, business trips and anyone who wants to save time on transport and live in the epicenter of urban life. It is easy to start any trip around the city and region from here.

The hotel is retro in the literal and figurative sense: poor Internet, no air conditioning in the rooms, narrow beds, the perimeter of which cuts painfully into the thighs every time you sit on them. There are no 1-bed rooms, you buy 2 places (and that's 2 breakfasts that you won't eat) if you travel alone. The rooms are cramped. The hotel has a letter G and if the room does not face the courtyard, then there is a noisy highway nearby. Among the advantages are good bed linen, breakfast on a solid 4 - buffet without red fish and right in the restaurant - restaurant with waiters. There are paintings on the walls of the corridors, the Vysotsky Museum and an awesome collection of dolls that will delight the eye. If you stay together in a room, you can take it cheap. And nearby - 800 m- railway station.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night in July 2025. Of the advantages: 1) courteous staff; 2) Large free parking; 3) The antique back and interesting design inside the hotel - a collection of dolls of different nationalities - is a very cool idea. Of the cons: 1) There are no coolers in the hotel! Nowhere at all! - I was very surprised, because even on trips there are coolers. I would like the hotel management to pay attention to this and take care of the thirst of the guests who are tired after the trip. There were no water bottles in the room either...Although they could compensate for the lack of coolers... 2) There are no kettles in the rooms! You can call the reception desk and if you have a free one, they will offer to come down for it, but when we stopped by, they were all busy. 3) The price of accommodation is clearly overstated, taking into account the two disadvantages above, and the renovation of the rooms for living is slightly outdated, it could be updated. 4) The twilight in the restaurant is paid separately, it costs 27 bel.rub., which I also think does not relate at all to the choice of dishes! The buffet is very tiny...but the plus here is that at breakfast, you can take the cherished bottle of water with you, people left with their hands full of bottles of water. Overall, I ate the casserole, it was delicious, and I didn't get poisoned, for which I thank you very much! :)

There is no parking lot of its own, but there is a fairly large public parking lot under the windows, even with the "refueling" of electric vehicles. We booked a room back in Moscow. When booking, they said that the room has everything, including air conditioning, and the hotel has its own parking lot. In practice, it turned out that there is no air conditioner in the room and the parking lot at the hotel is a citywide parking lot. At that time, the temperature in Brest was +30 degrees Celsius. I had to sleep with the window open. The room's window overlooks the parking lot and the bus station. All night long, the dispatcher announced the boarding of flights on a megaphone. There is no forced ventilation in the room either. In general, we didn't sleep well. The rooms are very small. But in general, the hotel is clean. The hotel is located in a historic building, near the city center. Soviet design and the same amenities. Friendly staff. Good breakfasts according to the type of the Swedish table. That's where the advantages ended. The rooms are dirty. The nightlights are in a sea of dust, the floors haven't been washed in 3 days, and neither has the toilet. We just changed the towel and that's it. The lunch included in the accommodation is delicious, but it's the same for 4 days. And that's not the worst part. There is a restaurant on the 1st floor. Without sound insulation. We got to a live drum game from 21 to 23 hours. The walls were shaking, the TV almost fell over from the vibration, the curtains were swinging. The daughter had a tantrum, and the adult had a heart rhythm disorder. Everyone apologized to the complaints, but there was nothing they could do. Neither in the hotel, nor in the restaurant. It was impossible to move - everything is busy in the city. On other days, the events in the restaurant were quieter, but they also broke the silence.

One of the advantages is the location (provided that the windows overlook the courtyard). In a room that costs more than 12 tr per day !!!, which costs 5 stars in Minsk and 4 in Moscow - the ceiling in the room is stained from flooding, just like the wallpaper. It costs a penny to restore, and it didn't happen yesterday, as can be seen from the stains, absolute disrespect for the guests. There is one folding chair in the room, which looks like it was in the closet when checking in, apparently so as not to frighten. Water is only on the first day, and the rest of the days are not included, a funny saving)). I hope this is the biggest income of the owners. The guys at the reception are great - they tell, prompt, advise. The breakfasts are weak - everything is cold (even if you come to the beginning) and not tasty, they are in no hurry to update the dishes, the coffee is normal.

We stayed with a family of 4 people passing through. The hotel is located just fine: near the bus station, railway station, park, Brest Fortress, street of lanterns and much more in a half-hour walk. The room is just wonderful: a double bed, two folding sofas, a huge bathroom with a shower and a bathtub😳 a set of towels for each resident, but only 2 bathrobes🤷♂️ there is also a dining table in the room, but only four glasses and a kettle are available from the dishes, and for some reason only 2 bottles of water 0.5😬 there is a mini fridge, TV, wi-fi. At the time of our stay, the weather was hot, and therefore we really lacked a split system🥵 but given the usual climate of the region, this option is most likely usually not in demand. The hotel has a room where Vysotsky stayed. There are also photos on the walls of famous personalities who lived in this hotel or were somehow connected with it. Paintings are placed along the corridors, the feeling that you live in a museum🙂 I would like to have bags of water on the floor, well, not everyone is suitable for drinking tap water...special thanks to the restaurant with its wonderful breakfasts (buffet), fruits, vegetables, porridge (though only one), omelette, scrambled eggs, sausages, casserole, pastries, juices, coffee machine.. in a word, you definitely won't go hungry, I think everyone will find something to their taste.. on the day of departure, however, there was a question about the availability of a free table, at the time of our visit to the restaurant there were no free tables, but after a couple of minutes the place was vacated and we settled down quietly. In general, I liked the hotel, it seemed a little overpriced, but apparently the season location plays a role here. In a word, we didn't regret a bit that we stayed at the Bug hotel. If we get to Brest again, we will most likely stay only at this hotel.

Aggressive environment towards guests in everything. There is no kettle, there are no coolers, the water in the room is not replenished. The only cooler in the restaurant with a written requirement not to take water with you) there are incongruities in the room, a mirror that cannot be approached, there is no shoe spoon. I ordered and paid for a double room for 2 rooms since there are three of us adults, we were given a simple one and sent to Yandex to sort it out) the elevator engine has no cooling system, on the top floor all gases and heat from it go into the corridor near the room, so the temperature there is always about 30 degrees, they save on everything (hello to the owner), there is no light in the hallway near the room, you always make your way to the room in the dark. The site is a hoax, there is no parking, and it is difficult to park a car. The chic corridor entourage against this background looks like show-off and deception. I visit hotels a lot by profession, but this is the most aggressive hotel to customers. I don't recommend it. I would have given 2, but 3 for the excellent curd casserole, it's just wonderful in the restaurant)

Before the trip to Brest, I read a lot of reviews and they were all positive. I've booked a room. But!!!! I do not recommend this hotel for accommodation. The room rate does not match the quality. The design of the lobby is beautiful, but for some reason they decided not to try with the rooms and made it look like an amateur, to put it mildly. There is a strange unpleasant smell in the bathroom. It's big, but it's not very comfortable. The Internet is not working! When I asked how I could work from my room online, they offered to sit in the lobby, where maybe he would work, or maybe not. The problem was not solved, but ignored. As a result, I decided not to stay for the entire duration of the reservation, but to move out earlier! Do not waste your money on this hotel. If I go back to Brest, I won't set foot here.

Honestly, I didn't understand why the place got 5 points. The breakfasts are without any special revelations, but they are not bad, you just need to arrive early - but the trouble with the room is precisely in terms of care parameters. There is a smell of cigarettes or just mustiness, the bathroom smells bad, the fan is clogged with dust, the water in the shower does not drain. The hotel's Wi-Fi has been rebooted and is running at a very low speed.
